Excellent story with great voiceover actors / actresses (most are big Hollywood names). Animation is modern style with a great soundtrack too!!! The movie takes you in a roller coaster of a ride with each scene. You will not be disappointed. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.

Voices of Mark Hamill, Susan Tyrrell, Richard Romanus. A post-apocalyptic world is occupied by elves, fairies and mutants. Master animator and director Ralph Bakshi creates a fascinating futuristic fantasy, in which the war between siblings battling with magic and technology, takes center stage. 1977/color/81 min/PG/widescreen.

Good animated movie from the late 70s

This movie reminded me (animation-wise) of the Lord of the Rings (Hobbit) Movie made around the same time as well as some of the interstitial Monty Python (British) animation that was popular at the time. The story is moving and has a very Star Wars feel to it. I recommend it for the casual sci-fibsnd especially for the animation fans out there.

Great retelling of classic story

Bought the movie on the release date and was surprised how well this re-telling of the classic holiday favorite was (including up-to-date music soundtrack, storyline and added characters from the town). I highly recommend the Grinch (2018). Fun for all ages!!!
