I’ve hd this for about a year now. Got it because my neighbors trees dump all sort of leaves, seeds, pollen, etc into my pool. This little gem does wonders at helping keep all that crud out of my skimmers and/or sinking to the bottom, requiring netting out. To that end, it is a huge labor and time saver. THe only negatives are space for the chlorine puck holder is not deep enough, so the holders lid wont fully close until the puck is about 1/4 dissolved. (It does not interfere with operation), and the basket can be a bit fiddle to remove. Other than that, no issues. Solar is another bonus. I put a charge on it beginning of the season, haven’t had to recharge it since.

Bought this to try and get my still works beautifully circa 2001 Cinema Display (ADB connector) to connect to a Mac mini. ADB to DVI to thunderbolt was, unfortunately, it was an adapter to far.
This one connected to the other cables properly, but the monitor still wasn’t recognized.
Thats not the adapters fault, the monitor was just too old and not recognized by the Mini. Adapter worked fine on an older Mac.

The back is not quite as “grippy” as other brand - a little bit of texture would help a lot); the ridges on te side more than make up for it. Tested it within hours of getting it ; the flat back is very smooth, so I dropped it a couple times before muscle memory taught me the amount of pressure required to hold on from that angle.

Cut the cord - cost saving in the first month alone more than paid for this device.
Connected to a dumb flat panel and a surround receiver. Hardwired Ethernet.
Like any Apple device, it will talk to your other Apple devices for quick and easy setup.
Interface works more or less just like your iphone/ipad; although the remote has a ton of functions built-in compared to the number of buttons on the remote; it does have a learning curve. if your phone is in range, it to can/will automatically function as a remote, withhout having to open an app to do so.
Overall, does exactly what I expected/wanted it to do

Does this have underwater sensors to avoid being stuck in an infinity pool wall?
It has extendible “feet” to prevent it from getting hung up on steps. It tend to ride a bit higher in the front that the back. Given that, on approach to an infinity wall, the obstruction sensors in the front (just above the horizontal rollers) may not see anything….so logically, it would not stop/try to turn, instead would just keep going forward.
