We watch over the air tv ( no cable). Every week, for some strange reason, we would lose the signal. We are about 70 miles outside Boston.
We purchased this amplifier. Plugged it in , and have a much more reliable signal. I think we lost the signal on one channel once for a few minutes. Other than that we get 28 great channels. NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, FOX, and some independent Chanel's . Unit is easy to install.
Takes about ten minutes.

We broke from direct tv and added an antenna on our roof. We got 28 channels, all the major networks. We missed some of those network channels. This is were the Roku 3 came in. It connects to the HDM1 port on your tv and wireless to your house network. Get internet channels now on our tv. Thru Roku we added SlingTV which gave is 22 channels. HGTV, DISNEY, CNN, ESPN,ESPN2, Hitory, lifetime and more.

This unit was easy to assemble and does everything I wanted it to do.
We currently are pulling in 28 channels over the air. We get all the major networks in HD. WE LIVE in the country about 64 miles west of Boston.

How to prevent it from shutting off my tv?
This antenna causes my tv to turn on and off constantly, about every 10 minutes it will shut off and turn back on. How can I stop this from happening?!
You may be losing you signal. Try relocating your antenna and/or adding a signal amplifier.

Not sure where you live but just try it. Remember best buy has a 15 day return policy. If it works for you, great. If not , bring it back

Can I wire into existing directv cable and do I need a converter
We used our direct tv wire. I disconnected the wire from the direct tv antenna on my roof, added a male adapter, then ran the wire from my new antenna and connected it to the male adapter on our direct tv wire.
Also I looked in our basement and removed a direct tv amplifier that they it in. I added another male adapter where the amp was and joined the wire together. Everything works fine. I had read that some people had to remove their direct tv splitter and replace it with one from Walmart. I did not have to do that.

can I mount this antenna in the attic
Depends on your location. I am 65 miles away from Boston. I tried my attic first and could only get 10 channels. When I went outside it picked up 28 channels. Remember this is a directional antenna. If your TV image is broken up , just lose the clamps and move your antenna a little

installation instructions for clearstream 4v antenna
I have cable and internet from same company. What do I need to do to drop cable company and install you antenna instead? Have 4 tvs, all flatscreen. What equipment do I need to buy and can I install it myself ( I assume instructions would be a part of antenna purchase, but maybe not, Please help!
You can contact your cable provider and drop the TV and keep the Internet. You will be unbundling.
