What's great about it: Overall several great features for a 2011-2012 build
What's not so great: price/value for parts
I like IBUYPOWER I really do. BestBuy also has normally decently priced IBUYPOWER systems. I own two IBUYPOWERS purchased from BestBuy myself so I should know.
Let's start with the case dimensions as always.
Height 20.9 inches
Width 8.5 inches
Depth 20.3 inches
The height, width, and even the depth is excellent dimensions. This still mid tower case is a NZXT Phantom series case. Most likely a 410 series. With the current dimensions you should be able to fit in really any gpu you desire into this build. This includes even the new AMD R9 290X if you so desired. The case overall you can get for about $100 normally.
The cpu is what kind of disappoints me. Don't get me wrong an I5-4th generation is an excellent choice especially for the mid level gamer. This card is quite closely ranked to the I5-4570k which is one of the most sought after 1155 cpu's. Why they would make this an intel board and jack the price because of it so much astounds me. You could had put an 8320 in here with a similarly priced AM3+ mobo and had a better cpu for a cheaper price. For the intel fans though I will give you the benefit of the doubt and admit that it probably was a judgement call as it saved the pc from becoming $975 by using a 4670k. Either way the cpu is about $190-200 normally.
Now let's go to the gpu. The gpu is what REALLY matters in a gaming machine. The gpu will have like the texture quality and all of that and in high graphical intensive games this is what helps. Don't be fooled by retailers who say "oh yeah this has 32 gb of memory" WRONG. That doesn't mean it's good for gaming.
So let's get started. What can I say about the GTX 650? The card can average from about $90-150 depending on the brand. For the most part benchmarks show that the gpu is an earlier dated card. The card just does outperform the 7750 Radeon. Here is some generic benchmarks and other information listed below for the gpu.
The 650 is pretty much a GT 640 re-labeled as a GT650 but with GDDR5 instead of GDDR3. GDDR5 being, currently the best stuff for gaming at the moment! This card cannot sli.
Please NOTE that the card has
-Two Dual LInk DVI Ports
-A MINI hdmi port so youw ill need a mini hdmi cable!
-and if the card is a Gigabyte it may have a vga connection. (sometimes companies like IBUYPOWER use whatever they have in stock so the pictures you see on BestBuy may not be 100% accurate)
Benchmarks:
Batman - Arkham City at 1920x1080 at max settings with aliasing can easily stay at 30-40 FPS. (love the game!)
Battlefield 3 - The gpu starts to have trouble while playing this game at max settings with aliasing. At 1920x1080 you are going to be looking at about 15-30 FPS.
Max Payne 3 - at 1920x1080 you are going to see about 25-40 FPS at any time depending on explosions etc. Now, however, I kind of disagree with this because I own a 7850 and a lot of times even I can stay at 40 FPS at about mid settings on a lower resolution so I do have to question this benchmark somewhat.(great game by the way if you ever interested in purchasing games)
Elder Scrolls vs. Skyrim - You can expect about 25-35 FPS at 1920x1080. The gpu does seem to stay in the lowest ranking sector in a few of these compared to the 7750 even though technically it is a little better than it.
World of Warcraft - You can expect around 15-30 FPS on this game at 1920x1080.
So overall, the gpu is by no means "the bomb": so to speak but it isn't "horrible" either. If you don't mind not being able to play on the highest settings but still want to see some textures. This may be a good option for you. You should always keep in mind disabling anti aliasing always increases your FPS anyway. One thing I would like to say though is that with as little power as this card draws there are two items I would like to possibly point out.
1) most likely the psu isn't as large as you might think due to the power draw being so little. I can imagine this probably has either a 300 watt or a 400 watt psu. You may wish to consider upgrading the psu if you ever wish to upgrade the gpu for better gaming.
2) One going point about it being so little power drawn from it is that the heat from it won't be like some other notorious nividia gpu's that can get hot like crazy.
So enough of an essay on the gpu! Now let's jump to the optical drives and storage devices.
This has an ssd in it and also a hard drive. The hard drive is going to be a pretty basic 7200rpm 1tb hard drive. Should be plenty for your needs really. The SSD is going to be a gem in this machine though. The SSD being so large will be able to hold at least your more "prized" games on it for faster load up. The hard drive most likely costs about $60-70 and the SSD was probably about $80 on a good.
So we have discussed the case, the cpu, the gpu, and also the storage devices. So what now?
Let's talk about the pus. As I did mention earlier the psu is probably going to be a non marked up 400 watt psu. IBUYPOWER has confirmed this in their retail machines on the BestBuy forums if you go do a search for it.
I am unsure as to which psu brand they are going to put into the machine but from my prior experience they use a lot of Roswell psu's so most of the 400 watt Roswells are around $25.
So let's price match this now.
25+80+70+200+120+100 = $595.
Consider Windows 8 costs $90 and you can get 8.1 for free upgrade it brings the price up to about $685. I am unsure of how much the motherboard is or even what the motherboard is.
HOWEVER I can probably tell you this
-the motherboard has a good chance of being a Gigabyte(I have seen several IBUYPOWERS come with that brand motherboard)
-the motherboard won't have sli/crossfire support so it won't be nearly as much cost wise.
-the motherboard is probably going to be around $50-100 max. which would in the end raise the price to about $785 at the most I can imagine. (not including dvd drive but those are fairly cheap)
So about what $155 in labor/profit? That isn't too bad I guess but I still feel like the price could be better. I think this computer would sell better at around $899.99 personally.

What's great about it: screen quality, speed of all tasks, how many apps it can run at once
What's not so great: some minor bugs that can get irritating
First off...
-I am a new tablet user
-I am starting to adventure into the tablet section now. I don't claim to know a whole lot about tablets so I wanted to start off with something fresh so I could learn about the current technologies.
Okay so as a new tablet user as always I was all giddy about going to Best Buy on November 1st and purchasing it. Eventually, the day came after a week of acting like a little kid.
I DO wish though that Best Buy had more information in advance on exactly what they were going to be having in stock. I went to the store expecting to buy a 128GB only to be disappointed and be pretty much told they only have 32GB and 64GB versions. Nothing really major as I can't see myself needing 128GB at the moment for a tablet but you never known?
The actual shopping experience was for the most part very pleasant. I was the like third or fourth person in line they had a few associates already in line waiting to assist everyone which I really thought was a good thing in my book. The associate(I don't remember her name sadly) was very helpful and explained a little about the different cases as I had told her I was a new tablet user. So I asked her and one of her co-workers for suggestions on exactly what I would possibly need in the future as far as accessories so we went down to the tablet/computer area and the two employees generously got me set up like it was a female taking a man into a clothing store and got me all piled up with stuff :D.... yeah...
The pricing of the tablet was fair I believe. $700 wasn't too bad and I guess because the 128GB wasn't in stock that did save me $100 so I can't really argue the point. What really shocked me and while I do understand as to WHY I still find it kind of an outrageous price was the cost of the warranties. I don't remember the complete pricing but I think it was $140 for one year, $220 for two year, and like $350 for three year or something of a similar nature. Truth to be told I went with the two year as it seemed like the best "deal" But I mean seriously... $220 out of $700 is well... what... like 20% or something like that?
So I had them to add the screen protector on by Zagg ($14 fee by the way) and was told to wait 24 hours before use. Now as you can imagine...THIS WAS QUITE HARD. I did wait though. I waited exactly 24 hours as a matter of fact! (Hence why this review is late)
Okay so now to the new stuff.
As far as I know this is the first tablet with a 64bit operating system in it. This is also the fastest chip currently cpu wise. When they say one pound...they really do mean ONE POUND. I was absolutely shocked really I was. It does feel like with the protector it weights more like three pounds but that is to be expected I suppose.
Battery life thus far does seem to be pretty good. I forgot to do a battery test but I know I turned it on at like 9AM and I did use it fairly thoroughly through the day while learning more and more about the device.
That's about all I can really discuss Best Buy/Spec wise.
My own personal opinion of the device is this. If you want a long lasting tablet that has plenty of apps that you will need and you don't mind paying a little higher of a price I would suggest getting this product. I am highly satisfied ( thus far ) with the product. I look forward to doing more business with Ipads in the future. ( I still need to purchase some headphones/speakers even though I saw nothing wrong with the tablet sound)
THE BUGS I HAVE FOUND:\
-sometimes after using certain apps the function to swap from horizontal to vertical etc doesn't seem to work I am unsure as to why
-For some reason if you are using the feature where if you use three fingers and double tap it will enlarge the screen a lot of times it will show only that one area and will not allow you to move up/down with your fingers to view the items that are not being shown/enlarged.
-The button on my zagg case for the pairing feels really dislocated and it did take a few tries to get it to sync properly so that may just be a defect?
I will be posting the various items I purchased below as well if I can figure out how.

What's great about it: wireless/cpu
What's not so great: gpu/price
As always let's start with the case dimensions. I can't really say anything about the case cause it's intentionally small. 3.7 inches is really really small but that's what the computer is advertised on.
Now, the cpu is a 4th generation i7. The cpu is currently ranked the 27th best cpu. Overall though it is the 2nd best i7 4th generation that is widely used at the moment ( right behind the 4770k) for your video editing needs this has plenty of processing power.
The gpu..aka the graphics card aka the video card is the MOST important part of the computer. And just like the other Alienware this was the dominating decision in the review I made. For the price, the graphics card can be much better.
The graphics card is really marked in between the 7870 and the 79xx series graphics card by AMD. There are a couple of different videos out there that show the card in use if you do an online search for it. The card ranges about
BF3 - 1920x1080 - 60 FPS
Fary Cry 3 - 1920x1080 60-80 FPS
You have a $300 cpu, a $300 graphics card, and maybe a $80 motherboard, finally a $80 operating system. Where is everything else coming from? This computer costs way too much even with profit. With the wireless and the blu ray reader included you may be looking at in around $900 before profit, add in extra $100-150 for labor and it still just doe not add up.
I would not suggest this computer to a person who was on a budget. Again, you are paying for the Alienware name brand for the most part.

What's great about it: Intel 4th generation i5, 7850 gpu
What's not so great: price versus other machines with relative specs
First off, Intel is great and maybe it's just me and I'm sure this will get me some thumbs down for saying this but... well... I wouldn't buy this cause it's 80$ more than the AMD similar machine on Best Buy. You can get an 8320 cpu, with the same exact 7850 graphics card with the same power wattage(600w) for 820$ instead of 900$.(Yes, before you say it the computer I linked to says 8120 but when it arrived it was an 8320 and yes I know the 8320 is ranked lower than the 4570 but considering I can OC more so on the AMD cpu than the intel I say it's the same!)
Overall, the machine works great. Considering I have the AMD version of this build I can go ahead and say that this build will be able to play pretty much any game you throw at it with at least decent fps. I play normally on 1200xwhatever resolution. I have tried Tera, Marvel Heroes, Crysis 3, AS3, Batman Arkham, BF3, Elder Scrolls, Pirate101, DragonNest, Runescape 3 + Html5 (kind of unstable at the moment on the html5 so don't base it off of that), and etc. All of them have worked great. About the only one that it really :"lagged" for a second was when you get into some of the higher level areas on Marvel Heroes if you have particles all the way up it can lag for just a second but it's hard to say if it was cause of the gpu or the wireless adapter I was using cause my internet isn't the best in the world.
Overall though and generally speaking the intel i5's are smoother gameplay than the 8 core FX series AMD so you may not even experience that.
I do wish though there was more space in this case as well as this is only a Mid Tower. Some advice/warning I did notice on the AMD build of this was that the motherboard did NOT support crossfire/sli so you will need to upgrade that MOST LIKELY later yourself. (not too expensive, about 120$ motherboard). You can buy most cheaper z87's for around 99-120$ and some do and some don't have crossfire support so it really just depends on what they put into the computer.
The index rating(which personally I find to be biased...) gave this something in the 6.0 region but that's because of the data transfer everything else was like 7.0+
I have added the AMD version of this for your own research. I suggest you consider the AMD version however the Intel works as well. If you purchase the warranty with this though you WILL go above the 1,000$ mark.
One last thought as well is that the psu is going to be an off brand most likely so I do suggest getting that replaced asap before issues start arriving. the psu is very important to get a name brand such as corsair for instance.
If you have any other fps requests just let me know and I will test it for you on my desktop.

What's great about it: Great cpu, decent gpu for the price
What's not so great: case dimensions
As a gamer and also as a builder the size of the case is for the most part, the #1 concern. If I plan to do hardcore gaming with a larger/higher tier gaming card such as a titan and etc you need to know that the space provided will be large enough.
Due to this I would like to point out that the width is ONLY 6.9'. This...could be major issues. I am shocked for that matter that the 650 fit into this case.
Now let's talk about the actual hardware.
The cpu is a 4570. 4th generation, second best i5 out there at the moment! This will run your games on a smooth level. You shouldn't see much of a system lag during all of this! I am kind of shocked you can find an i5 4570 at this price with a decent gpu.
The gpu is a 650. The 650 has some fps rates which well...are really more "suited" for the 2011-2012 year range for gaming instead of 2013 but let's get some idea of what we will be looking at in 1920x1080.
Batman - Arkham Asylum - Around 40 FPS
Battlefield 3 - Around 40 FPS
Crysis 2 - Around 40 FPS
Elder Scrolls - Around 40 FPS
World of Warcraft - Varies from about 30-35 FPS
Ports are:
2 x DVI-D Dual Link
1 x Mini-HDMI
1 x VGA (Gigabyte ONLY)
the card supports four screens operating concurrently: three in Surround mode and one extended desktop.
You should also keep in mind that this card CANNOT be SLI(because of the six pin auxiliary connector)
There have also been reports about the psu being only a 300W. I am not sure if this is true or not. If this is true I would highly suggest upgrading toa name brand(Corsair, Cooler Master, Thermaltake) psu of around 550-700W.
8GB memory is plenty for gaming.
I would suggest this to a friend if you aren't afraid of not being able to upgrade that much without getting a new case and if you aren't afraid of replacing the psu.
Enjoy gaming!

What's great about it: 8 core, 2GB gpu memory, large drive
What's not so great: no ssd, only 7.7 wide, no wireless
Well let's get started. The last IBUYPOWER I did a review on got a lot of feedback overall on the BestBuy site and (sadly for me cause I was planning on actually purchasing it!) it finally went out of stock the other day.
Let's start with the case. This case is a fairly average height/depth case the case isn't as wide as I wish it was though honestly. This does have a 7850 which isn't the largest of course but it does show that it can hold some of the larger ones at least. I would had preferred if it was at least an 8.5 wide case. The case is fairly average weight wise as well perhaps a little heavier than the regular case but that's because of the packed hardware(good thing)
This has an 8 core CPU. Six months ago I would had said that gaming companies was still trying to get eight core processors to work accurately with their systems however now they work amazingly and are quite responsive! This is the literally the second best FX 8xxx series processor out there on the market. You can't go wrong with the cpu whatsoever. For you intel lovers the processor matches up to about a low level I7. TO give you another example the 8320 is ranked 75 currently while the 4th generation 4570k is ranked 88! So that tells you right there it can hold power, a lot of it!.
I can't say a lot about the memory as we have no way of knowing if this i600, 1333, 1866, or whatever speed ram. All we can assume is that the motherboard has to at least be decent if it has the capability for more upgrades(32gb). I would assume though we can still upgrade later our own self to like 1866 as most motherboards at least go that high. As far as the needed speed... 8gb is plenty for gaming so you won't be steered wrong there. 16gb though wow this baby could do some amazing video editing even! I don't really see a need for 32gb personally but hey if you want it go for it.
Now the graphics card...the MOST important part of a gaming rig. This is your "MY PRECIOUS" item of the rig for a gamer haha. Sorry about the LOTR reference...anyway let's get started here.
To start off with the AMD 7850 is ranked 24th at the moment. This card is somewhere thereabout between a 650 TI BOOST and a 660 GT. So this card has some power, some excellent power! Let me give you some FPS benchmarks now.
BF3 : 50-60 FPS at 1920x1080
Crysis 2: 50-60 FPS at 1920x1080(which surprised me as it's very heavy!)
GTA IV: 57-67 FPS at 1920x1080(car distance of 35, strange comment as well..this ranked higher than the 7970 on this game!)
Batman-Arkham Asylum: 120-140 FPS at 1920x1080
Elder Scrolls: 50-60 FPS at 1920x1080
World of Warcraft: 60-75 FPS at 1920x1080
I think it's fair to say the card is a beast for a very fair price.
One last item I would like to say well two actually...
This card only has
2 x DVI
2 x DisplayPorts
1 x HDMI
I have read that a couple of the cards (as we don't know what brand) require a mini hdmi so just FYI
The second item I would like to say is that IBUYPOWER and CYBERPOWER are well known for using xtremegear PSU's. There is probably a 600-700W PSU that needs to be replaced with a better brand (Corsair/Thermaltake i.e.)
This product is... Perfect for Business, Inputs which I need, A nice compact size, Attractive design, easy to set up, lightning fast, Sharp graphics

What's great about it: Price versus Specs
What's not so great: Size of case
Whenever I review a computer the case is always, and as a computer builder something that is always important.
This case is only 7.5 inches wide. This means that quite honestly...(at least I wouldn't) get it for that very reason. The larger GPU's just won't have room to fit in the case.
Besides the size though, this is a dandy little computer. It's priced fairly nicely. The GT640 is averaged fairly equally with a Radeon 7750. I believe it draws a little more power than the 7750 though but not a whole lot more.
Here are some basic benchmarks results to get an idea of what you are looking at:
Battlefield 3: 20-26FPS at 1920x1080
Elder Scrolls: 28-33 FPS at 1920x1080
Diablo III : 40-50 FPS at 1920x1080
Crysis 2: 10-20 FPS at 1920x1080 (but Crysis is a very heavy game anyway so you really need a better card to even get better marks!)
The card is priced fairly nicely as well at around 100$. The card has a mini hdmi port, and two DVI ports. The Asus brand comes with a D-Sub port as well.
The good thing about Cybertron is that they have decent tastes in PSU unlike other gaming companies who use Xtremegear and such. It most likely has an Antec or some other decent brand. This means the PSU will be able to hold almost anything you throw at it. (Unless you going to add multiple cards/do a major upgrade maybe)
The motherboard you can't really expect much of considering it maxes at 16GB ( which is plenty anyway and the price of the product)
The CPU while not the newest out there has plenty of power and won't steer you wrong. It won't bottleneck on newer GPU's.
I gave this four stars purely because of the case size. You won't be able to do many GPU upgrades to this computer I do not believe but for the basic/beginner gamer I would suggest looking into this! You could always transfer the items to a new case I suppose.
This product has... Perfect for business, good sound quality, Easy to set up, great picture quality, Lightning fast

What's great about it: Charges decently fast/good battery life
What's not so great: Muffled sound
Well I like this product personally. I purchased this set for my grandfather for his fathers day/birthday present (it's like two days apart so yeah). Like I said, the phones work great as far as I can tell. He had requested a phone that still had speed dial and speakerphone in it (he is blind so can't use the new technology contact list these phones have).
It took some digging. BestBuy was unable to help me find the phones in their filters and I did similar searching and could not find it. So then I decided to to call up the phone brands I was seeing in the filter. I called up Sony, Uniden, and etc to get variant prices. After talking with several companies I finally was sold on the Unidens so called them back up and got the information for the model number. Looked it up on BestBuy and here I am.
I first tested the phones for about two-three days in advance before giving him the phones to make sure they work properly ( you know how older people can be sometimes with electronics and make out stuff don't work...).
The phones for me work great besides a "muffled noise" type of issue while walking around the house talking. That was a little bit of a let down. I was thinking it may just be a defect but after finding out it was on all the phones I realized it was just an issue with that model in general. I had actually contacted Uniden about it and they told me that it was a known issue that had been corrected in the next model up. After talking with them some more though I found out that the newer model didn't have the speed dial saving on it and had the new contact book so that option was out so I decided to stick with these and let my grandfather have them anyway.
As far as how my grandfather likes them he makes out like ( and I personally never witnessed this) but he makes out like they "don't keep a charge". I have told him over and over you aren't supposed to keep the phones on the base... but anyway!
That's about it.

What's great about it: Value for price
What's not so great: None I can think of!
My family has this tradition on Saturday where my grandfather and great Aunt comes over to spend some time with us/eat with us etc. And after we eat and all we have this other tradition where we sit in the living room and weigh/take blood pressure. For about a year and a half we were using this scale literally that was my double great grandmothers back from the 70's LOL...
Well as you can imagine it would weigh the lighter people like 100 pounds and less so I got fed up with it not working for me ( I am a larger guy around 275 pounds) so I went and purchased this purely for the weight. I wanted my father (who is more like 350-365 pounds) to also be able to weigh. Most scales only go up to 300 without getting a hospital scale so this suited me perfectly for 400 pounds max.
As far as I can tell the scale is working perfectly to gather accurate weight information. I (honestly) had no idea it did body mass etc, not that that really matters to me. (Can't change some people haha)
So for the price of about 60$ this works great for weight accuracy. Another thought is that battery life is really good as well. I bought this back on 05/17/13, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet so I assume this is good.
This product has... Attractive design, Clear display, Quick reading, lightweight

What's great about it: Dual graphics card - 3D compatible gaming
What's not so great: price/hardware
This is actually the first time I have seen some cybertron's on BestBuy before! I was wondering when these would be added.
This model has DUAL 550TI's. For those who don't know what that compares to a single 550TI is like a 7570-7770 radeon graphics card. So you have pretty much two of those if that helps tell you about where it stands. You could also consider it being betweeen a GT 645-650 series if you wanted to look at it like that so it has dual those.(very similar benchmarks)
Dual 550TI's benchmarks show that on Crysis 2 you can get about 30-45 FPS at 1920x1080. This would mean that you would cut this literally in half for Cyrsis 3.
Overall, the computer has decent features but for the price I am unsure if it's really worth it. It only has a 3rd generation 3570k, and dual 550ti's. The touch screen fan control is a nice addition though!
The two graphic cards combined is about 200-250$ on a good day, The 3570k cpu is about 200-250$ as well on a good day. (239$ at the moment at BestBuy!) which overall would turn out to be about 550$.
So 900$ is still coming from somewhere.
Let's talk about the case...the case is sick! I love it totally. I am kind of surprised how light the case is 27 pounds total. We do also have to take into consideration:
-1TB hard drive which is always nice
-16GB of memory (plenty for gaming/basic video editing)
I'm just not seeing it work the price though quite honestly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Three way Calling capabilities? Call waiting Caller ID?

It does have caller id

I am not sure about three way calling but I do know it can transfer from one handset to another which is useful.

If my cell phone is not paired with the base unit, eg: I am away from home, will it still answer?

No, it must be paired to ring from your cell. Your cell can still contact the landline portion of the phone though.

Speaker question., tone,pulse, remote access

Does each phone have speaker option for phone calls or only for in house communication.
Also is there a pulse or tone switch .does it have remote access for recieving messages by phone call
It does have remote access. You set your remote code via the base. You can then check voicemail by going to your voicemail and pressing *coden8umberhere

The base has speakerphone by default, the handsets itself have speakerphone button

Is this a good gaming computer?

Will I be able to play games like Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3 on med to high settings?
The I5 is a nice touch and will be plenty of cpu processing power for gaming...the graphics card is similar the AMD 7850 in benchmarks and would be able to run most games at at least 30 FPS or higher. I know I can play BF4 for example with a 7850 so you should be able to as well in at least 1600x900 resolution or something. I don't know about 1920x1080.

I would suggest doing a google search for something like "GT 650 benchmarks" and go to tomshardware or something. It will show you comparable games with FPS to give you a good idea.

I guess what I am saying is this COULD BE a good gaming computer but it depends on what you are playing and at what resolution.

It said it has a Intel i5 but it doesn't specify how many cores. Can someone let me know?
Also is it possible to get windows 7 instead of 8? I'm not sure if windows 8 will run League of Legends, which is the game I mainly intend to play. Thanks.

Yes, the SURFboard is actually the "sister" suggested product for Comcast. I used this exact model for about a year with Comcast(and still do) I will say this though if this is the one that has the combo modem/router I would SUGGEST you get your own router....the combo's just fail sooner than the plain modems for whatever reason.
