Early Mel Brooks classic

Cheesy but fun

I wanted to like this more than I did. It's too bad I got a little bored of it's cheesiness. Still, there's redeeming qualities. It's based on Stephen King, so that's always a plus for me. Great actors like Sheen, Scott, Carney and Fletcher. Early role for Drew after ET

I never heard of this before and came upon it in an article on rotten tomatoes. I agree with most that this movie is a very realistic and scary film. Michael Rooker and his co-star/accomplice in killing give great performances!

Carpenter horror

A decent film from the great John Carpenter. I'm a huge fan of Halloween, The Thing, and Escape from NY, but this one is just average to me. I think I had too high of expectations. I'm a big Donald Pleasence fan, so I gave it a try. The Blu Ray quality is great and special features make it worth it. Commentary from Carpenter and interviews

Two great movies on Blu Ray

I had the remake Dawn on VHS, so I was overdue for an upgrade. The quality of it is great. Plus, Land of the Dead is a pretty solid flick too. Anything with Asia Argento and Dennis Hopper in it is good in my book

Not Beach House's best, but still great
