My girlfriend lost her Samsung watch charger, and instead of getting her a replacement cord I bought her this. Her watch, phone, and earbuds — the pad will charge them all. It also charges my iPhone. Having used a few wireless charges before I can say this is good quality with a solid cord and a large charging area that makes placement more forgiving than single-device wireless chargers. Also a huge plus is the indicator lights which will tell you if your device is charging (red) and when it’s fully charged (green). Highly recommended!

After Avengers fell flat out of the gate, I think we were all uncertain as to whether Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix could deliver a good superhero game. But Guardians of the Galaxy is a great game that well worth your time. A great story with heart and humor. A great team-based fight system. And a killer soundtrack that includes rock ballads from the fictional band "Star-Lord" as well as actual classics from there likes of Rick Ashley, Motley Crue, a-ha, and Wham!

I never played this game the first time around. Like many, NieR Automata was my entry into this universe. I loved that game so I bought this one. While Replicant is not as good as Automata, it is a solid entry in the series and definitely worth playing if you’re a fan of the NieR universe. Replicant has been remastered/remade to play like a more modern game. However, while it does play much more like Automata than its original iteration, Replicant does also show its age with a lack of modern features like fast travel.

Even if you want to forget that there are four Indiana Jones movies, not three, their release in 4K is something to celebrate. The movies look great and the steelbook cases are a uniform white design that feature Indy and whatever relic he’s after. The only downside is the box set they are housed in — it’s cardboard with small cardboard dividers inside to separate the four steelbooks. Four steelbooks warrant something more sturdy than cardboard (like the metal box that the four-movie Avengers set from BestBuy came housed in, complete with a foam insert to keep the individual steelbooks separate). Hopefully, this cardboard holds up over time, but it seems unlikely.

The Mass Effect trilogy receives a fresh coat of paint with this new edition. The graphics and gameplay improvements are particularly evident in the first game. However, this is still the same three games with the same great characters and story. Combat has been tweaked to make it smoother. The menu system still drives me crazy. Still, for old or new fans it is a welcome revisiting of a classic game trilogy.

Great for Fitness, Not for Everyone

I was on a fitness kick, bought a stationary bike, and so decided to get an Apple Watch. It came with 3 free months of Apple Fitness+ (and an additional 3 months from Best Buy) so it seemed like a good deal. I got the GPS version that links to my iPhone via Bluetooth, not the separate data plan one.
It is handy having access to your notifications at will, seeing emails, and sending messages. It's nice... but after having it for several weeks I can't say I find it to be something I can't live without. However if you are into fitness, having all the integrated features when you use Apple Fitness+ is great. You take the classes and see your stats from the watch integrated into video of the class. It's not going to take the place of my phone, but for working out (or just monitoring your exercise throughout the day) it is a great addition to your personal Apple ecosystem.
