Both battery pack are similar except the prismatic lithium-ion battery can come in a thinner housing or packaging compare to a polymer

I'd say you go for the asus 15.6" 2 in 1. Reason, im using it for office works and since I bought this unit last year I never had an issue but still its for you to decide.

what is the difference between a built in 10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 CONNECTOR)and a built in 10/100/1000 Mbps fast Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 CONNECTOR) as far as networking? which is better?

Actually, it depends on which category of the RJ-45 you are pertaining to. If I were to choose, I prefer the Gigabit ETHERNET LAN specially if the Gigabit ETHERNET LAN is under the category 6 or 6a, it has 250 to 500 MHz and since obviously, its much higher than the Mbps ETHERNET LAN that only has 100 MHz.

No it doesn't have it.

what would the difference be (how would it look different etc) between a computer with shared video memory and one with 1792 mg total be?

Normally shared video is more intended for light graphics needs while some of the discreet video can handle applications that require highly-intensive graphics which is used for some video that need HD effects

For the Smart Gesture let's say you are playing in the tablet, and its car racing you can use tilting without touching on tablet to control the car. You just have to make the tablet turn right, left, up and down. Also, it effectively replaces the mouse, offering an alternative ways to control the unit.

For Control Zone Trackpad and 3-Finger support are almost the same feature, they only differ and vary on its design.
