This is the fourth WD drive I've purchased over the years and this one hopefully will be as reliable as all the others. My oldest one (maybe 10 yrs old) does hiccup once in a while and has lost data because of power surges, but now that it's on an APU it still works great. I use this new unit for both backup and data storage for four computers and two external drives, and it still has plenty of room left over. I am pretty certain that this one will be as reliable as the others that I have, and I'd definitely buy another one of these when the need arises.

I bought this because I needed a new beard trimmer, and thought I could use a new electric razor as well, so decided on this 'combination' unit, since it is a wet/dry razor. Well, the beard trimmer works great -- vast improvement over my old trimmer. The razor, however, is really sub-standard. I cannot use it at all, as it leaves a major rash and irritation on my neck. The blades nick the skin, no matter how light or heavy you press down on the skin with it; and I can feel them 'pulling' the hairs, instead of 'cutting' them. I've even tried using shave gel with the razor and the difference is negligible. So, this product is now relegated to my collection as an over-priced beard trimmer. I like that it can be used as a wet or dry shaver, and it charges up quite fast, but I will have to go back to using my old razor. Kind of disappointed me, as I was hoping for better out of this manufacturer.

Got this so that I could upgrade from my integrated GPU and have a unit with it's own dedicated memory (instead of sharing my computer's RAM) for doing hi-res video editing. This product has made a tremendous difference in my computer's performance. Had to return the first one I bought because one of the fans was 'chattering' when it spun, probably a bad bearing; but the replacement has worked great -- I can hardly even hear it running at any speed. Makes editing large hi-resolution videos so much easier, and the games are running so smooth and much cleaner than before. No running out of RAM and stopping/starting. Runs pretty cool even without a system fan in my case. Definitely worth the extra $$ I spent on this one.

Bought this Open Box Buy to upgrade my PSU so I could install a better GPU in my desktop, since my computer came with a small 180W PSU. Seems that no matter what kind of computer you buy, there are never enough USB ports for everything we attach to our computers. This hub works great as an extension of one of my rear 3.0 ports, and I can even chain another hub off this one with very little power loss to save even more. It uses up a extra power outlet, but then I chain usb-powered hubs off this and it works out great for me. Definitely will buy another to use with one of my other USB ports.

I bought this product because Windows 10 does not come with a CD/DVD burner, and I wanted the simplest product available that would just include the burner. I didn't need the movie/picture editors or anything else, since I already have software that I'm comfortable using, so I didn't want one of the more 'all inclusive' software packages. Not only does this product not install properly on Windows 10, the installation process corrupted my user profile and my registry. I had to do a 'restore' to get rid of the program since it would not even properly uninstall; even with the restore, it still left my user profile somewhat corrupted; it also left random files throughout the hard drive. Product support from Roxio/Corel is a joke; they either couldn't or wouldn't help. I'll certainly never buy anything from that company again. Too bad I can't give this a zero star rating, as this software is worthless.

I purchased this TV to use as a computer monitor, since once you get larger than a 25" monitor, you're really only getting a specific-use HDTV anyway. So, this is just a large monitor for me. I have set this up to double as a smart TV, but really don't use it as such. It does get good reception over wifi without a lot of buffering (mostly just in the beginning). The smart TV setup is really confusing, although I finally figured it out after several days. I'm not a big Samsung fan, so I was pleasantly surprised at the great resolution and clarity of the picture and colors. This 720 is almost as good as my 1080 TV.

Bought this as a replacement desktop, and was very happily surprised. Open Box buy, so it was over $100 off regular price, but was certified to be OK. Everything was great except for a small scratch on the side, which didn't matter to me. Though I was initially a little hesitant about the AMD processor, it turns out that I'm really happy with the A10; it is quite a bit faster than I had expected, and handles everything extremely well, without any stalling or locking up. There are only three issues I have with this desktop: 1) the RAM installed, 2) the wifi radio installed, and 3) the graphics processor. This unit is capable of 16 GB of RAM, but it comes with only 12 GB installed, and unfortunately Best Buy will not upgrade that to 16 until after you've made the purchase, even if your are willing to pay the difference in the memory cost, so it costs more to max out the RAM. The wifi radio as packaged is really not much more than just "adequate"; though it is an AC wifi capable radio, it has a maximum speed of 433.5 Mbps on a 5G network, which winds up getting me about 200 Mbps or less over wireless connection on my 300 Mbps network. I have to use an external 6300 adapter to get full speed from my wifi connection. The third drawback is the integrated Radeon R7 graphics chip. This is a shared memory chip, which uses up part of your 12 (or 16) GB of RAM. In order to get the high-end graphics (for more serious gaming, video authoring, etc.), you would probably have to install a new graphic card with its own memory and cooling fans. The computer does not have a big power draw as it is packaged by Lenovo, so unless you are installing a seriously power-draining card, you would probably not have to upgrade the power supply. Overall, though, I'm very pleased (happily so) with this purchase and would recommend it to almost anyone.

I replaced my Belkin N150 router with this newer version N600 router. Although both routers were faster than my internet speed required, the newer N600 actually sped up my home network communication. It also did speed up my internet connection for my wifi-connected devices. They are now running at almost the internet rated speed over WIFI, which usually causes a little speed loss. I have built my entire LAN across/through this router, and have absolutely no problems -- it handles 10 devices through the router and they all communicate with each other seamlessly. The new interface takes a little getting used to, but it works fine, and there's little change from prior versions, except making it more graphically-oriented. Belkin did, however, remove the QOS option on this router, which did help the prior versions speed up the communication when turned off. Really nice feature is the dual-band 2.4/5.0 networks for splitting high-use and less-demanding devices. Another great improvement is a separate guest access, which allows guests to access your internet service with or without a password, but keeping them off of your network of devices. I've had other brands of routers and have had some disappointments, but have never been let down by Belkin. I'd recommend this product to anyone who needs to use this for a home system, and it costs substantially less than comparable routers, too.

Had to replace my Sony Bluray, and decided to give this model a try, since Samsung usually has a decent product. It did well at playing a disc. Also did an OK job of connecting to my home network via DLNA, although it seemed to take a long time to list the video files on my network server and then it seemed like it had to re-read the file list each time I accessed the server, so it sometimes took a long time to get to my video files. I liked the user interface which also allowed me to customize the main menu displayed apps (i.e., Netflix, Hulu, etc). The big problem I had was that I noticed that every time I had a disc in the player, but tried to play a file in another mode (i.e., DLNA Home Network, Internet, Streaming App) the whole unit would vibrate and make a very loud buzzing noise. In order to stop that noise you had to remove the disc from the player every time before using another mode. I returned the unit and exchanged it for another, hoping it was just a manufacturing defect. Well, the second one did exactly the same thing, so it seems like it may be a design flaw in this model. I wound up returning it and purchasing another Sony (which has actually been problem-free). If you can overlook the fact the you need to remove the discs before changing video modes, or if you don't use other video modes, this would be a good puchase for the price. If, however, you use the Bluray like most of us do, this particular unit might not be the way to go. Pay a little more for another unit. I would have some reservations about recommending this unit to everyone.

Sleep mode settings
I plan to use the TV as a pc monitor and I prefer NOT to use the sleep mode therefore:
1) Can you turn the sleep mode OFF?
2) If sleep can NOT be turned off, What is the maximum IDLE time BEFORE the sleep mode automatically starts?

When you say "sleep mode", if you are referring to the sleep timer, that is not turned on unless you specifically set it. If you are referring to the 'standby' mode when the TV is not receiving a signal, that feature cannot be turned on/off, it is automatic; when the TV does not receive a signal from the selected input source, it first displays a message that there's "no signal", then after several minutes the TV goes into standby. This time cannot be set/changed. To restore it to active, it's the same amount of time as turning on the TV, usually about 30 seconds or less on mine. If your computer does not shut down/sleep, and as long as it is sending a signal to the TV, it should not go into standby.
