Does not work for all disks because it doe not have separate power. Found the hard way that some disks require external AC power to do the copy.

kind of expensive but needed one without a usb transmitter for a special application and this suits the bill. Not as portable as the Microsoft Arc but since space was not a big issue and this works as well at 1/2 the price well worth it.

What's great about it: adds power to the surface
What's not so great: weight and price
more expensive then it should be given the weight and actual extra power it adds.
if you buy it with the surface rt or pro it's not as bad but if your upgrading your keyboard/cover it become a 300 keyboard...
Does not fit the new Surface (well properly since he screen is bigger) but does fit the rt version.

What's great about it: simple, works.
What's not so great: nothing so far
Been using this since XP was replaced years ago. it was the only product I came across that would more both data and programs to the new system - no matter if it's on the same machine or a different one. used it on dozens of machines at work, home, and for others. Zero issues. much faster then reloading all the programs and if you can't find your old disks, a lot cheaper.

One click of the wheel moves the matter about 10 lines. I am sure there most be a way to slow tis process down. How do I do it?
go into Settings, select the mouse and you should be able to change the speed, size of the pointer, lines it moves, etc. etc.

When will Logitech make the left hand version of this product?
I have been using this product for many years, absolutely love it. Only thing is that I need to balance the mouse usage between both left and right hands, but there is no left hand trackball as ergonomic as this one. I have been waiting for the left hand version for so long but it never appeared on the market.
doubt they will. there are other trackballs that are either left handed or with a center ball

they make a 'universal' receiver that should work just fine. have used it for other mice.

Can PNY Attache 3 128GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive be used to backup a hardrive?
it will backup some files but a typical hard drive is much larger, thus you'll run out of space.
