What's great about it: Has a cover for your phone.
What's not so great: No oleophobic coating on window
Wow, $60? Really? This case feels VERY cheap in the hand. For $60 I want some real leather or even quality fake leather. That's not the worst part. There is no oleophobic coating on the cover window. That means that it quickly gets covered in finger oils and doesn't wipe off easily. Nasty.
One thing people don't realize about this kind of case. If grit or sand gets under the cover it will grind against your screen and scratch it. Better off just getting a 9+ hardness tempered glass screen protector for $10 and a solid drop-proof case (because you WILL drop your phone). I recommend the Platinum Series with kickstand. Wait for it to go on sale.

What's great about it: Digitizer, if it has one?
What's not so great: Heavy and d=slow HDD.
This unit looks amazing. But one question. All of the write-ups mention this new version has an active digitizer pen and yet there is no mention of it in the specs here nor does anyone mention it in their reviews. I also see that BestBuy does not sell the digitizer pen separately.
What gives? Does it have a pen or not?

What's great about it: Call quality/reception is best ever on a cell phone
What's not so great: Screen could be a bit bigger I guess
I have owned Samsung phones for years. Awesome screens and functionality, lousy call quality. In my house I was lucky to get one bar on my Note II. On the HTC One I get 4 bars in the same exact spot and people say I sound very natural. Samsung phones always made me sound somewhat robotic and electronic.
Also, as much as I like a BIG phone (I came this close to getting the 6" 1520) at some point you have to consider what it would be like to carry something that large around or how silly you might look making a call on it.
The HTC One is big enough to do basic web browsing and read emails or texts but small enough to use one handed. But really it all comes down to call quality and reception and on that the HTC One wins.

This will be short and sweet:
I bought this beast on sale for $899. That is the same as the cost of the 64GB Surface Pro 2 without a keyboard. I mean MY GOD, it's almost like stealing. To buy comparable to this (there is nothing comparable to this), you will need to drop $1200 minimum.
The yellow thing? Fixed through energy management.
Wifi problems? I'm running at 60 mbps down from the moment I connected. What wifi problems?

Think about this. I sold my Surface Pro 1 for $600 and this incredible upgrade was only $300 more! I can't buy a week's groceries for $300!
Would be nice if they included an active digitizer but I rarely used the one with my Surface Pro anyway because I can type so much faster than I write. Anyway, they make plenty of good styli now with fine points if I ever need one.
One last thing, i was worried how my database which fit my Surface Pro screen at 125% zoom would fit on this given the resolution? Good news is that cranked all the way up, the fit is exactly the same! Excellent! No tiny letters.

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Inhuman skin tones, weak remote that must be pointed at unit to work, weak audio out, washed out in ambient light.
I have owned 3 HD projectors, an Epson, an Optoma and this. By FAR this is the worst. Returned it on day one.
You simply cannot achieve human looking skin tone no matter how hard you try. Everyone looks like they are wearing heavy base makeup. Projector is not bright enough to handle a room with ambient light. 3000 lumens as advertised? No way. The remote is awful. You must point it directly at the projector for it to work. Audio out for external speakers is very weak. Last point, being a DLP this projector has a color wheel. It whines non-stop.
If you have a room with ambient light, get an LCD projector. Don't even think twice. Yes if you are really close you will see the "screen door effect" because the screen is made up of individual pixels, but sitting at a normal distance you will not perceive this.
Worst projector I have ever tried. Not even close.

No, sadly Quicken is far too advanced to work on a low spec machine like this. Quicken requires at minimum an i9 cpu with 300 GB ram and a 2 TB SSD with 3D laser cube memory capability.

Will Best Buy carry the wireless charging version of this case?
Any details on availability would be appreciated. Cases are one of those things that if you're going to get one at all, you're going to get it as soon as possible to protect the device. The ship is sailing.
Remember that these wireless charging cases only charge at 650 mah. That is significantly below the 2 amp wired charged. It's cool and all but will charge MUCH slower than plugged in.

I have a Embroidery program that I have currently on my Lap Top that I use to convert files to run on my sewing machine.
No, you cannot download any programs on a Surface Pro. You have to pay an extra $1000 for the "Download Unlock Feature".

I've heard there's been at least one fix or patch made to Yoga 2s since they first became available. If I bought one online today--say December 3 or 4 2013) at bestbuy.com, would it include all the latest updates/patches/fixes? Thanks!
I just picked up a new one and it was running Windows 8.1 already along with all patches EXCEPT the BIOS and Energy Manager which I applied myself.
