Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Godfather Part III, director/screenwriter Francis Ford Coppola brings a definitive new edit and restoration of the final film in his epic Godfather trilogy-Mario Puzo's THE GODFATHER, Coda The Death of Michael Corleone. Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), now in his 60s, seeks to free his family from crime and find a suitable successor to his empire. That successor could be fiery Vincent (Andy Garcia)... but he may also be the spark that turns Michael's hope of business legitimacy into an inferno of mob violence. The film's meticulously restored picture and sound, under the supervision of American Zoetrope and Paramount Pictures, includes a new beginning and ending, as well as changes to scenes, shots, and music cues. The resulting project reflects author Mario Puzo and Coppola's original intentions of The Godfather Part III, and delivers, in the words of Coppola, Incha more appropriate conclusion to The Godfather and The Godfather Part II.Inch

Coppola finally deletes that awful original ending

Had to buy this as I never liked Michael falling off his chair dead at the end of the original version; it reminded me of Father Guido Sarducci fallnig off his chair on SNL all the time. Spoiler alert: Thank goodness Francis Coppola HAS finally edited that out. The film also kicks off better and flows better EXCEPT for the opera finale, which unfortunately doesn't seem to have the heart-breaking impact it had in the original editing. All in all, The Godfather Coda IS better than The Godfather III version. Highly recommended.

Great mono vinyl of one of the greatest pop albums

THE greatest Christmas album ever produced is now back on vinyl in proper mono. I bought this with hesitation, given the cover had removed Spector's name (well he did murder someone) for Philles Records but to my surprise later discovered that was the way the album cover originally appeared apparently. In addition I always worry I'll get a noisy bad recording on vinyl but I always take a chance as it sounds so much better than CD . And voila this recording is magnificent! I have the mono CD and there is NO COMPARISON. Any music buff, whether or not you like Christmas MUST BUY this.

While the movie is dark, which impacts the depth of the 3D, you can't do better than $10 for a 3D version that makes this film better than the so-so 2D version. Highly recommended.

Bought for the 3D. not the greatest - no 16:9 zooms so very disappointing but otherwise ok. Great movie though as DC finally outdoes all the Marvel junk out there.
In this epic adventure of hope and empowerment, a cyborg, Alita (Rosa Salazar), searches for clues from her past when she awakens in a future world she does not recognize.

Bigger and better than ever, the 3D on this disc is near perfection - except for the fact that we don't get any 16:9 zoom-ins during the action sequences. At least the give us a 7.1 DTS soundtrack on the 3d if not for an Atmos. HIGHLY recommended. Fun movie, and for those of you who may someday get a 4K projector or TV (I'm sticking with my 3D DLP), there's even that offered.

What could have been the best 3D release since the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 steelbook with both 4K AND 3D (WITH a changing aspect ratio AND dolby atmos soundtrack) treats us 3d fans again with contempt - as DC gives us 3D with only the widescreen aspect ratio throughout (and ridiculously gives us changing 16:9 aspect ratios on the Blu-ray for God knows what reason).. AND a crap 5.1 soundtrack instead of a full-blown dolby atmos track on the 3d. COME ON. These companies have killed 3d so they can sell you some new version of 3d in the future. Otherwise a fun 4 STAR movie with a tearful finale GIVEN 2 star treatment in 3d..WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN!!

THIS is why the movie studios should have never have gotten rid of 3D Blu-ray discs. There is absolutely NO other way to watch this movie. The 3D takes you right into the world of Dr Seuss...even though the story takes you out of it a bit since the writers have stretched his short story into way too long story with two many unnecessary twists and turns.

The Egyptian stuff in this movie is even more awesome in 3d. Not sure what the rest of the movie is about; bunch of kids flying around or setting things on fire and stuff...a lot like a peculiar children movie I watched once. But this is worth a buy for the 3d even though I'm not sure what the movie was about or who these kids were flying around.

Some movies are instant classics - like Jaws. Others aren't worth watching at all unless there's a reason. The reason to watch this is to show movie companies "We want our 3d!!!"..Buy it in 3d. We need movie companies to bring back 3d!!!!
