I use it to backup a Mac system, and to store pictures that you can access from both a Mac and a PC. The price is great, the speed is great, and the capacity is great. On top of it you can encrypt using the software it comes with, and only you can access those encrypted files. Again, this password protection works on both Mac and PC - which is why I am so excited about it.
I already have three of them (bought them at different dates, hence they have different sizes), all USB 3.0 and they are all great.

Great quality screen, fast, and very lightweight. Be prepared to "google" on how to do things on a Mac if you never used one before. Some things work differently on a Mac than on a Windows/Linux machine.

At first I used the phone as a smartphone and it was rather slow. The battery could not hold a full day of charge - lots of apps were updating and this used a lot of battery power.
Once I removed all the unnecessary apps. and only use the phone as a regular phone, the battery lasts 2-3 days easily.

Not a bad product, but I wish it had a better lane assist. The lane assist in this product is very similar to the one I have in another Garmin GPS that I own now for a few years. Garmin is still my favorite GPS manufacturer.

How do I transfer pics from iPhone to my passport? Is a special cable needed ?
