In 2007, DC Released Superman Doomsday. This covered the Death of Superman story where Superman fought Doomsday. 11 years later, DC retells the story.
The story seems to pick up after Justice League War. The Justice League has been assembled and is now funded by the UN. Superman is having issues navigating his personal and league life. Afraid to bring Lois into the world of gods and monsters, Superman struggles with taking the relationship to the next level.
Meanwhile, a dark cloud looms on the horizon. Crash landing in the sea, the asteroid brings the harbringer of death... Doomsday.
This is the key points of the Death of Superman. The majority of the movie is either Clark Kent (Superman) navigating his relationship with Lois Lane or the Justice League fighting Doomsday. This is both a strong point and a detriment to the movie.
The part about Superman and Lois was well written. How does a hero balance his personal and public lives? Can you bring someone else into your world without endangering them? These key questions are wrestled with during the story. This story arch comes to an abrupt end as the Doomsday arch swells.
The Doomsday story is the monster that leaves destruction in its wake. Doomsday kills without remorse. Doomsday feeds off of violence. Doomsday is the ultimate killing machine.
If you know the story, or read the title, you know how this movie ends. It is about Superman's death. Unlike the 2007 Superman Doomsday (which tells both the death and ressurection of Superman), this film only focuses on the Death of Superman, making it feel like half a movie. Batman vs Superman (2016) dealth with the Death of Superman, only to have him revived in Justice League (2017).
It seems to me like DC is planning an animated cinematic universe to make up for the live action movies performing poorly at the box office.
Given that there are two major plot lines in this film, I'm a little disappointed. The fights are fun to watch. There were a few times where I was like "ooh.. that had to hurt". The brutality of Doomsday gave DC quite a bit to work with. The Superman/Lois arch was well written. The Credits even drop hints at upcoming DC animated films.
I would recommend buying this movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit despite it feeling like half a story. I look forward to the animated ressurection of Superman.

It's no secret that DC live action movies have sucked more than their animated counterparts. If you want a good Superman film, watch Superman Doomsday. If you want a good Justice League movie, try Gods and Monsters. If you want a good Wonder Woman... ... well, OK you got me there.
Still, the animated films are often much better than their live action counterparts. If you were turned off of the 2016 Suicide Squad, try HtP.
The story starts out showing what they do. The Suicide Squad is taking down Tobias Whale (from Black Lightning). This first mission shows just how expendable they really are. Then the main plot starts. Amanda Waller wants the Suicide Squad to go after the McGuffin...err.... Get Out of Hades Free card. The legend goes, whoever dies with this card on them will skip being in a Zach Snyder movie and go to Heaven.
So, who's she going to call? Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Frost, Bronze Tiger, Captain Boomerang, and Copperhead.
Yes, only a couple of these are A-List villains, but just let it play out.
The story pits them against rival factions looking to obtain the card for their own reasons. What I enjoyed about the story is the tie-in to the Flashpoint Paradox. No spoilers, but lets just say that the tie-in surprised me and was masterfully executed.
Deadshot is the character that gets the most focus. I appreciate how he goes through his own character arc throughout the film. You get the sense that there's more to him than a simple criminal. His complexities lead to some decisions that affect the team.
I must warn Harley fans (of which I am one). Harley is a minor character in this film. While she's there, her role could've been replaced with another villainess without affecting the story much at all.
The action scenes are more graphic than expected. It seems the DC Animated Universe is getting more and more into the hard R material than before. First Killing Joke and now this? Like Deadpool and Logan, the R Rating serves as a vehicle to expand what's possible in the film. Point in fact, the most memorable scenes wouldn't have been possible without a hard R rating.
This is where the movie falls a bit flat. I don't remember much of the action. I remember more of the fights from Superman Doomsday (Rated PG13) than HtP because there were more iconic moments. In this movie, apart from heads exploding and a snide remark to follow, there wasn't much that sticks as being "cool" or " unique".
Never the less, this was a very enjoyable film. I would recommend it.
With a twist ending (that you probably see coming), Suicide Squad: HtP is a great addition to any DC Animated Collection.
Keep an eye on your home with this two pack of D-Link Mini HD Wi-Fi cameras. They have sound and motion detection and can send notifications to mobile devices to let you know when they've activated. These D-Link Mini HD Wi-Fi cameras have night vision to record images in dark conditions.

I have kids. Kids can get into tons of things. Sometimes you need to keep an eye on them from a different part of your house. That's where these came into play.
I was considering picking up some baby monitors. A video-enabled baby monitor would've run $90+ for a single camera. I figured, getting 2 cameras for $90 wouldn't be a bad idea. So, I picked these up.
Setting them up is easy. Just download the myDLink app, then open it. Scan the QR Code on the bottom of the camera to connect. Once your phone connects, you can complete the setup. The cameras will connect to your existing Wireless network.
At this point, you'll notice the myDLink software will begin pushing for you to connect to their network. This means the cameras will authenticate against DLink's site and allow you to access your cameras from anywhere in the world. Given my distrust of exposing my information to the world, I opted not to do this.
So, the cameras are set up now. What do you do? Connect to them, right?
Connecting to the cameras is a test of patience. My Galaxy Note 8 takes 30-60 seconds to connect to the camera. Once connected, the best thing to do is stay connected. I've used these cameras to watch my sleeping infant. They work great.
The boast is 720p resolution. Yes and no. This is 720p at 30FPS, but it's also a low 720p. You're not getting as much detail as you'd expect. While better than 480p, the visuals were a lower bitrate.
The system offers Push Notifications. This means that you'll receive a notification on your Android or iOS device when an alert is triggered. This is true, with a caveat. To activate this functionality, you must sign up for a DLink account on their site. Then you must broadcast the cameras through the internet
Yes, I have serious reservations about doing this.
Overall, it's not bad for the price. If you're looking for a baby monitor, this is much cheaper than anything by VTech, Motorola, and other infant monitor solutions. If you're looking for a security camera, it'll do the trick, but I wouldn't use this as my primary security system.
I would recommend these cameras, but with the understanding that a wired, home security system is a much better solution.
In this acclaimed retelling of the original Metroid adventure, step into the boots of bounty hunter Samus Aran as she infiltrates planet Zebes for the first time, on a mission to take down the Space Pirates and Mother Brain... but this is not the Zebes that you might remember! Metroid: Zero Mission features completely redesigned environments, based on the original maze-like levels, but enhanced with new features like Morph Ball launchers and zip lines. It's crawling with vicious new enemies and bosses, too...This item cannot be returned or refunded, please visit Best Buy Return Policy to learn more.

Huge Metroid fan here. It's my favorite of the Nintendo series. This game delivered... mostly.
What I loved about it was that it was a guided retelling of the original Metroid game. You play through Samus' first encounter with Mother Brain. The game gives you maps and a path from beginning to end. Sweet!!
What I hated was after you defeated Mother Brain. The original Metroid game ends. This game gives you another area to explore. This new area was frustrating and felt very unnecessary.
If you complete the entire game, you can play the original NES Metroid. In that respect, you're getting 2 games in 1.
Metroid is a solid platformer. You start with very little. As the game progresses, you find new abilities and weapons in corridors and lairs. The drive is to get stronger as you progress. Then apply all of your new abilities and honed skills against the end-level challenges.
The game tried to add some cutscenes to tell a more robust story than the original. While I applaud their attempt, it ultimately failed. The gameplay is what kept me engaged.
Despite the long ending to this game, I would recommend Metroid Zero Mission. The game was fun, and a novel way to experience Samus' first outing without having to dig out an original Nintendo.
Walk with dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution for PlayStation 4. This immersive game lets you build and manage your own island, putting you in charge of maintaining order. Use bioengineering to create new types of creatures that can react to the world around them, and choose from three paths for your island. With rich, detailed graphics, Jurassic World Evolution delivers an immersive and enthralling gaming experience.

To start, I wanted to give this a 4.5 star review. Here's why.
Back in 2003, Blue Tongue entertainment developed a Jurassic Park game where you bred dinosaurs and created your own park. This was awesome. The game became a legend. Now, the fun is brought back with JWE (Jurassic World Evolution).
Unlike its predecessor, you start JWE on isla Mataceros. This is the softball thrown to get you into the game. You're given a limited set of dinosaurs that you can breed and a few buildings. The game guides you through how to succeed. It's great to finally have a tutorial.
The interface is much better than before. You have alerts that appear at the top of the screen to keep you abreast of incidents that will lower your park's rating. The shoulder buttons can be used to quickly access ACU and Rangers (which you need for emergencies). The D-Pad gives fast access to different buildings and object placement. There's even a dashboard menu (opened with Square) that tells you everything you need to know at a glance.
It's never been this easy to run a Jurassic World/Jurassic Park.
There are 50+ dinosaurs in this title. Most Dinosaurs are unlocked by excavating fossils. Dinosaurs range from classics like T-Rex and Triceratops to overlooked dinosaurs like Chunkingosaurus and Struthimimus. If you complete the right objectives, you can even unlock both Indominus Rex (Jurassic World) and Indoraptor (Fallen Kingdom).
I have mixed feelings about the Deluxe Dinosaurs sold as DLC. For an additional $12, you can purchase 7 more dinosaurs that were included in the Deluxe downloadable version.
The animation looks super realistic. Dinosaurs walk, socialize, fight, and even hunt in realistic fashions. The only animation complaint I would give is the kills start to follow quickly identifiable patterns. Dinosaurs of a specific build will use the same kill animations. An example is when a velociraptor hunts a goat, the animation is the same as a dilophosaurus (without the frills).
Something unexpected is the story behind the game. There are missions that unlock other islands and content, but these missions also feature dialog between characters. As you listen to the dialog, you start to uncover some of the more insidious secrets to Jurassic World.
Overall, I'd strongly recommend this game. It's a great experience and fun for the whole family.

I grew up as a SEGA Fanboy. I had everything from Game Gear all the way through Dreamcast. I thought for sure SEGA would win the console wars. Sadly, I was wrong.
SEGA then decided to release some of their old titles in multiple collections throughout the years. This all started with the classics on Genesis. It seems that since then almost every SEGA system has had a SEGA Collection. Even PC got a few.
When I found out that the PS4 was getting a SEGA Collection, it was a hard decision for me. I already purchased the PS3 collection and got most of the trophies. Did I really want to sink money into a PS4 collection?
Here's how SEGA gets you. They release these collections with different combinations of games. You are always missing a game or two that are epic, but not represented in the latest collection. What's more is that this is essentially a PS4 port of Steam's SEGA Collection with a few games in and a few games out.
So on to the product.
You start in a game room. All the Genesis games are on a shelf in alphabetical order. You choose the game and watch an animation of it slid into the Genesis. It's charming at first, but after playing the @tGames Sega Systems, I miss just clicking on an option and launching the game.
In addition to the library of games, there are challenges for most games. For Virtua Fighter, you have to win a match while starting with only 30% health and 1 round lost. Unless you've played the game religiously, there's very little chance of completing this challenge.
There are also trophies for a chunk of the games. Some are as simple as collecting a number of potions in Golden Ax to reaching a certain chapter in Shining Force. What bothers me about the trophies is that some seem too daunting to be worth the effort. DO I really want to play through Shining Force until I reach that chapter? What if it's not my style of game?
New to SEGA Collections is the Fast Forward and Rewind options. You can use the shoulder buttons to rewind a game to a previous point to undo a mistake. You can also increase the game speed to skip through cutscenes, text, or other portions of the game you would like to shorten.
The game library is the "largest yet". While true, the question is whether you'll find something you like. The core games are split as follows: RPG's, Strategy, Beat'em Ups, and Platformers.
If you like more than 1 of those genres, you'll find something worth your time. There are also several Genesis ports of arcade titles. Altered Beast is represented as a Genesis game in this collection (while you could unlock the arcade version in the PS3 edition). Then there are games (like Flicky) that are fun for a moment, but obviously products of their time.
Overall, I enjoy this collection. The ability to play online makes it great for those rainy days (or if you just want to relive your childhood online with a friend).
Save the galaxy in Super Bomberman R Shiny Edition for PlayStation 4. Work cooperatively with another player to clear stages, or take on the bad guys yourself and use timebombs to destroy opponents and open up walkways. Super Bomberman R Shiny Edition also has a Grand Prix mode that pits three-player teams against each other.

I've played Bomberman since the beginning. This is mostly more of the same.
The game is a downgrade from Bomberman Ultra as you can only have 4 players instead of 7. This is worth mentioning since the more players, the less predictable matches become making the game infinitely more fun.
What makes Bomberman such a good game for parties is the ease of play. Just place a bomb and run. Since bombs can set off other bombs, the strategy of using another player's bomb explosions against them adds to the chaos.
More players = More Chaos = More Fun
Where this game fails is its lack of options from the start. Players must complete a story mode or multiplayer battles to unlock stuff. For multiplayer you start with 1 level. You must pay 2000-4000 coins to unlock the other levels. You only earn 150 coins per multiplayer match.
If you think that's bad, try earning coins in story. While you get 800-1200 coins per level, should you fail, you have to pay 300 coins to continue the level. Given that the CPU characters are wickedly proficient, it's a tall task.
For multiplayer, Bomberman is one of the best. Low learning curve and easy to win. For story and unlockables, they took a wrong turn.
I would recommend this, but beware of the drawbacks.

This is NOT Lara Croft. This is the story of a generic girl that seeks to find what happened to her father. She does this by rejecting the wealth she inherited, but can somehow afford a trip to a remote Asian island near where her father disappeared.
Alicia Vikander delivers a very plastic performance as the likeness of Not Lara Croft without the personality that gamers fell in love with as a result of the game's 2013 franchise reboot. Instead we get teenage angst in defiance of a paramilitary operation.
While Angelia Jolie managed to give an infectiously good time which translated to fun for the audience, Vikander takes the role too seriously to engage the audience at all.
I seriously regret purchasing the Steelbook copy of this movie. I thought it was going to be good, but was I mistaken.
