Got this for the flexibility over the GOPRO version.
find the suction does not seem to work as well as the GoPro version thus not as practical as I hoped. Ended up using the GoPro version with extra connection pieces to get the angle I wanted. Based on how it stuck to my windshield I would not even think of mounting it on the body of the car or bike.

have been using the wired version on my desktop for years, got this for my laptop. can't beat it when you don't have room to move a mouse about and allows me to turn off the annoying touch pad that my wrists rest on causing erratic mouse movement. Hear comments that i's kinda big to lug around but so is my 15.6" laptop, not an issue for me.

My first stop would be at http://www.crucial.com and i would run the System Scanner which will look at your machine, tell you what you have and what you can have in it.

One click of the wheel moves the matter about 10 lines. I am sure there most be a way to slow tis process down. How do I do it?
go into Settings, select the mouse and you should be able to change the speed, size of the pointer, lines it moves, etc. etc.

When will Logitech make the left hand version of this product?
I have been using this product for many years, absolutely love it. Only thing is that I need to balance the mouse usage between both left and right hands, but there is no left hand trackball as ergonomic as this one. I have been waiting for the left hand version for so long but it never appeared on the market.
doubt they will. there are other trackballs that are either left handed or with a center ball

they make a 'universal' receiver that should work just fine. have used it for other mice.

it will backup some files but a typical hard drive is much larger, thus you'll run out of space.
