The Surface Pro 3 got it right. FINALLY it's both a tablet and a laptop that exceeds expectations of both formats, and merges them seamlessly into a form factor that is as convenient as it is fun to use. I've replaced my workplace laptop with this Surface Pro 3, and use it for personal entertainment as a tablet at home. Simply mindblowing that this one small device does both things so effectively. I really wanted to like this mouse -- it looks like the Apple Magic Mouse, is sleek on the desk at work, and travels well. However, it frequently loses its Bluetooth connection with my computer (a Microsoft Surface Pro), and has difficulty discerning left/right clicks at times. Other than that, it is better than a wireless USB mouse, and I bought it when it was on sale; so I'm mildly happy with it.

Difference between new and old
What is the difference between this one and the older one?
This set is sleeker, with a smaller footprint. It also pairs more quickly, and doesn't seem to succumb to the same problems with pairing that I encountered with the old set. Much improved.

Do you have to set this up with the router or just plug it in and it picks it up?
I don't have access to my router (comes free with rent for my building) and have a poor signal where I have to have my window open and sit right up next to it to get a signal since it is far away. Will this work to boost it or do you have to set it up with the router??
Having access to the router makes setup much easier, but can boost a signal if you just set the booster up on its own. You will need the password from the router though. Good luck!
