I'm a 44 year old man, but also a collector of all things Spider-Man as he has been my favorite super hero since I was a kid and had Spiderman Underoos. This Sphero Spider-Man definitely isn't perfect - it would be better if it had always listening and could be triggered by his name and would be a LOT cooler if it had something like a way to connect and send commands to Alexa for home automation. But alas, this is just a really cool TOY, not a complex smart assistant. And as a toy it is pretty awesome. The LCD eyes and perfect Spidey voice are really what make this. [Side note: My first one had an issue with the eyes where whenever they were supposed to be wide-opened white - their screens were garbled with white/black lines - I had to return it and get a second one which works fine.]
He doesn't always hear commands correctly - again, wish they had connected him to Amazon or Google for speech recognition - would have been much better - but overall he gets things right enough to be able to have fun. Since I'm an adult and since he isn't a "smart assistant" I don't spend a lot of time interacting with him the way a kid likely would. I leave him on guard mode to get funny phrases when he detects motion in the office and occasionally I'll have him tell me a joke or a story. It's definitely a fun toy. Just keep in mind it is a TOY and is only somewhat smart.

These work so much better with an iPhone than other other form of wireless bluetooth earbuds. Like most things Apple makes, they are intuitive to use and have all the features you'd want them to have. They sound great. No issues connecting and keeping a connection. No issues with drop outs on sound. Sound is perfectly synced with games/videos. Earbuds are so comfortable you forget you have them in. Well worth the money!

Fairly easy setup - not the simplest in the world though. But once you get it set up, it works great with Alexa. Allows us to control our Receiver, TV, TiVo, Bluray Player, etc. Love it!

Got this as an add on to my other echo devices to set in the dining room by the door. Not something you'd want to play music through directly, but it's plenty loud enough for voice commands and you can connect to a bluetooth speaker if you want better sound.

Player has issue - Loud Spinning Noise w/Sony Disc

Aside from the major noise issue, the player works great. However, the loud annoying spinning noise issue ruins this player. If you search the internet forums you'll see this is a known issue with the player. For some reason, with Sony Blu-Rays the player will randomly start making a really LOUD spinning noise. It may last 5 minutes or 15 minutes. It will eventually stop, but may start again at some other point in the movie. With my super loud surround sound system if it was happening during an action scene, I could still hear it but not terribly annoying - however, if it's a "normal" scene or a dialogue scene the noise is so loud it can be heard across the room. It seems to only happen on Sony Branded Blu-Ray disc so possibly something to do with the codecs they use on their blu-rays or something. The movie still plays fine - you just have this really loud whirring sound which is very annoying during a movie. For this reason, I would not recommend this player.

This is a great movie made even better by the use of 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos Surround. To really get the benefits of this disc you'll have to have a 4K HDR Blu-Ray Player (MOST 4K players are NOT HDR - there are only 5 or so of those available currently) as well as a TV capable of HDR. Again, most 4K TV's are NOT HDR TV's. In order to get the advantage of Dolby Atmos sound you'd have to have a Receiver capable of Dolby Atmos and a Dolby Atmos Speaker setup.
If you just have a 4K Player and 4K TV but not HDR, you won't notice that much difference than the standard Blu-Ray but there will be some. HDR and Dolby Atmos are what really make this specific disc set better than the normal Blu-Ray.
Highly recommended if you got the right equipment - excellent use of sight and sound!

Are you limited in the app on how many devices can be programmed. I don't plan to use the remote, I want to use this with Amazon Echo instead. Seams like it should have unlimited if you don't have to worry about how many programmable remote buttons.
Read my review for info on Amazon Echo integration. It's okay, but VERY limited at the moment - not as great as they make it sound. And you are limited to controlling 8 devices with this. However, direct integration "Alexa, Turn on TV" only works to do just that - turn on equipment for specific purpose (like "watch a movie" to turn on tv/receiver/bluray or "turn on fire stick" to turn on tv/receiver/fire stick and go to right input). Extra Alexa Skill app allows you to say "Alexa, tell Harmony to..." and then adds only 4-5 more commands. That's it. No ability to create custom commands which is what i was expecting.

What accessories go with this device? Is there a pen that can be used? My Surface has a pen and I think I would be lost without it....
You can buy/use a standard stylus with this, but it does not have the special "stylus use detection" system that allows the tablet to ignore your hand touches and only react to the stylus. So this will not provide the same stylus functionality you're used to with the surface.

Can this device run Microsoft Office? How do you install it then if so?
Microsoft makes Android Apps for all their products. You don't install "Office" per se, but on the Google Play Android App store just look for Microsoft and you'll find an app for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes, and more from Microsoft designed specifically for Android.
