You don't hear much about The Band anymore these days, but you should. It's one of the greatest rock outfits in history. Unfortunately they did not release many albums before the called it quits at The Last Waltz, but Stage Fright ranks close to The Band and Music From Big Pink among their releases. From the title track to The Shape I'm In and Strawberry Wine, few bands have ever released such a strong set of tracks at one go. It's a must buy and in this 50th anniversy release, the sound and pressing is perfect!

Made from carbon fibers, the AudioQuest record brush gently reaches into the groove, pulling out dust and dirt that would otherwise snap, crackle, and pop through your speakers. Don't let those little intrusions turn into big interruptions.

The return of Ridley (Scott) makes this one gut-wrenching and spectacular sequel to his way under-rated Prometheus, and, of course the best Alien of all, the original! No need for more expensive 4K disc as this BD does it all, from a perfect picture to sizzling sound experience. Don't stream it (ugh!) BUY this even cheaper than streaming...hardware always looks and sounds so much better.

Purple Rain is the sixth studio album by Prince, the first to feature his backing band The Revolution, and is the soundtrack album to the 1984 film of the same name. As usual was hesitant to go for this vinyl as more recent deluxe releases of 1999 and Sign O' The Times made me wonder if Purple would also get yet another massive deluxe redo. BUT I'm glad I did as I got a great price-match on it and it not only sounds phenomenal but the pressing is clean and quiet., Sooo much more punch and detail than the crummy CDs. BUY IT, you won't regret it.
