Ive been paying that "other" competitive, collectable card game for so long, it was time I started lloking for another type of this-type of game. The first one I started researching was this, "Slay the Spire". Seeing that it is a PC AND an XBox game raised my interest, since I wanted some more console games. This is a perfect fit, since the console version loses nothing to being played on PC. So I bought it for XBox. OH it is FUN and engaging, and gives that "keep playing a liitle while longer feeling.

For my own selfish reason, I must make more public knowledge of this order.
BUT-I ordered this item BRAND NEW, but what I recieved was on OPENED, USED item that was a Customer Return. Even the return address label on the box showed "Best Buy Return Center" as part of the address. I went throught the return process myself, and had them reship me another unit. GUESS WHAT!!_ AGAIN I received an OPENED USED item, but thisone had chips, scratches, and the battery door was broken off.
NOW IF the normal store procedure is to OPEN AND TEST this item before shipping I do not know, but that should be made aware to any potential buyer thinking they are getting a NEW item.

I first had this game on a certain console, and it was quite a challange, but still so much fun to play, and sense of accomplishment. Over the years, I starting finding it found it harder and harder to use a controller for these type of FPS games.
I was honestly never a huge fan of FPS, until I got this for my PC gaming rig, and made this purchase as my first FPS for that.
I am old and nuts, but I am finding using a keyboard and mouse for this game so much more enjoyable and smoother then console/controller. The vast majority of FPS players actually prefer controllers, but I am the opposite.
I play this now exclusively on PC, ands when I 'need a break" I play Fallout 76. Go figure.

Been waiting for this day to come for the last few weeks since I got the Beta access, was really enjoying the game that I played. Woke up this morning and got the game in my mailbox, brought the package inside (still sealing) sat down in front of my PC and opened it up, the case is a nice steel casing, then I opened it up and well, it was empty. No game, no map, nothing at all a completely empty case. To top it off my local best buy doesn't have the game in stock, so I can't just go locally to exchange the game I have to wait for a reship.

This case was a bonus for preorder-a BONUS STEELBOOK only! The steelbook itself is the extra bonus-this is NOT an order for any version of the actual game! I did research this, and aamof, I didnt even know I was getting this until a week after I put my order in. Thats why it is considered a bonus.

I paid less money than this for my Xbox One S a couple years ago. This is a gimped version for only $50 off the MSRP and I definitely would never pay full price for this.
For me the biggest selling feature of the Xbox One S is that it doubles as a Blu-ray player (and it is a good one) so I don't need multiple boxes by my TV. Blu-ray quality is still WAY better than streaming quality and most people still have physical copies of stuff. Not to mention that sometimes getting a physical copy of a game or movie can be cheaper than digital (like if you buy one used).
If they are going to remove the disc player then they should at least make it easier for people to remove and replace the hard drive themselves. If I could easily put one of my 8TB Red HDDs in there and load it up with my Blu-ray quality media it might be a different story but even then it would still be too expensive for what it is IMO. And no - I do not want to have to plug in an unsightly external drive.

My opinion. Ive been a PC Gamer since 1992, and have always enjoyed the "Civilizations" and Master of Orions" of the world. I have always enjoyed the TBS better then the RTS, especially in my slower years.:-) .

Why is this so much more expensive than the actual disc version which is only $15???
Maybe you are reffering to the original FALLOUT 4, the vanilla version? This particular version has all the DLC included, which may account for the higher price.
Of course nowadays the GOTY version can be had for less then what I paid for the original vanilla release at that time..:-)
