If you have animals, I would be wary. We have two German Shepherds and it does not take long for the rollers in this machine to get clogged up. It's mainly because of the use of bristled brushes instead of the silicone-only rollers in iRobot's higher end models.
But even if you do have animals, and don't mind cleaning this vacuum a little more than others, you can go wrong with this price point. But what to expect is in the name, "Essentials". There are no bells and whistles. This is a far cry from their S9. But that may be a good thing. We've had three S9s just stop working all together for no apparent reason. It might be good for iRobot to get back to its roots and create a solid workhorse of a vacuum.
Don't let it simple profile and quiet demeanor fool you. This vacuum has great dirt pickup and an extra wide bin to catch it. The filters seem a little flimsy, but again I reiterate the word "essentials".
Currently we have it working inside our climate controlled garage where our pups like to drag the mud, dirt and dog hair in. It will be a true test on this vacuum's longevity. I hope it can live up to the task.
Due to my tainted history with other iRobot products, I will cautiously recommend this vacuum to beginning smart vac users who don't want to spend a small fortune.

There's not much to say about this SSD. Samsung make high quality products and this is not an exception. I purchased this SSD to replace a 1TB SSD I had in my PS5. Just be aware that this SSD does not include a heatsink. However, so far so good.
If you are installing this in a PS5 and you already have an SSD installed, I would recommend purchasing an external HDD to move all of your data to briefly during the swap. Unless you have enough room on the internal memory to move the data over. But I assume that's not the case since you are in fact expanding the storage capacity of your PS5.
I've tested games on both the internal storage and the SSD. I have not see any quality degradation when playing processor intense games like Warzone, Harry Potter and Minecraft. The Samsung drive has been keeping up thus far and I am glad for it.
For installation into the PS5, just go on Youtube and search for a video. It's not terribly difficult. You'll need a smaller phillips head screwdriver and that's about it.
If you're looking to expand your storage capacity of your PS5, I would highly recommend this Samsung SSD.

I've used detail trimmers before, but this things blows the others out of the water. Read the instructions! There are different heads for different types of trimming. I specifically got this one to replace an old one that had just broken. I only use it for trimming nose and ear hair.
When I turned this thing on for the first time I will admit I was a little intimidated. You can feel the torque in this trimmer. I was a little concerned it was too powerful. But after a few passes I realized this trimmer is well built and strong. I also like the fact it is fully washable. No worrying about getting water in a part that can't handle water.
There are two cons that kept me from giving the trimmer a five star review. First, with great power comes great noise! This trimmer is VERY loud. And that is especially noticeable when trimming in and around your ears. And secondly, given the fact that the trimmer has multiple small parts, it would have been nice if Philips splurged on a small storage bag for the trimmer and its accessories.
But with all of that in mind, I would still highly recommend this trimmer over some knock off online purchase. You get what you pay for and you definitely get the quality Philips has shown over the years.

We have one of these monitors already but I got another one for my daughter to have dual screens. Currently she has another company’s screen, which is comparable in specs and price, but that’s all it is comparable to. The Dell G2524H blows it out of the water! Having a side-by-side comparison made it easy to choose the Dell. Although she rarely uses the monitors to their full capability, my daughter says that the crispness of the display reduces eye strain and fatigue when working on projects for long periods of time. The true colors that are displayed make them conducive to her graphic art designs.
And while she does not max out these screens with what she does on them, they provide a lot of power, inputs and outputs that will make these monitors future-proof for some time to come. Having multiple inputs with HDMI and Display Ports, allows the user to have two different setups for two completely different devices. And, if you are into gaming, the 240Hz refresh rate is awesome! AND you can overclock to 280 to squeeze a little more out of this display!
If desk space is at a premium, fear not! The foot for the monitor stand is quite small without compromising stability. The monitor also has a 100x100mm VESA mount if you want to mount in on monitor arms.
All in all this monitor is a user friendly, easy to setup and use, rockstar! And at this price point, why not buy two…. Or three… or… well you get the point. Highly recommended.

When I say it’s worth every penny, I mean it. With the rising costs of electricity, any assistance in keeping our heating bill in check is worth its weight in gold (quite literally). Using this humidifier in a central location in our house immediately affected the humidity level in our entire house! We have tried in line humidifiers, connected directly to our HVAC and even with them running 24/7 they never achieved the results that one 24 hour period did with this humidifier.
So lets start from the beginning. Unpacking and physical setup were simple and easy. Setting the app was also straight forward, but it took a couple times for the firmware update to take. I had to turn the machine off, remove it from the app, and then link it again. That did the trick! Also, if you have a 2.4ghz/5Ghz mesh network, you may have to do some adjustments to your network settings. I would recommend for simplicity (and safety) setting up an IOT (internet of things) only subnetwork that is only running on 2.4ghz. This keeps your personal devices ( cellphones, laptops, tablets, etc) disconnected from all your other smart devices that can be more susceptible to hacking attacks. It also also IOT/smart devices a network to run on their own, which divides traffic and available IP addresses. But I digress.

Getting this thing in the dead of winter was a godsend! Once I turned it on, I set it to reach 47% humidity. It took about 24 hours and 8-10 gallons of water, but it is comfortably sitting at that point now and is not constantly running. Obviously it may take longer due to environmental variables, but it will get there and maintain. We have a Nest thermostat that allows us to have the circulator fan kick on the HVAC from time to time. I think this helps disperse the humid air to the rest of the house.
We are on well water. And while I know the manufacturer said it can take water straight from the tap, we opted to use water from our reverse osmosis system. This is straight H20 that has been filtered to remove any contaminants. This helps keep our unit cleaner, longer. I did recently clean the device following the instructions in the owner’s manual online. It is very simple and was done in less than five minutes.
There are a couple of parts that have to be replaced after a time. The four blue filters at the top and the round, white inline filter that sits on the end of the hose in the tank. Both can be washed out during the cleaning process, but it is recommended by the manufacturer that they be replaced during the times listed in the owner’s manual. For the life of me I couldn’t find these replacement filters. They are not offered on the company’s app, or store. I contacted Levoit and they immediately responded giving me links to purchase the filters off Amazon. You can find them by searching “LEVOIT 4-Pack Premium Filter for Superior 6000S” and “LEVOIT 10-Pack Top Fill Humidifier Replacement Filters”. They’re not very expensive which surprised me, as other air cleaning devices we’ve purchased in the past have a low-cost device but the cost of the filters is exorbitant! Not the case with Levoit! Well done!
Our machine has be running for nearly a month now. I will warn again that if your house is dry, it may take A LOT of water at the beginning. But after running for a bit it will slow down. We now keep our house 3-4 degrees cooler in the winter because it feels so comfortable and even throughout the house. That is definitely putting money back in our pocket. I would HIGHLY recommend this humidifier to anyone looking to make their home more comfortable!

Arlo has a golden opportunity right now with the inevitable demise of Google’s Nest Secure Security System. There are many others, myself included, that have been left out in the cold by Google’s inability to listen to its customers and continue providing service for a solid DIY security system that we’ve invested a lot of money into. With that in mind, I was looking for a replacement. My requirements were the following:
- DIY simple with a no cost self-monitoring option
- Easy system usage for my family
- Sensor capabilities that mirrored Google’s, to include a bypass button and a nightlight
- Integration into to the Google Home environment
- Easy system usage for my family

DIY and Self Monitoring
The simple answer is yes! Arlo provides free self-monitoring and does offer paid services as well. However the app itself leaves something to be desired, although it is simple to use. It is apparent though that Arlo is gearing this system toward someone that is already invested in the Arlo Environment of cameras and other devices.
Easy System Usage for My Family
Yes. The system is easy. However, having only one keypad and four doors to enter my house makes utilizing the app to disarm a necessity. Integration with smart locks would be a helpful solution, so that when a code is entered into the smart lock it also disables the security system.
Sensor Capabilities
The sensors are amazing and where this system shines! The amount they can do far exceed anything Google had to offer. They’re abilities are very impressive and include Motion Detection, Open and Close Detection, Water Leak Detection, Freeze Detection, Tilt Detection, Ambient Light Detection, Smoke Alarm Listening, and CO Alarm Listening. As I wanted, it has a system bypass capability, but it takes a little (not much) setup through the app. If you need help here is the link for that setup from Arlo :

The one thing it does not have is a motion activated night light feature. I know it sound petty, but this feature has been so helpful throughout the years in our current system. It’s a feature that no one appears to be offering to fill a market void! It should also be noted that the keypad has sensor capabilities as well. That’s pretty cool!
Integration into the Google Home Environment
The simple answer is no. And from other reviewers, I see that it does not integrate with Apple’s Home Kit either. This is a major issue for us considering every smart device we own integrates with our Google Environment. This unfortunately was the deciding factor in not going with Arlo’s home system in our house.
And although we decided to not go with the system, I am not saying I would not recommend it. Again, if you are already embedded in the Arlo Environment, this is a wonderful addition that provides many benefits. If you do not have a myriad of smart home devices that are working in an environment together, this is a wonderful and cheap way to bolster your home security. But if you’re looking for a system to integrate and amplify your current smart home environment, I would have to recommend you to look elsewhere unless Arlo is able to make changes to their integration process.

Not really, but I may buy a second set, or at least borrow these on occasion. These were acquired for my 6 year old son for gaming on the PS5. We connected them directly to the controller with no additional set up. They fit him (and me) securely without pressing hard on your head and causing discomfort.
Packaging
Solid quality packaging that kept everything secure. It was not over the top or unnecessary, but it did have a high-end feel.
Quality and Comfort
I was immediately impressed out how solid and high quality these headphones feel. They’re have a weighted feel without being overly heavy. The ear cushions feel comfortable and breathable. They have a nice balance when wearing them that rivals other high-end headphones.
As for sound, I was immediately impressed. Whether it was listening to the nuances of music, or listening for the miniscule sound of someone walking toward you in “Call of Duty”, these headphones performed!
Controls and App
I’m still a little unsure of the controls. Their placement doesn’t seem to be as intuitive as I think it could’ve been and I still seem to fumble with pushing buttons. But it may just be something I have to get used to. The app has tons of features to customize your listening to include some sensor systems and an equalizer. It’s worth looking into.

The two features that I herald on these headphones are Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and the ability to connect to two devices, allowing you to switch between two devices instantaneously. The ANC is very well done! Even in a house full of screaming kids and dogs, I couldn’t hear my wife asking me to do any of the chores I was expected to do! 😊 Seriously though, it drowns out almost everything! Amazing. And having the ability to switch between devices immediately is just more convenient than having to take headphones off for a call.

The Redux home dryer is easy to use, very quiet and its small footprint fits snuggly anywhere. This is the first time I've used a home dryer on my hearing aids and I must say, it was a very good experience. The device is shipped in an air tight package which kept the device secure and damage free.
The set up is very easy with the instructions spelling out everything step by step. The process was easy to do as well and is easily managed by even the least technical person. Simply put the hearing aids in the Redux home dyer and let it do its magic. I could feel the difference in my hearing aids when I placed them in my ears the first morning.
The only slight negative would be the directions after the cleaning was finished. They were a little confusing, and I couldn't understand whether you were supposed to take the hearing aids out before the second set of blue flashing lights or before. I had a little bit of difficulty with that and I had to read the instructions multiple times to really understand I could take them out before the flashing lights stop.
Other than that, I would highly recommend the Re dux home dryer to my friends and family.

not that there's anything wrong with this one! I love it. But I end up drinking more water because of how much I love this bottle, that it would have benefited me to get the bigger one. If you love the bottles named after the "ape-like creature purported to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia. " (Credit Wikipedia), then you're going to fall in love with Ninja's Thirsti!
I have had many water bottles over the years. And every time, there's just something off. Maybe the water doesn't stay as cold/hot. Maybe the cap is not as easy and thought out. Maybe they're too difficult to clean. NONE of this is true with the Ninja Thirsti!
Ninja thought this bottle through. The round bottle is flat in two places so that it doesn't roll away and it fits so nicely in your hand. Genius! The top has a neat little twist off feature, making it easy to access but completely spill proof. Genius! The silicone strap aids in carrying the bottle and is easy to clean. Genius! Oh! And of course the main selling point is that the Thirsti can handle carbonated drinks?!?! Super genius!!!
And talk about maintaining! Even when the ice finally melts, this bottle maintains a cool temperature drink for much longer than some of its price point counterparts. I work long hours and fill my water up throughout the day. Very rarely do I need to add ice to the Thirsti after multiple refills.
So would I recommend this to a friend? Yes! And if they want to buy mine, I'm upgrading to the 24 oz! Congratulations Ninja!!! This product is a homerun in my book!

I am not going to go into all of the ins and outs of this keyboard. Rather, I'm just going to tell you that through the years I have had numerous Logitech devices and have never had a bad experience. More so I started using Logitech Wave Keyboards well over four years ago. If it feels weird at first, just give it time. The comfort and ease that this keyboard allows its user is unsurpassable.
The one thing that my older keyboards did not allow was for multiple devices to be used with the same keyboard. Logitech made up for that in this keyboard (and others in their series) by allowing for Logitech Bolt (dongle) and bluetooth connections. With this you can switch between devices with relative ease.
Again, with this keyboard, comfort is key. And it comes in spades, reducing fatigue and allowing for more efficient work. However, the mouse that comes with it is just ok. I would rather have just the keyboard to purchase and allow me to bundle with a higher end mouse, like Logitech's G604, which is very ergonomic and customizable. But at this price point, I would save the mouse as a backup and go get the G604 to accompany my Wave Keyboard.
The only negative to this device is the lack on one feature. I wish it had a backlit keyboard. I assume that the target demographics may not want that feature, but I can't believe I'm the only one that would like to see the Wave style keyboard backlit.
Again, I can't say enough about this keyboard. If you're on the fence, get it ! Once you get it, if it feels awkward, give it time! You will never go back!

Yes. You can either hard wire a third-party sub via the output or purchase a Sonos sub for wireless connection. I personally recommend the Sonos sub. Have one on a different system and love it!

Yes and no. While there are no controls for mic volume (other than on and off), if you flex the mic away from you or move it up and down further away from your mouth, it should compensate.

Will it also work with an up-to-date linux distribution? (e.g., Ubuntu 13.10, SteamOS, RHEL 7)? (It should -- I have yet to see one that will not work)
If it is not officially supported/doesn't work, I will have to look elsewhere.

Does this have a power (off/on) switch? I'd like to leave it plugged in all the time & just turn the switch on when needed - is that an option?
I'd like to have the drive plugged in (usb & power) and just turn the device on via a power switch to activate - does this come with a built in on/off switch?
It powers up only when being utilized. Otherwise, it is in a standby mode until something tries to access it. No "hard" power on/off switch.

Can this Drive be used for more than one computer, one with Windows 7 and another with Windows XP?
I have a Desktop with Windows XP Media Center Edition32 bit and a Laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Can the same External Drive be used for backing up from both these computers?
The short answer is yes. If you use a router that has a USB port for a network drive, simply plug it in and follow your routers directions. If not, you would have to "share" the drive to the other computer. If all of this sounds to complicated I would spend the little extra a get a MyBook Live or MyBook World. They connect to your router through a ethernet cable and are ready to run immediately.
