Cult classic from Romero

Day of the dead is a cult classic film from the one and only George Romero. Though not as highly regarded as Night and Dawn, I liked this just as much. The characters and actors are great. If you like your horror with comedy, this is for you. Great bonus features! Documentary and commentary plus more

Having recently gotten into Beach House and Mazzy Star, I decided to go back in time to some of the originators of dream pop genre. This band made it possible for the other two. Beautiful voices and melodies. Many consider this their best. I haven't heard anything else but Blue Bell Knoll. Next, I need to check out Treasure

Another departure from zombies for Romero. Like Monkey Shines, this peaked my interest because he's mostly known for zombie flicks. This is a great revenge story. Includes a Misfits video and commentary and a great performance by Stormare

One of the three in the animal trilogy movies made early in the career of the iconic Argento. The others being bird and cat. Great movie. That didn't surprise me. I like most things Dario has done. Suspenseful, scary, disturbing, keeps you guessing who killer is. The only con is the price could have been lower
