What's great about it: Light and thin, has cool features not all phones have

What's not so great: Can't get Android 4.4, cameras could be better

This phone could be better, but it is good for what you are paying for it. First of all, I sound record a lot, and the sound recording on this phone is much better than my professional camera. Also, the multitasking and able to write on screenshots are pretty cool. Also very durable, I have a cheap $5 case on it from Amazon and have dropped it on concrete many times. All I have is a minor scratch on the side of the screen. However, the camera could be much better. Also, I wish you could get Android 4.4 on it without rooting, especially since the next-generation of it, the Lucid 3, does. Though, for the price, it is pretty good. An iPhone or Note 3 is better, but for what you're paying, the phone isn't half-bad.

What's great about it: Syncs everything if you use a different device

What's not so great: , Slow, screen stinks, plastic falls off

First of all, the speed is horrendous. The processor is the same one you would find in Samsung Galaxy devices, and only has 2GB of RAM. It is so slow. Takes 10 minutes to load Google. You also can't download anything, even Google Earth, something that you SHOULD be able to download, especially on a Google product. Also, the hardware is cheap. I have pink vertical lines all over it due to a bad screen. Even downloading Crouton is horrendous. Next, I accidentally press the Search button, then go back to type, and it won't let me. I have to restart the computer in order to type again. Also, I type a Google Doc, then Chrome crashes and I lose half of my changes. Touchpad is also laggy and hard to use. Long story short, do not buy. Awesome at first, loved it, now doesn't even download apps from the Web Store. It says its installed in the CWS but it's not in my app list. DO NOT BUY.

This product is... Good sound quality, lemon

About me... Budget Conscious, Student, Technology guru, Gamer, Number cruncher (10-key needed)

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

will you be able to use a 64 gb sd card for memory expansion

Yes, but not all SD cards fit. For example, the SD card for my camera won't fit in the slot.

Transferring photos from my digital camera directly to Samsung Chromebook

I have been researching laptops and have almost come to the conclusion that this product would offer me just about everything I need at a great price. My only issue is whether I can upload photos from my Nikon Coolpix camera Model S4300, as I know one can't instal software onto a Chromebook, only apps available from Google.

I know if I plug in my Kindle Fire, it brings up all the files on it. It doesn't do that with my phone, though. It may simply be what kind of camera you have.

Sorry, but I will need more information to solve this. What do you mean, encrypted? How does the Store Apps affect it? They shouldn't be interfering.

As in WiFi? Of course! That is what the Chromebook relies on. Without internet, you can't do anything on it.

It's not working with Bluetooth

I've connected my galaxy S4 with a USB to my chrome book and I couldn't do ANYTHING. I tried connecting with Bluetooth and it would not let me transfer anything. This computer is annoying me

Bluetooth is like that, especially from a Chromebook. Sometimes, Bluetooth just doesn't work. Is it close enough in range? It might be that this computer is too old to handle your phone.

How long can I use this laptop before it needs to be recharged?

It lasts about 8 hours connected to the internet. Offline, it lasts about 4. It wears down over time, though. Mine is a year old and lasts about 5-6.

I'm pretty sure, yes. However, don't expect to make really fancy ones.

Unfortunately, no. Chromebooks can't run desktop applications you get off the internet. Unless you're tech-savvy enough to install Ubuntu on it.

Can I use a Chromebook to set up a wifi network?

The Chromebook will be my only computer . Can I set up a wifi network with it or would I need a "real" computer to set up the router?

Of course you can set up a WiFi network! That's what the Chromebook relies on! If you're not connected to the internet on it, you can't do anything.

I need this to type statements then print the statements. Can I save the typed statements to a jump drive then get it printed?

You can save them to Google Drive and print them from there. You have to set up your printer for the Chromebook though.
