Purchased this on 1/29/16. Very simple initial set-up which included connecting to my wife. Easy to use and very nice remote. For the cost, this was a great buy.

I bought this TV on 1/29/16. I have not been able to stream movies from Netflix or Amazon (the only one's I subscribe to) as the smart TV features do not work. After several calls to Sony, they determined an internal part was defective and needed to order a replacement. It has been almost 1 month since purchase and the TV has not been repaired. Sony has been good with keeping me up to date via email. The part they need is on back order and they will let me know when it arrives and will schedule the service company to repair the TV and make sure it is working properly. Currently, I am only able to watch TV as the smart features do not work. I will update this review with final comments after repair.

Does it play DVD-Rom disks for audio?
I've a few songs saved in DVD disks in DVD-ROM format. I can play them in my Sony VAIO PC, but not with Sony DVD Player model: DAV-C990. Can this player model: BDPS 3500, play them?

How fast does your internet connection speed have to be for proper streaming
I have Comcast wifi with 150mb.
According to Netflix and Amazon, for high quality HD movies, they need a solid 25mb to stream without buffering. My movies always buffered. I called Comcast and they said that my wifi was not the #1 priority to receive the highest dowload speeds and they needed to change my billing code from "B" to "E" and change the wifi channel from channel 1 to channel 11 which now gives me the hightest download speeds. After this change, I do not have any buffering.

it says there is a PC Input, where is it located?
All of the input/output jacks are located on the back of the TV, none on the front.

The speakers on this TV are the best i've had on any TV I've owned. The spoken word is very clear.

I have Wifi also and wasn't sure how easy it would be to connect. Once you follow the easy setup steps and turn on the TV, it automatically guides you through the process. It detected I had wifi and all I had to do was enter my password for my wife and it connected automatically.
