Fine addition for history buff!

I watched this after watching the Band of Brothers. While I felt it did not reach the level of Band of Brothers it is still a fine production. The extras are excellent as was the $10 sale price I found at Best Buy. Would recommend watching The Pacific then Band of Brothers if you have not seen either.

One of the best shows ever made, The picture quality isn't the best, even for a DVD version. And the packaging is very flimsy. Both issues are from the manufacturer and not the fault of Best Buy. Still recommend buying since CBS has no intentions of releasing a BD remaster.

Does this movie resemble many of the older versions of Robin Hood? Not really? Is it a bad movie? No. I must say that it took awhile to be engrossed with this version but I did see it to it's conclusion and decided that it does have some good parts. I would say it is worth the purchase if the price is not high.

My family loves both of these movies. If you are a baseball fan you must have both in your collection. Even if you are not a die hard sports fan I think you will find both movies exceptional. The two movies are different is scope - A league of their own is funny and yet provides a historical perspective on how women played baseball during WWII when many of the men were fighting. The Natural provides a unique example of what a player must deal with during a career. It is not all about the game as much as the journey.

This classic western directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne is simply fantastic! They do not make movies like this anymore. There's romance, comedy, and of course action. John Agar and Shirley Temple really click as the love interest. Of course it is your basic U.S. Calvary vs Indians. Great Fun!
