This thing works. Especially if your room is dusty and your air has allergens in it. The installed UV light is an extra must-have in these days of COVID since UV light destroys viruses. Yes. You need to be connected to the internet first in order to "route" the information through the router, i.e., you should have your DSL or cable modem working before setting this up.

Does this laptop have a webcam? It doesn’t say in the features.

I have windows 7. Unfortunately I didn't upgrade to windows 10 when it was free. Is this what I need for an upgrade? Or is there another way of upgrading Windows 7 to 10
Microsoft officially stopped doing this a couple of years ago as you know, but unofficially they're still supporting it. This article (dated June 2019) will show you how to do it.
I would ensure that you have all Win7 security fixes and updates installed before you do this to ensure you don't have any (or few) hiccups. Good luck!

This is correct. Any combination of power pins can be used for a GPU, as long as the GPU doesn't exceed what the supply can provide. That said, I would recommend having at least 100 watts more in a power supply than you actually need as it's always a good idea to have some headroom.
