What kind of battery does it take or does it plug in to charge. How long does a battery last.
4-5 days one charge. Use the GPS and you will be charging it every other day. The battery life is not that good.

Other than getting it wet from washing your hands it is not good idea for it to have prolonged exposure to water. They do not warranty the device for water activities.

Does anyone know how to cut the all day sync off in the fitibit app so all notifications will come through so it doesn't sync all day?

Does it track how many calories you consume
Will the device show how many calories I consumed so far, after I have already entered calories in the app?
It can track them if you enter it on the food log, but the database is limited. I use my fitness pal because the food database is more extensive and it can be synced to Fitbit It will not appear on the device can be seen on your page at Fitbit.

How well will this work with high intensity workouts such as insanity or interval running?
It can track those workouts, but the information will be limited to duration, average heart rate, steps, distance.

what is the GPS tracking?
If I'm lost will someone be able to find my location with this device?
Probably not. GPS is used to track your path as you run or walk and creates a log of it.

I do not see anywhere in description that the cord comes. Not sure if you have to purchase separately or not.

Women can wear the device, but the common complaint is that it is bulky and clunky on small wrists. It is made for both men and women.

Does it tell real time and can it be charge in other Countries where the voltage is different?
The time is changed and set on the web page where your setting are stored or if you use your phone, you can address the settings there on the app. The charger is USB on one end and Fitbits propriety connection on the other. That is the only way to connect and charge it as far as I know.
