Insignia - 20W USB-C Compact Wall Charger for iPhone - White
Summary:
Super compact wall charger with umph!
Pros:
* Small form factor is among the smallest I've seen for chargers with this wattage.
* 20 Watts of power is enough to charge some of the most demanding of devices, quickly.
Use:
We like to keep chargers in a few spots to ensure that we and guests always have a way to charge their devices. Given the increased ubiquity of USB-C (finally), we're always on the lookout for chargers that don't take up too much space and that can be easily transported. We primarily use this to charge our iPad Pros (11" and 12") as well as our larger USB powwer banks (batteries). We also use it to charge our various digital cameras and other accessories like controllers, earphones, and ear plugs. Because its more compact than the adapters includes with many of our devices (including our iPads), we keep this with us when we travel. Just fold in the prongs and store in your pocket, purse, armrest, etc.

Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB PS Wireless Amplified Headset
Summary:
Stylish and wireless headset for gaming quietly and privately.
Pros:
* Svelte design. The headset looks great. The form matches its function.
* Comfortable. The headset is comfortable and light weight. Normally, headsets can collect heat and can get tiresome to have on due to weight. Not these. They're comfortable enough to keep on for a good gaming session.
* Convenient microphone. The microphone boom raises and lowers. When lowered, the microphone is on. When raised, it is off.
* Plug and play. Plug the receiver dongle into the PS5 and you're done.
* Great sound quality. The audio on this unit is great. Audio feels spacial even though its stereo. Creepy when playing spooky games like Resident Evil.
Cons:
* Storage. I wish only that the headset could collapse into itself for easier storage.
Use:
I used these playing Destiny 2 in cooperative mode. It worked well and is a lot easier and more comfortable than our other headsets. Played Resident Evil 2 and the creepy bass from Mr. X stomping around can be felt. This means I can play with the volume up while the rest of the household is sleeping. Nice!

Linksys - Hydra 6 - AX3000 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router
Summary:
Great entry level mesh router from a trusted brand.
Pros:
* Form factor. The size and footprint of the router are just the right size. The angles aren't necessary, but it is functional. It should fit and look great anywhere you place it.
* Easy to read/see ports, descriptions and status lights. Dedicated power switch.
* App setup. Bluetooth connectivity is used by the app to power your setup experience. It works well enough and translates to ease of setup. The unit can be up and running in about five minutes for a new setup. Looking to replace an existing router? No worries, just turn off your old router and use the same SSID network name for the router and password. Your devices should reconnect automatically.
* Simple app interface. Good for the uninitiated. I prefer to use the router's own internal web management interface for more advanced options and configuration.
* Performant. I've owned previous Linksys routers before they've always been workhorses with a long lifespan. I am getting most of my ISP promised speed through this device and it performs just as well, or better than the mesh router that precedes it.
Cons:
* App setup. The app takes too long and if you have minor timing issues, you can be forced to repeat long timed steps for no reason. BUT! It is sleek, simple, and great for first timers.
Use:
I used this as a replacement router for a recently failed unit (not Linksys). The unit comes in at an attractive price point and holds its own quite well. Easy to setup and all of my devices started connecting and working within minutes of configuration. Linksys is a trusted brand for me so if you're looking to replace an older or malfunctioning router on a budget, this is a good entry point. This model is advertised to cover 2,000 sqft, so if you need additional coverage don't forget you can always add more nodes!
Note:
I've been running the unit for a little under a week. Though I haven't had a need for massive file transfers, etc., this week - I have been making extensive regular use of streaming, and PC gaming. All experiences are what I'd expect from a brand like Linksys. I've included a few screenshots of perfunctory test results. My internet plan is only 300 mbps.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II
Summary:
My favorite, most comfortable, highly performant ear buds!
Pros:
* Comfortable. These units slide into your ears a little bit differently than others I've used. Net result is a secure and very comfortable (almost unnoticeable) fit.
* Quiet. The ambient sound noise cancellation is quite amazing. It works well and the pass-through mode allows you to be more aware of your surroundings as needed.
* Sound quality is amazing. I haven't experienced ear bud audio like this. The fidelity and performance are stunning. When I first put them in and played a few of my favorite songs (various genre), I closed my eyes, and I was immersed in a rich, balanced experience. The bass, superb.
* Bose Music App. The app lets you control listening mode (noise cancellation, etc.), as well as other functions. Once setup, it is easy to use.
* USB-C. Though basically ubiquitous, the USB-C charging port means that I can reuse chargers/cables from my myriad of USB-C devices.
Cons:
* Earbud case shape. The bottom of the charging case is rounded. While this is a typical shape, it means that you can only lay it down on its back. Pairing/updating this unit with the lid open can be difficult without awkward positioning/holding in hand.
* Set up using included QR code. The code took me to a page not found error. Oops! Don't worry, just download the Bose Music app from your phone's ecosystem store.
* Bose Music App. After about 5 minutes and several Bluetooth pairing attempts, the earbuds were finally detected by the Bose Music app. Within a few seconds, the app began to transmit an update for the ear buds. Cool, but way more effort than should be expected.
* Packaging. As an eco-conscious consumer, I noticed the unusually bulk included booklet that didn't even include use instructions. Seems a wasted opportunity to conserve.
Use:
Put them in your ears, close your eyes and enjoy. These are truly a treat to use. There were a few hiccups on setup, but nothing that was a problem and all certainly worth the experience.

Shark - WANDVAC System Pet Dry Bagless Cordless
Summary: Compact workhorse for small jobs.
Pros:
* Workhorse. This vacuum has a surprising amount of suction power. It works well.
* Vortex tunnel dustbin accumulates dust/matter efficiently and makes cleaning a snap.
* Stand. The charging stand is nice. It's nice not to have to reach for the charging cord and find a place where the device won't fall over.
* Easy to use. Use of this device is pretty simple and intuitive.
* Battery seems appropriately sized for the power and longevity of the unit.
Cons:
* Stand. The stand is also its weakest property. Why doesn't it have a storage slot for all of the attachments instead of just one?
* Stand. It would have been nice for there to be a wall-mount option for the stand. I will be using it primarily as a wand vac because of its size. So, it would be nice to just "hang it up." Unfortunately, this means that to charge it, I'll need to transform it to full vacuum mode.
Use:
This unit is a nice size. If you have a small space, this vacuum may meet your needs. I have a corgi that sheds quite a bit whether he is well groomed or not. Using this in wand mode with the rotor attachment makes cleaning tight spots a breeze.

Hover-1 - Jive Electric Folding Scooter with 16 mi Max Opera
Summary:
Great compact scooter with a decent range and expected features.
Pros:
* Compact. Looks like they didn't waste space or weight with anything you don't need.
* Decent specs. Maximum range of 15 miles and a top speed of 15 mph is surprising. I'm not sure if this is inline for the price point, however.
* Svelte. This looks clean and attractive (I have the black model).
* LED lighting/headlamp. The LED footboard is neat, and they make you more visible in the evenings. The headlight is cute and functional.
* Good brakes. The brakes are great. I forgot to use them when learning to ride the scooter - mistake... you don't come to a stop so easily with your feet - and you're more likely to get hurt.
* Display panel. The power button and display panel show what it needs to and the power button is used to cycle between modes.
* Included bell. Its trivial, but useful. Brrring your way as you roll up near someone with ease.
Cons:
* Assembly. It wasn't hard to assemble (i.e., it is intuitive), but I had some trouble with the screws at the top where the handles meet the column. I feel like the handles aren't super tight, but I can't tighten them further without fear of stripping the screws.
* Charging cable. Why proprietary cables? This brick/cable look flimsy. The charging port isn't easily accessible. Why not put the port at the handlebars? Why not use USB-C? Or magnetic cable (Mag Safe type)? I feel this is the weakest point of the unit and the port or the cables are likely to wear out before the scooter.
* Power button. I already see the paint from the On/Off pictogram rubbing off. I hope that is all that wears out so soon.
Use:
We take this thing for little joy rides around the neighborhood. We also use to give our corgi some exercise when we're not in the mood for a run/jog. He runs right alongside and sticks close. For 400$, I'm not sure if I wanted/expected more, but I feel like this is worth the money.

Alienware - m17 R5 17.3" FHD Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti - 1TB SSD - Dark Side of the Moon
Summary:
Hefty yet sleek and capable gaming laptop.
Pros:
* Svelte. No mistaking this for any other brand of gaming laptop. Alienware through and through.
* Packed with Power. Sure, this isn't a 3080 chipset, but it is close enough for my budget.
* Adequate connectivity and options: webcam, USB-C, RJ-45, HDMI, etc.
* Command Center custimization works great.
* Great cooling. This unit seems to disappate the head quite well. I played several games at max settings for a while and my wrists remained comfortable. Sometimes, on smaller 15" units, the heat can be a bit much.
* Though this is 3070, I get usable frame rates for my games at max settings with ease.
* This is a 17" laptop. It is heavier than their 15" offering - not a con - but certainly something to think about. It really makes good use of form factor.
Cons:
* Command Center can be a little intrusive. I suggest they create a tutorial to explain what it is and how to use it/disable it.
Use:
My partner has an Alienware x15. The unit gets really hot, but plays games quite well. Same GPU, different CPU. I needed something just a bit larger for my needs. So I figured this unit might be a good fit. I'm glad I gave this AMD proce a try, because it has performed quite well so far.
I've played the following games on this unit so far. I'm including frame rates in open/ motion areas at max settings.
World of Warcraft: 150 FPS+
Destiny 2: 177 FPS+
Doom Eternal: 134-200 FPS+
Additionally, this unit features Dolby Vision plus Atmos. I can't share videos that would do justice, but the images and sound actually look and sound great.

PROS:
* Powerful. Both the vacuum and the mop have great power. They move through surfaces with ease and leave a track of cleanliness in their wake.
* Smart. The mapping features of both products is fantastic! I love being able to schedule just a single room or all. Additionally, I love that you can have the lop follow up a vacuuming schedule automatically.
* Capacity. The Roomba’s ability to empty its bin into the larger bin means I don’t have to empty a robot every single day. I have a corgi and it would have been a chore (well, it was until I replaced the older vacuums with this new one).
* App. I think the app works well. I feel the tabs are a little wonky, but it allows you to do everything you need quite easily.
* “Works With” works well. I use the Alexa integration. While it does have its usual hiccups like refusing to “start the toaster” when I asked her to “vacuum the living room,” the integration does work well. I have a Roomba on each of the carpeted floors, and I do wish it was easier to activate them rather than have Alexa enumerate them and force me to use numbers (even with distinct names).
* Packaging. No wasteful packaging. Enough to protect your expensive vacuum and mop, and nothing more.
CONS:
* Capacity. The mops capacity is wanting. Why isn’t it larger? Like the pad, the reservoir, etc? Why does it squirt water each time it advances only an inch?
* Alexa integration works, but could use some work by not requiring such a verbose command pattern.
USE:
I have two schedules. One vacuums all spaces every MWF and then mops. The second schedule only vacuums the carpeted areas. Love it.

Philips Sonicare Power Flosser & Toothbrush
Summary:
Powerful and refreshing oral hygiene tool.
Pros:
* Modest form factor. I've owned older versions of the power flosser and they have tended to be on the larger side. This unit is just large enough without being too much of a vanity hog. It also has a clear lid rather than a bulky accessory lid that blocks light. So visually, it occupies less space.
* Flosser function is fantastic. The power flosser is awesome! The included heads and control are an improvement over the older versions of this tool. When my last unit finally died, I stopped using a power flosser. I had forgotten about how great my gums felt after a flossing session. Wax strings just aren't the same thing. This allows me to target areas of my mouth more precisely and apply just enough pressure to dislodge stuff with out awkward contortions.
* Toothbrush! This unit is an upgrade for me because this unit comes with a power toothbrush. I've always owned a power toothbruth and so being able to consolidate to a single unit was certainly welcome. Being a Soniccare toothbrush, it works just as well as you would expect.
Cons:
* I don't know how I would improve upon this device. I don't really have any complaints.
Use:
Flossing and brushing your teeth has never been easier with no excuses thanks to this integrated device.

Ray-Ban - Stories Wayfarer Smart Glasses 50mm - Shiny Olive/Transitions G-15 Green
Summary:
Thoughtfully designed smart glasses.
Pros:
* Transitions. Indoor/outdoor lens transitions work well. Not too fast or slow. Similar to my prescription transitions.
* Audio quality. The audio quality is good. It is better than basic brands, but not up to par with brands like Bose. They lack some bass. They will still let you enjoy audio while on a stroll or on a bus or plane provided the volume isn't up too high. You'll need to use an iOS device for this to work as expected, in our experience.
* LED positioning. The status LEDs for various functionality are clever. The one on the inside to let you know what is going on, and the one on the outside lets those you may be observing that you're recording.
* Quality. The build quality is great. In true form, Ray-Ban doesn't disappoint. These are nice-looking pairs of glasses. I'm going to try and get them fit for prescription lenses through participating optometrists.
* Fit. The frames fit well. I wish they had a way to elevate frames from my face. I have to use pad inserts to accomplish this; otherwise, they can leave marks on my nose. They may not be as light as I think.
* Case. The included charging/carrying case is clever. I don't like the curved design, but it serves its purpose well. It provides great protection and charges the glasses with ease. Just put them in the case and off they go. This is different from competing lenses that require you to plug a micro-USB cord into the frame of the glasses - not fun.
* Image and video quality. Surprisingly, the image and video quality are exceptional. Video recordings look as if there is some optical image stabilization going on. They are quite smooth.
Cons:
* Does not work well with Android. We had issues pairing the RB Stories with our Android phone. Really annoying issues that we still don't quite understand.
* Android App/functionality. The Android app, though identical in layout to iOS, just works -sometimes-. It is annoying that it doesn't always identify the glasses are in proximity or ON or connected (despite control panels showing them "connected"). We couldn't get any audio to play through the frames.
* "Hey, Facebook" is confusing. She does respond to commands well enough, but the scope of the DA is limited to the glasses, and being paired with a phone doesn't seem to augment functionality. Commands are also delayed by a second or a few. "Take a picture" is not instantaneous. By the time the picture is taken, the subject or scene will likely have changed. The same goes for kicking off a video recording. Manual controls work faster and are more or less instantaneous.
* Battery. I'm really not sure what to think of this. These are among the first glasses with cameras that work as well as they do, but the battery dies quite quickly. In fact, I'm observing about a 10% drop every 10-30 minutes. This is taking only a few pictures and a few video clips.
* Video recording. The video recordings only capture about 30 seconds worth of video. Why not longer? You have to plan recordings well in advance to be able to capture whatever it is you're looking to capture. Particularly since recordings don't start immediately.
* App (iOS/Android). The app is basic and it isn't organized very well. It works, when it works, but it just doesn't stand out and I'm never excited to use it. Limited settings also make this app less useful for transferring images and videos from the glasses to your phone.
* Configuration. You can lower LED brightness, but you can't turn them off altogether, the same goes with "clicks" for photo and video taking. This is fine as a default, but we really should be given the option.
* Facebook. This product was made in partnership with Facebook. I have concerns about this as they are notorious for activity tracking.
Use:
We used this device initially with an Android device. It was so annoying to set up and use. Once configured, it wasn't consistent and the app would crash or disconnect. Restarting the app sometimes helped. Just strange.
We configured it for use with an iOS device after that terrible experience (iPhone 12 Max Pro). This is where the product shined. The app and glasses worked as expected. Paired right up. Frames were detected immediately. Sync happened flawlessly. AND AUDIO PLAYBACK WORKED.
Note:
We love these frames. We lament we can't use them without our Android device, but we were only testing out Android and so aren't that broken up by it. We love the frames so much that we're considering getting prescription lenses for the frame.
If you want a svelte pair of audio glasses that can take short clips or snap pictures without your phone, this device is for you. We consider the camera a novelty feature and not something we'll use much as setup/execution time is too long. But a nice pair of sunglasses, with transitioning lenses, and some audio are definitely useful.
I realize total anonymity is nearly impossible with connected devices. But I do my best to "choose" what risks and exposure I'd like. This product is developed in partnership with Facebook. The cost and their tracking practices make me weary despite the overall positive impression of the product. For this alone, I would not recommend it to friends that also carefully monitor their online presence.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it need to be connect to waterline

No. Water is placed in the built-in reservoir or an attached side-tank. Doesn't seem like it would be an issue to have plumbed, but isn't marketed or designed for that.

 BISSELL - CrossWave Max Wet/Dry Cordless Multi-Surface Cleaner - Black/Pearl White
BISSELL - CrossWave Max Wet/Dry Cordless Multi-Surface Cleaner - Black/Pearl White
Clean hard floors and rugs with this BISSEL CrossWave Cordless Max multisurface wet/dry vacuum. The multisurface design vacuums and washes floors simultaneously, and the powerful battery offers up to 30 minutes of use per charge. This BISSEL CrossWave Cordless Max multisurface wet/dry vacuum includes a docking station that charges the battery and automatically cleans out dirt and debris.

Does this unit shampoo each time you vacuum? Or is there a mode you can select when you just want to vacuum and not get the carpet wet?

If you only want to perform a "dry pass," you can. Just don't hold the trigger. The trigger releases the cleaning solution.

I'd advise having a robot vacuum or another lighter vacuum to go over home first to capture bulk dry mess (daily). I use this strictly when I need to wash the floors and carpets (at least weekly).

How is this wet/dry vacumm with long dog hair? Does it get caught in that tiny filter or does it filter through to the dirty water ?. I have to vacumm balls of hair everyday.

If you plan on running this daily, then it probably wouldn't be a problem.

I have robot vacuums that run daily in the mornings. I use this only after they have run so that they capture the bulk of dry mass/ fur.

I have a corgi and his fur would very easily overwhelm any vacuum if it wasn't kept after daily. Also, the head on this mop might get clogged without a pre-vacuum.

do it have a fond so to speak to be able to get into corners and reach for ceiling molding cleaning?

If you're asking if there is an extension attachment that lets you clean ceilings, then no. There is not.

What is a AAAA battery? Is it replaceable?

Hi, AAAA is a super slim even smaller version of an AA or even an AAA battery. You don't find them as common in stores because they are pretty niche. You might be lucky to find them at your Best Buy.
