For serious athletes, the importance of timely and effective recovery gear cannot be overstated, as it significantly reduces recovery time and helps prevent irreversible muscle damage. As an avid runner and member of a training group, I have always emphasized the necessity of a good warm-up and recovery routine. I’ve been a long-time user of Hyperice products, particularly the previous generation Normatec 3 compression boots, which I appreciated for their science-backed technology. The new Elite model, with its integrated system and lack of hoses or control units, makes it an ideal travel companion.
One notable advantage is that the Normatec Elite qualifies for medical expenses and can be purchased using HSA/FSA funds.

This is my first Hisense TV, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! I wouldn't hesitate to add one to each room, but it truly shines in my downstairs bar, enhancing the big game day experience for my guests.
Comparing it to the branded Quantum 4K TVs I own, here’s how it stacks up:
• Mini-LED Technology: The detail and accuracy are phenomenal, especially during high-contrast movie scenes or NFL games. It’s a clear step up in visual quality.
• QLED Display: The colors pop! Whether it’s an action movie or a sports game, the vibrancy and saturation are outstanding, even in well-lit rooms. Watching 4K animal documentaries on National Geographic was an absolute treat—the brightness and vivid colors were stunning.
• High Dynamic Range Support:
○ Dolby Vision: Adds incredible depth and realism, noticeable in movies like "Avatar" or during live sports.

I recently added the new Sennheiser Accentum Plus to my existing collection of Sennheiser headphones, earbuds, and soundbars. Sennheiser has always impressed me with its design and sound quality. As an audiophile, I am constantly on the hunt for the best headphones with unmatched sound quality and features. Sennheiser has been my go-to brand for the best audio quality that doesn't break the bank. The technology is constantly evolving in the headphone space, especially with advanced noise cancellation features. Updating headphones to take advantage of these new features is not a bad idea. This headset is a great mid-range option priced at the lower end but boasts better features and audio quality.
Design, Comfort, and Fit
The headphones are made of plastic with a smooth finish and are lightweight. The headband is padded with large, comfortable ear cups that are not too tight on the head, making them comfortable to wear all day. They feature intuitive touch controls on the right earcup. The controls are very responsive without any lag. The headphones have on-head detection, pausing the music when you take them off, and automatically turn off after a while. I didn't find any IP rating on the headphones so avoid exposing them to dust or water. They support the latest Bluetooth 5.2 version and have quite a bit of connectivity range. They also have a 3.5mm jack for airplane use.

• Podcast setting: The podcast setting on the app enhances voice for clear narration, which is an amazing feature for avid audiobook and podcast listeners like me. This feature also works well with the adaptive ANC setting in noisy environments.
• Sound Personalization Mode: This feature tailors the audio experience to the listener's individual preferences. It allowed me to fine-tune the audio on the Smart Control App Grid to match my sound preferences, dynamically adjusting string and bass volumes for different parts of the track. I am still exploring this feature, but so far, it has provided an immersive audio experience, especially while watching movies with soundtracks.
• Sound Zone: Another setting that lets you choose different settings to match the environment (gym, home, office, etc.) you are in. This feature uses your location to switch to user-defined settings. Though not essential for my use, it's an innovative addition.

Overall, this headset is a standout in the mid-range category, offering advanced features typically found in the higher-end models. Its main drawbacks are the lack of an IP rating and HD Codec support, but these are minor when weighed against its overall performance and value

As a regular user of Philips Norelco OneBlade trimmers, I found the OneBlade Trim and Shave for grooming sensitive areas to be an excellent addition. The SkinProtect blade, with its rounded edges and tip protector, is specifically designed for safety and comfort, ensuring a close shave without the risk of nicks and cuts in sensitive areas like the groin and armpits. It also includes a 3mm body comb for trimming without shaving too closely, which helps prevent irritation. What I particularly appreciate is how effectively it handles both short and long hair, typically needing just one pass. The blades allowed me to maintain my grooming routine efficiently, without concerns about skin damage. It's great for both wet and dry use. The trimmer's battery lasts about 30 minutes, sufficient for multiple grooming sessions, and it took about 8 hours to fully recharge. Based on my experience with the OneBlade, I expect this SkinProtect blade to last at least four months with two shaves or trims per week
Given the safety and comfort it offers at a low cost, owning it is a no-brainer.

The Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL is a solid upgrade from my previous model, boasting some neat new functions. I particularly love the Max Crisp function; it's a game-changer that has rendered my conventional oven and microwave obsolete. Its compact design is perfect for my kitchen counter, and it's spacious enough to whip up a family size meal in under an hour.
I tried making 2 pounds of frozen French fries, without any oil, on Max Crisp mode for 30 minutes, as the manual suggests, and they turned out just as delicious as the ones from a fast-food place, but without all the grease. Remember to give them a shake now and then for uniform cooking. This air fryer's hot air circulation is impressive, taking the heavy lifting out of cooking. From chicken tenders to wings and every dish I've tried turned out perfect with a little experimentation on the different cooking settings. The chicken tenders turned out better than the KFC ones with max crispy settings, crispy outside, tender and juicy inside, all this without having to fry them in oil!
I was also pleasantly surprised by the reheat and dehydrate functions, which are typically tasks for my microwave, but the Ninja Air Fryer did a great job. It's even taken over most of my microwave's duties, including toasting bread perfectly.
It's quieter than I expected, and cleaning is a breeze—the ceramic-coated basket and crisper plate mean nothing sticks. You'll want to keep it away from the wall due to the rear air vent. The new features of the 6-in-1 Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL is a game changer for me as it cut down my cooking time with lot more healthier choices.
I'd definitely suggest giving the new 6-in-1 Ninja Air Fryer a go if you're keen on moving towards healthier meal options without missing the delightful experience of indulging in fast food favorites, guilt-free.

DJI Osmo pocket 3 is a step up from its predecessors on features and design. It is an ultimate companion for vloggers. As a family of content creators and vloggers, we found this very handy and a big upgrade from the bulky camera and video recorders we carried around. We did a few videos to showcase our new apparel design and the video quality was amazing. We were able to recreate the cinematic experience on our video content with a few simple settings on the Osmo 3, and without much editing on the PC. I also used it as a webcam with a USB cable connected to my PC to livestream the video I was capturing to gather some feedback from my team.
The Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo Kit includes several additional accessories - the DJI Mic2 transmitter, a valuable addition for vloggers. With your Osmo pocket 3 placed on a tripod and the SmartTrack feature turned on, you can record while walking around. The kit also comes with a battery handle, mic windscreen, wide-angle lens, mini tripod, and a carrying bag.
Design
The first thing that I noticed is the 16:9 2-inch rotating color OLED touch screen for landscape and portrait mode which makes this device more appealing as you can view the video with enough details on the touchscreen, and easily access the menus on the touch screen. The Osmo Pocket 3 is perfectly sized to be held in one hand for vlogging or conveniently carry it around in your pocket. Personally, I prefer holding it with the extended battery attached, as it provides a more comfortable grip, reducing concerns about accidental drops. The Osmo Pocket 3 charged from 20 to 80 percent in under 20 minutes, making it ideal for capturing videos in an all-day event. I managed to record an 80-minute video in 4K settings and took several pictures on a trip with a 33% battery charge still remaining

The 5D joystick is pretty handy to change settings without having to fumble around with the touch screen. The joystick lets you recenter the gimble, zoom, pan, tilt, and camera orientations with just a few taps. You can easily toggle between record and camera modes on the touch screen menu.

Hands down, this is the device where portability meets performance and creativity knows no bounds and vloggers dream machine. The noteworthy features include the remarkable video quality in all lighting and the autofocus and image stabilization that flawlessly recreates a cinematic experience when viewing the recording on a big screen!

Having owned several generations of iRobot vacuums and other name brand vacuums for over a decade, I didn't even have to think to welcome the J9+ self-emptying and auto-fill robot vacuum and mop into my home as soon as it was released. This consolidates the vacuum and mopping into one unit with a single base, eliminating the need for extra floor space. I noticed several new features on this dual action J9+ Roomba and was amazed on how smart these devices get with each generation, and this is a big upgrade from my J7+ series.
Set-up:
The set-up was a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes to have it detected and configured in my iRobot app. Several options available on the configuration menu for scheduling (cleaning schedule, do-not disturb, and ability to automatically clean when the owned leaves the house -detects owner location via the phone app), setting cleaning preferences (one pass or two pass options, room size clean preferences), child lock, etc.

Performance:
I can surely tell the J9+ Roomba's ability to pick up dirt and debris is at a whole new level as the suction power dynamically adjusted based on the cleaning surface. Its suction power was higher when cleaning thicker carpets which is perfect to get the fine dust and pollen out of the carpets. I usually deep clean my carpets and rugs every other week to get rid of pollen and fine dust as I am allergic to those and J9+ solves this problem with its amazing suction power. I am impressed with its pressure mopping capability, got the stains off the hardwood floor. I still have to wait a few more days for it to learn and prioritize its cleaning mission based on most accessed areas with its dirt detection capability. It should automatically adjust the suction and scrubbing settings along with the cleaning passes to keep the dirt and dust to minimal levels. This alone is enough for me to not worry about manually cleaning high-traffic areas to keep dust and pollen down in my house, and I can confidently retire all other vacuums. Battery life is pretty good, it still had 40% battery left in it after cleaning for 90 minutes.

Map run did an excellent job in mapping my floor plan by detecting the bedrooms, bathrooms, office, hallway, etc., along with the boundary lines, ensuring thorough coverage of the cleaning areas. Smart navigation picked the right directions and lengths to minimize possible runs and also segregated the vacuum and mopping functions.

Hands down, this has the best obstacle detection technology compared to all the name brand ones that I currently own.

Installation and setup were a breeze. It paired with the phone's Bluetooth and seamlessly detected the local Wi-Fi for connectivity via the myQ app. The keypad mount facilitated setting the camera in the desired direction. This was an excellent match for my LiftMaster garage door, as I had never installed a keypad for it before. The device features a rechargeable battery and the option to store videos with a subscription plan if needed. It's well-built, featuring a ruggedized keypad designed to endure both hot and cold conditions.
Features include a unique pin code for each family member, the ability to create temporary codes for service providers with specific time access or access restrictions to the garage, real-time notifications on the phone via the myQ app, two-way audio, real-time video streaming, high resolution providing a good view of the garage area, and excellent night vision. With this visual confirmation, I feel more confident about who is entering and leaving my place, providing a sense of security.
However, I expected the battery to last 3-4 months after a full charge, but it depleted by 20% in just a week with the garage door being accessed 5-6 times a day. This necessitates frequent charging, and accessing the battery requires unscrewing (a tiny security screw at the bottom of the keypad) which can be inconvenient. The battery management system needs improvement, possibly by exploring options to limit recordings and alerts to extend battery life. Looking for potential software updates to extend battery life on the unit. Charging the unit takes about 8-10 hours, will have to get a backup battery to keep the unit running without interruptions. Additionally, the app's alert delivery is a little slow, took about a minute or two to receive the notifications to my phone.
In summary, it's a great unit for someone without a garage keypad, and the built-in security camera is an excellent additional feature. However, the battery drains quickly, and I'm hoping for a software update to improve the battery management system on this unit. Additional features in the app could settings to reduce the number of alerts, especially for high traffic areas. There were some issues with the WiFi signal detection being weak on this device, although it didn't affect the keypad's performance despite the warning.

You can swap the SSD that is on the back (under the kick stand) easily, just like you swap the SIM on a cell phone.

Can you connect your Surface Pro 8 to a big monitor ?
Yes, I have it connected to two 32 inch 4k curved gaming monitors using a dock with a USB C cable running between the dock and the Pro 8 thunderbolt 4/USB C port. You can also directly connect to the monitors using a USB C/thunderbolt 4 ports on the Pro 8. Pro 8 doesn't have HDMI or USB ports.

Do the newer ARLO camera systems still have the 15-30 second lag time from motion in front of cameras and that being relayed to your handheld device or laptop. even when watching "Live"? Don't want to upgrade if lag still exists in new system.
i did see a lag probably 5-7 seconds, definitely not 15-30 sec like the first gen Arlo. It also depends on our home internet speed and cell phone wireless signal strength.

At what distance will the new ultra cameras pick up at night time?
This has quite a bit of range, you can program the "activity zones" on the app. Attached few pic from my front yard, have a big driveway and it did detect cars at the end of my driveway at night

One of my Roku Tv's Wi-Fi is weak.It keeps going into loading and stops what ever is on Tv.Its the the room furthest from where the main WiFi , internet box is.Would this router make this problem go away?
Its a very powerful router and supports 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz speeds. I have 22 devices connected to this router and streamed 4k content on simultaneous devices in a 3500 sq ft home. Just make sure you have the right modem (dual-band). This has a capability to extend your wifi range with Volpo nodes (wi-fi range extenders)
