Top notch western not to be missed!

While the story is not historical accurate at times it does not diminishes the fine acting and well written scree play. Western fans will love the action! I only wish there were some special features but when this film was made developing that kind of material was probably not common.

Enhance game play with this Nintendo Switch pro controller. A great western that has finally come out on Blu ray. Steve McQueen, Suzanne Pleshette, Karl Malden, Brian Keith, Arthur Kennedy, and Martin Landau makes this a must see! Maybe not good for very young children because of some of the violence but still does not come close to what is out there these days. The story line is almost like a four act play which provides some interesting transitions.

Have waited a long time for this to come out on Blu ray. It was only Charlton Heston's second movie and he looked like a veteran. Real circus performers and on location filming enhanced the quality of the film. James Stewart plays a clown who never appears without makeup. A real treat was Emmet Kelly (the most famous clown) having a support role. Would have appreciated more extras!

I have always enjoyed watching this Musical. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was filmed mostly at the studio rather than on location and some of the sets are very obvious. The special features are well worth the purchase. The dancing is fantastic and Kane Powell and Howard Keel provide their usual superb singing voices.

This is a fine and I believe underrated John Wayne movie. I believe it was also a springboard for Susan Hayward's career. It was also fun to see all of the usual supporting actors in Wayne movies as well as a couple of actors who spent a lot of their career playing antagonists but favorable roles in this vehicle.

This classic western directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne is simply fantastic! They do not make movies like this anymore. There's romance, comedy, and of course action. John Agar and Shirley Temple really click as the love interest. Of course it is your basic U.S. Calvary vs Indians. Great Fun!
