YMMV, of course, but the crew that installed my unit did a superb job under tough install conditons. They were also very careful not to scratch my hardwood steps (my laundry closet is on the bedroom level) and floors. Total time to remove old units and install the new one was about 45 min. Again, my house floorplan does not make these installs easy. If you have a traditional ground floor laundry room my guess it would be even quicker.

You'll need these when you install your new washing machine. These do a fine job. It comes with two hoses, one for hot, one for cold. Stainless steel hoses are more reliable than the old rubber fill hoses.

I have a 2nd floor washer/dryer closet so I wasn't sure if the unit I was looking at was going to make it up the stairs. The sales person at the store suggested BB's site survey team come out and pre-measure to make sure ahead of delivery (I bought the washer/dryer and scheduled install pending the site survey). Waste of time.
The guy they sent out for the site survey was a kitchen estimator contractor. He knew nothing about washers and dryers and made it sound like there was no way the washer dryer was getting up the stairs. I guess Best Buy installers didn't read his notes because they came out to instal the washer/dryer anyway and had no problem at all.
So end conclusion was I wasted a day waiting for the site survey guy that didn't know anything about washer dryer installs. At least I wasn't charged extra for the service.

They used this when they installed my washer/dryer unit. It seems to do a great job transporting heat and lint from my dryer because I haven't seen any lint flying around.
The all-new Capture is the most secure, convenient, accessible way to carry your camera, period. Unlike a camera strap, Capture keeps your camera rigidly stable while hiking, biking, or moving around the studio. Unlike a camera bag, Capture keeps your camera instantly accessible with the click of a button. The Capture system includes 2 components: a metal clip that clamps to any backpack strap, belt, or bag, and a tripod-compatible plate that screws into the bottom of your camera. Your camera smoothly locks into the clip, where it is held rigidly and securely. Press the lockable quick-release button to remove. The new 3rd gen Capture is smaller, lighter, and smoother than ever before. All machined/anodized aluminum construction. Metal quick-release button and locking mechanism holds well over 90 kg (200 lbs). Beautiful new ultra-smooth finish enhances durability, and ultra-low profile design increases comfort.

I had the v2 Capture Clip and absolutely hated it. It was clunky and the mount used was Peak proprietary. Recently I tried the v3 and it was a completely different experience. They slimmed down the clip considerably to the point you don't even notice it. And the mount is a standard ARCA type which means you can go from wearing your camera to putting it on a tripod in no time with no need to remove the Peak mount to install a different mount for the tripod.
I only use it on my backpack and with a lens no longer than, say, 5", it feels great. After 5" it's a bit wobbly and awkward, not for me. I can't wear the clip on my belt at all. It just feels like it's going to pull my pants down plus I'd be afraid it would bang up my camera easier.
The price is a bit nuts but that's par for the course with Peak. The thing is they make unique products that solve problems better or differently than every other camera accessory maker. So I guess they can demand the price because while $70 is a lot of money for a clip it's less than missing a shot because you couldn't grab your camera in time.

As is usual w/ Peak Design products, this is a well designed and thought out storage cube. It has bought front and side doors. Inside has plenty of room for a medium size mirrorless camera like a Canon R5 or R6 with 24-100 attached plus a 100-500, and one or two more small to medium lenses or other accessories. It's well padded, so no worries there.
The exterior is the same nylon from Peak's backpacks and slings. It feels good and is quite durable. It has has loops on the exterior if you want to add a strap to it (not included) and use it as a shoulder bag.
My problem with it was it was too big to fit in any of my day hiking bags (20-32 liter). It was just too tall. Maybe someday they will make a slim version that will fit in hiking backpacks, but for now, if that's your motivation, buy w/ caution. So I'll give this one a qualified recommendation.
Full-size and fully featured, with the washer on the bottom and dryer on top, the sleek single unit LG WashTower takes up half the space, giving you room to add a sink, a folding table or whatever you like. But unlike conventional stacked pairs, LG~s Center Control panel is perfectly positioned with both washer and dryer controls at just the right height. Built-in intelligence makes laundry less of a chore by taking out the guesswork, while top-of-the-line innovations put advanced cleaning power within reach.

I live in a townhouse w/ only a laundry closet -- 38"D x32" W to be exactly. So my W/D options these days are very limited because most full size individual washing machines and dryers available are too deep to allow for the needed 3-4" of room for the vent in the back. This left me with exactly two options - the WashTower with it's normal load size or one of the smaller 24" units that are maybe big enough for doll clothes. So WashTower it was.
One thing that concerned me was whether it would go up my winding stairs. To my relief, while this is a stacked unit, it can be moved in two pieces. After that it was "off to the races." No install problems at all.
The unit I was replacing was an old war horse, 24 years old. It was one of the first stackable front loads available in the the U.S. My only beef with it was that when it was on the spin cycle it sounded **and felt** like a jet was taking off in my house. The LG WashTower is more like a electric car on the street. You barely know it's on. Fantastic. It's so quiet you might forget you have clothes in the wash.
Fortunately it's a "connected" device so if you set up the app it will send a notification to your phone or smartwatch that your laundry is ready for the next step. The only downside to this is if you have a load in the washer and dryer it doesn't tell you which is finished. Another feature I like is that all the control panels are at eye (and arm) level. You can also control the unit through the app.
The performance of this machine is excellent. It weighs your clothes in normal mode to calculate wash time. There is also a quick wash mode that will wash clothes in 30 min. It has all the other modes like bedding, delicate that you would expect. You can also download modes from the app (just one at a time though). Drying is equally competent. A normal load of cotton clothes or sheets can dry in as little as 20 min.
There's a lot more to this unit but those are some of the highlights. The unit is more expensive compared to what a comparable individual washer dryer pair would cost, but if you are looking at the WashTower my guess is you don't have that option. And, at least when I was shopping, no other front load stacked unit offers a normal 4.5 cu ft washer drum -- large enough to fit a queen, probably a king comforter or blanket.
The one thing that kind of gripes me is that, at this price, LG does not include a drying rack for when you want to dry things but don't want them tumbling around. It's an extra cost option.

While it clearly sounds like a small portable speaker it can deftly fill up a small room or area better than an other speaker of its size I've heard. It has plenty of power, though it's a little weak on the bass side. Keep in mind this is a mono speaker. If you want stereo you'll need two. If you have two you can sync them together.
I was hesitant to buy because of the price, but it's hard to find an inexpensive Airplay 2 speaker, so I bit. No regrets a month later. You can get bluetooth-only portable speakers for about 2/3rds less but, at least indoors, they won't sound as good as the Roam does, so priorities, I guess.
On WiFi the speaker works with other Sonos speakers or Apple's Airplay 2. It can also stream from Bluetooth sources. The Sonos App is easy to use and is compatilbe with most major streaming services.
I can't comment on battery life as I mostly have it plugged it, though Sonos says to expect about 10 hours. It comes with a USB-C cable, but you'll have to supply your own power adapter. You can also charge it with a basic Qi wireless pad -- no need to buy Sonos' stylish matching, but expensive one.

I own a few iPads, including an 12.9" iPad Pro. The Pro is great for work but the basic 10.2" model is perfect for browsing and note taking. It's really the best bargain going in the iPad line. The bezels are only slightly bigger than the Air and the screen is only slightly smaller. You also don't get a laminated screen, which does look and feel better. But you still have full iOS functionality and Apple Pencil and smart keyboard support for hundreds less.
32GB is very small, however, and only perfect if you don't plan to install a lot of music or videos. iOS will take about 2.6 GB of that space. It's really best for web browsing, streaming, and text document creation. If you want to physically install movies and music go for the 128GB model.
