The visual style and design of this microwave is fantastic. The button sets and rotary dial add nice accents to what looks like something pulled straight out of the mid-1960s. The pull bar for opening the microwave door is a nice touch as well; push-button release latches invariably stick over time, and users won't have that problem with this model. This little unit is excellent for an apartment or small kitchen, or for those really gunning for a retro aesthetic, but people with large families should note that the wattage is only 700 and this unit will not be able to cook items as quickly as a slightly larger 1100 or 1300 watt model.
I expected a compact microwave's reduced cooking power, but even compared to rival small microwaves it seems as though you need to factor in an additional ten or twenty seconds to expected cook time in order to get the same level of heating. The microwave isn't underpowered, but does seem to need an extra push in cooking time to match other model of similar wattage. Nothing that would make you want to return it, but prospective buyers should be aware.
The feature set is also somewhat more limited on this model. Since a rotary dial replaces the standard touchpad, there are no options for things like "popcorn" or "potato". The rotary dial allows enough precision in cook time settings, but it does beep every time you cycle through a ten-second interval. There are defrost and preset start time options, and you can adjust the power level for delicate cooking jobs, but given the somewhat constrained performance you probably shouldn't reduce it all if you can avoid it.
The device is a nice size and actually takes up less space than other compact microwaves.
If what you need is something that's visually impressive, and can accept the limitations that come with a compact microwave, you'll like this device. If you're a serious cook, you'll miss the more robust features on other models, but why would you be using a 700 watt microwave in the first place?

Don't be deterred by the screen measurements and 1080p resolution - this is a fantastic monitor that should be at the top of any gamer's wish list. The screen quality is simply fantastic, with great brightness and excellent color production. The real standout, though, is the responsiveness. I use this monitor with an Xbox One X, and I'm amazed at what 4K TVs aren't able to do that this little monitor can. There is no simulated motion blur here; what you get is instant-response vivid motion that shows a continuity of animation that really lets you see what game designers intended. Subtle differences in light and shading that typically get compressed into murky background effects suddenly reveal contours and features you weren't able to see before. Just observe any small little body of water in motion in Red Dead Redemption II or Skyrim Remastered and you'll see what I mean.
The build quality is solid, or at least as solid as plastic can be, and comparable to other monitors in this price range. The display panel has superb viewing angles. The only area where the display is lacking a bit is in the production of black. Blacks look better than on other monitors of this size I've seen, but hints of grey poke through indicating the display can't represent the deepest, squid-ink blacks with the same facility that higher-end panels can. This is more of a quibble than a flaw, though.
The one major disappointment comes with the omission of a second HDMI port. Most gaming monitors of comparable size (and lower refresh rate) include this as a standard feature, so I was a bit let down by this. If you're primarily a PC gamer, though, this shouldn't be too annoying.
Menu options are easily accessible and straightforward as well. Max brightness is very good, though not supernova-bright like some other Asus products. Color adjustment options quite frankly don't feel that necessary given the display quality, so the options available are more than sufficient.
In short, if you'd like a monitor suited for gaming and don't want to drop more than $300, then this is the perfect choice for you. Don't shrug this off because of its resolution; this monitor is worth every penny.

Take the best features of Chromebooks, wrap them in a premium build with stellar battery life, and outfit them with an extremely good audio and visual experience, and you get a Pixelbook Go.
The "Go" in the product name is embodied in excellent battery life and fantastic build quality. On a single charge, you can comfortably use this for half a day or more with no fear of the computer dying on you. What's even better is the deceptively good build. The Pixelbook Go is constructed from a metal frame that gets a textured finish for added grip that feels durable and reliable. One of the biggest drawbacks with Chromebooks has generally been the compromises made on materials to drive costs down. Well, this model cuts in the opposite direction and offers excellent material design for a competitive price. The underside is ribbed to provide for easy transport and to prevent sliding, yet made from durable metal to withstand shocks and occasional drops. This device simply feels comfortable to hold, and is lightweight enough to be eminently transportable. Dropping this in a laptop bag made me think I was carrying a tablet around instead of a computer!
The hinge is also satisfyingly strong and will clearly last years of use. The lid, or display half, is similarly solid and doesn't produce any worrisome creaks or flex.
Using this outdoors really illustrates how great the display can be. The auto-brightness settings can be extremely aggressive, but with a few presses of the Brightness key you can guarantee legibility in all sunlight conditions. The viewing angles are excellent as well, which gives the Pixelbook Go an advantage over 90 percent of the Chromebooks on the market.
What really surprised me was how great the audio experience is. I've been cycling through film trailers to test just how well this little computer can produce audio, and I'm truly amazed. There are two speakers running alongside the keyboard on the Pixelbook Go. To see them, you might not think they'd be that powerful, but they can really reproduce TV-quality sound. I can even pick up stereo mixing as sounds from a Godzilla trailer transit from the right to the left! This is a feature even pricey Windows laptops generally struggle with, so I'm pleasantly surprised. There's also a headphone jack, so commuters or students using this in a library can enjoy the great sound without being a nuisance.
They keyboard and track pad are excellent as well. They keys may feel a bit "plastic-y" at first, but you'll change your mind when you start typing with them. I'm actually typing this sentence right now with the Pixelbook Go, and I can testify that the keyboard has excellent responsiveness, the height of the keys provides for great travel, and you can type with a higher degree of precision than you would at first think. The track pad, at first, also seemed to have kind of a squishy quality to it, but I'm now seeing that it's engineered to prevent against accidental presses. For once, the heel of my hand isn't activating a menu option of shutting down a web page!
The only negative about the screen is the slightly oily quality it has on close inspection. This, I'm sure, comes from the touch screen capability built into the display (yes, the display is a touch screen). You have to be really close to notice, so this is more of a quibble than a problem, but it's something display perfectionists should be aware of.
The software offerings also really show how Chrome OS has matured as a platform, and the integration with Google services makes for a seamless experience for any veteran Android user. A simple click on the Circle icon on the bottom left and you can access your key applications. Access to Google Play apps means users have a surfeit of good programs to choose from, and the ability to use Microsoft programs (I just touched up a resume in Word before writing this) means that work-oriented users won't be disappointed. The on-board integration of Google Assistant, with its own dedicated key, is pretty cool as well. Simply hitting a key and talking to your computer certainly feels futuristic, even if voice assistants in general still have room to develop. Android users envious of Apple's integration of phone and computer services should note that the Pixelbook Go enables the same functionality. Get your texts on your computer, unlock your computer with your phone, and see who's calling from your Pixelbook screen - all pretty awesome.
Under the settings menu, there's even an option to run Linux (in beta). This could be a potential game-changer down the road. The thought of doing command line work on a Pixelbook , and working within a Linux IDE, would silence the some of the last complaints from Windows or Apple users.
Processing speed and RAM are also more than sufficient. Power users like to scrutinize specs carefully, but even the basic configuration, running a lighter OS as it does, offers stellar performance. No lag, instant web page loads, and the ability to utilize productivity apps equals a highly recommended regular- or business-use machine. In fact, because it's not weighed down by features most people won''t use, performance is guaranteed to remain strong for years to come. Even Apple computers slow down over time. Plus, regular security updates ensure a higher degree of safety than other platforms offer.
In short, this is a high-end Chromebook that absolutely will not disappoint you, and is well worth the price. This is not a 2-in-1 design, but for all that's on offer with the Pixelbook Go, you won't care.
Strongly recommended for all general users. Movie editors, musicians, and PC gamers might need a different kind of experience, but for the rest of us, this is the machine to get.

The Nest Mini adds back the bass! The original Google Home Mini was great, but bass frequencies were either nonexistent or melded with the midrange in a way that made streaming music unpleasant. Which was a shame, because compared to other voice assistants, the Google or Nest Home is, in my view, the best of the crop. Voice recognition is robust and the built-in microphones can detect sound sources from a considerable distance. Better yet, the Home isn't confused by different pitches or timbres like other competing products. Everyone in my house can wake and use the Google Home with no difficulty. No patient, plodding, deliberate enunciation needed.
The Home series now offers the full suite of matching services that made the OG Google Home feel hamstrung back when it first launched. Users quickly innovated some clever workarounds with ITTT software, but that's no longer needed (though the software is fun, especially if you want to make the Home respond with odd or naughty phrases to commands).
The biggest drawback with the 1st gen was the fact that you either got too much bass, or none at all. The main Home model was simply too punchy, and was impossible to use if you lived in an apartment or townhome (your neighbors were going to hear it, without doubt). The Mini solved the excessive bass problem by effectively getting rid of bass altogether. This new Home Mini truly gives you the best of both worlds - this is apartment friendly, but lower end frequencies are now present and accounted for.
In terms of design, this unit is practically identical to its predecessor, though it's now designed for possible wall mounting. If you liked the look and design of the OG Mini, you'll like this one. Some users may not like the fact that volume controls are accessible by tapping the sides, but the sensitive areas respond well to touch. People insistent on physical buttons might be let down, though.
The best aspect of the Home series, though, is that you don't catch it eavesdropping at random moments. The other big voice assistant device has an alarming habit of activating at random, even when noone is speaking. Normal speech can produce sounds similar to a wake word, but when you see a blue ring just start cycling for no reason, only to disappear a moment later, you wonder whether or not you're being actively recorded. Or, whether or not you've been hacked. The Nest Mini, like the Home Mini, never does this, so users can feel more confident both that they have greater software security for their devices and that potentially fewer of their conversations are being recorded. In other words, the Home Mini certainly seems to be the more secure and reliable product in this category.

This little device almost perfectly marries form and function. The camera is absolutely fantastic, and shows why Pixel users remain Pixel loyalists. This is my first exposure to the suite of features introduced with the Pixel 3, and they are undeniably fantastic. Night Sight is an absolute godsend. The zoom lens provides excellent photos from a distance with minimal fiddliing. The best aspects of the camera software, however, are what it does to improve photos without the requisite finessing required from so many other handsets. Photos just look great, with improvements seldom necessary.
The design of the device is excellent as well. Too many phone manufacturers that pursue the "glass sandwich" design aesthetic utilize smooth sides, amply curved glass, or polished metal in such a way that you find yourself desperately hoping the phone doesn't slip out of your hand. The back glass has a bit of texture, and the front and back are surrounded by an ample band that provides just the right amount of grip. The camera module doesn't protrude in a cumbersome or obnoxious way, despite the fact that it's raised a bit from the body.
Call volume and sound are excellent. Reception worked pretty well for me, too, but I have the benefit of using this near a large American city where signal reception is virtually never a problem.
The display is bright enough, but not exceptionally bright. I didn't find it to be dim at all, but it's certainly not as eye-searing as the max brightness setting on some other devices I've used. Users shouldn't have any problems using the device in sunlight, even though a shade or two of extra brightness certainly wouldn't have hurt.
The fingerprint sensor is gone, so users who absolutely love that feature or have connected their fingerprint scan to certain apps are likely to be disappointed. This isn't really that relevant to me, since bass and electric guitar have consumed about four-fifths of my fingerprints anyway!
The face unlock feature in place of the fingerprint scanner works pretty well, but old-fashioned users can always bypass it in favor of a numeric or pattern password. The Motion Sense features are still a bit in the gimmicky stage, but skeptics should take not of how Google improved the Home voice assistant over time to make it arguably the best offering of voice assistants on the market. I have full faith and confidence that the Motion Sense features are only going to get better over time, because I saw precisely the same thing happen with my Google Home.
The battery, it must be said, is... adequate. Not terrible, but not great, either. Maybe I use my phone slightly less than other people, but I have no problem making it a full day with this device. Battery life is on par with other devices I've owned, like the LG G5, so I'm not complaining. There are other options for users who want super battery life, so if that's a deal breaker for you, then perhaps this isn't the phone for you.
The performance and software are absolutely excellent. This phone absolutely tears through everything you can throw at it. the 90 Hz refresh is nice, but that's of primary interest to people who play resource-demanding games. The drop from 90 Hz to 60 Hz the phone toggles between doesn't affect fluidity or the overall experience of using the phone. I prefer consoles and computers for the most demanding games and programs, anyway.
Best of all, in my view, is the fact that this device is guaranteed two years of upgrades and even more security updates. Anyone who's ever had a device orphaned by a manufacturer knows how important this is; I just learned that my trusty former primary phone (that the Pixel 4 is replacing) is going to be stuck on Android 8.0, so the promise of software upgrades and support has extra value to me.
And the interface is stock Android. No manufacturer overlay, no rival App store, no reduplication of apps and features (two photo apps by default??), and no bloat. No nonsense apps that can't be uninstalled.
64 GB isn't the largest amount of on-board storage, but regular maintenance shouldn't make the available amount of space inadequate. Clear your cache every now and then and get an OTG cable and you're fine. I do wish this device cam with an SD card slot, but that would be unprecedented in both the Pixel and prior Nexus line.
In short, I really like this phone. It's well built, has the best camera from I can see, and is certain to be upgraded in the future. And for those who think the Pixel 3a is a good compromise at a cheaper price, I could share a horror story or two about the Asahi Dragontrail glass covering the Pixel 3a cracking on me when I looked at it funny. How Asahi is supposed to rival Corning (regular Pixels) is beyond me.
I look forward to what kind of software wackiness will be debuting on this device in time, and I'll be loving it while I wait.

The back glass has a bit of texture, and the front and back are surrounded by an ample band that provides just the right amount of grip. The camera module doesn't protrude in a cumbersome or obnoxious way, despite the fact that it's raised a bit from the body.
Call volume and sound are excellent. Reception worked pretty well for me, too, but I have the benefit of using this near a large American city where signal reception is virtually never a problem.
The display is bright enough, but not exceptionally bright. I didn't find it to be dim at all, but it's certainly not as eye-searing as the max brightness setting on some other devices I've used. Users shouldn't have any problems using the device in sunlight, even though a shade or two of extra brightness certainly wouldn't have hurt.
The fingerprint sensor is gone, so users who absolutely love that feature or have connected their fingerprint scan to certain apps are likely to be disappointed. This isn't really that relevant to me, since bass and electric guitar have consumed about four-fifths of my fingerprints anyway!
The face unlock feature in place of the fingerprint scanner works pretty well, but old-fashioned users can always bypass it in favor of a numeric or pattern password. The Motion Sense features are still a bit in the gimmicky stage, but skeptics should take not of how Google improved the Home voice assistant over time to make it arguably the best offering of voice assistants on the market. I have full faith and confidence that the Motion Sense features are only going to get better over time, because I saw precisely the same thing happen with my Google Home.
The battery, it must be said, is... adequate. Not terrible, but not great, either. Maybe I use my phone slightly less than other people, but I have no problem making it a full day with this device. Battery life is on par with other devices I've owned, like the LG G5, so I'm not complaining. There are other options for users who want super battery life, so if that's a deal breaker for you, then perhaps this isn't the phone for you.
The performance and software are absolutely excellent. This phone absolutely tears through everything you can throw at it. the 90 Hz refresh is nice, but that's of primary interest to people who play resource-demanding games. The drop from 90 Hz to 60 Hz the phone toggles between doesn't affect fluidity or the overall experience of using the phone. I prefer consoles and computers for the most demanding games and programs, anyway.
Best of all, in my view, is the fact that this device is guaranteed two years of upgrades and even more security updates. Anyone who's ever had a device orphaned by a manufacturer knows how important this is; I just learned that my trusty former primary phone (that the Pixel 4 is replacing) is going to be stuck on Android 8.0, so the promise of software upgrades and support has extra value to me.
And the interface is stock Android. No manufacturer overlay, no rival App store, no reduplication of apps and features (two photo apps by default??), and no bloat. No nonsense apps that can't be uninstalled.
64 GB isn't the largest amount of on-board storage, but regular maintenance shouldn't make the available amount of space inadequate. Clear your cache every now and then and get an OTG cable and you're fine. I do wish this device cam with an SD card slot, but that would be unprecedented in both the Pixel and prior Nexus line.
In short, I really like this phone. It's well built, has the best camera from I can see, and is certain to be upgraded in the future. And for those who think the Pixel 3a is a good compromise at a cheaper price, I could share a horror story or two about the Asahi Dragontrail glass covering the Pixel 3a cracking on me when I looked at it funny. How Asahi is supposed to rival Corning (regular Pixels) is beyond me.
I look forward to what kind of software wackiness will be debuting on this device in time, and I'll be loving it while I wait.

The display is the main attraction for this set. Colors are vibrant and pop with the same vivid tones that you'd expect from an AMOLED panel. Blacks are deep and rich, the display can reach retina-burning levels of brightness, and motion is fluid and smooth. The display quality rivals sets that are sold for hundreds of dollars more. The TV was capable of producing excellent image quality for both 4K Blu-Rays and a PS4 Pro. Visually, this is an excellent option for gamers contemplating a high-end monitor, and the set handles PS4 graphics with zero lag or dips in image quality.
The TV also provides some pretty impressive granular settings for everything from white balance to color temperature, accessible through the factory settings menu. Casual users might miss out on the full benefit of these fine-tune settings, but with so many TVs handling users settings for you, it's nice that one manufacturer lets users go absolutely crazy if they so choose. The TV also features optical audio connections, and ample HDMI ports.
But... with so many good things to say about the TV image quality, you might wonder why I said it was a "so-so TV." I'm referring to two things: the build quality and the software.
The TV has plastic chassis, which is expected for the low price point, but the body pieces housing the main circuitboards feel alarmingly flimsy, and they get uncomfortably hot to the touch after several hours. Perhaps I've been spoiled by an aluminum frame on my old 4K TV, but the plastic used here just seems a little on the cheap side. If readers think back to the hulking polycarbonate bodies of early full-HD HDTVs, you know that plastic shells, when manufactured well, are more than sufficient to withstand wear and tear. The Hisense H9F is reasonably sturdy, but there's too much give for my taste. One other issue with the physical design is the bezels. They're nice and thin, but the material that makes up the silver-painted border actually seems to be loosely glued in spots that raises real doubts about long-term durability, particularly if you have pets.
The second big issue with this set is the software implementation. Android TV is pretty good, as far as software interfaces go, and offers a much larger selection of media (and game) apps than competing platforms do. However, the Android software on this set just seems to be a bit janky. I tested the built-in software with a Shield TV also running the latest Android TV software, and the difference was unmistakable. The software is certainly functional, but apps take a few seconds longer to open, and menus stutter occasionally. This really isn't a deal breaker, since most Android-equipped TVs are considerably more expensive, but this Hisense set certainly isn't the best representation of the Android TV interface. Perhaps the set needed a faster processor or more RAM.
In short, if what you're looking for is the best display for the cheapest price, then this will make a great TV. If you want something that you can be more confident will last for the next five years, you might want to buy a set with different materials used in the design. Provided you take care of the TV, and are mindful of some of the structural issues, you won't be disappointed. And if the Android TV interface annoys you, just hook up a streaking puck.
One last thing... the TV speakers are perfectly fine to my ears. Loud, clear, and articulate. Bass is a bit shoddy, but audiophiles will probably want a home theater sound system anyway.

Durable chassis, easy integration with Windows, Mac, PS4, and Xbox, and reasonably fast transfer speeds. The unit is powered by its USB cable, so you don't have to worry about a spare outlet. Backup storage devices larger than 5 TB typically require a separate power source. Easy formatting options mean this drive can be repurposed for game system storage painlessly (which is what I ultimately used if for). The light blue metallic color is nice, but color options aren't the primary concern with USB storage devices. Unless you're really worried about aesthetics, the drive color is negligible. The drive is thick, though, so this device isn't exactly backpack-friendly. It has the depth of about two 2 TB storage drives stacked on top of each other. Not a problem for home use, but the size is something to take into consideration if you plan to take this on the go.
The only noticeable drawback with this device is a persistent clicking that occurs even when the drive is idle. So long as the drive is receiving some form of power, you'll hear a light clicking from the drive. This doesn't seem to affect operation, and is more just an intrinsic property of the operation of a magnetic disk hard drive. I have a Seagate 1 TB backup drive that makes a similar clicking sound and has worked reliably for three years, so it's unlikely the sound is indicative of any looming mechanical catastrophe.
Given that SSD prices are continually falling, this is an excellent option to backup a large music library, or to hold a growing collection of PS4 or Xbox One games. Users that need something more dynamic for shuttling large amounts of data back and forth should like for a USB-connectable SSD external drive. If your needs are more for reliable, static storage, this drive will more than suffice.

Small, portable, and powered by its connections, this little capture card is surprisingly capable for it's price and plug and play design. I was able to record content in full 1080p with no stuttering or loss of audio or image fidelity.
Prospective buyers should be advised, though, that this little device is immensely memory consumptive. Ignore the 4 gb RAM minimum; you definitely need at least 8 gbs to get adequate performance out of the GC311.
Mac users should also take into account that the required RECentral software necessary to use the card has major operability issues in Mac OSX. Perhaps I'm not software savvy enough to have ironed out the kinks in the RECentral download and installation, but I encountered significant performance issues when trying to run the software on a MacBook Pro (core i7, 16 gb RAM).
Windows users will also need to be software proficient to surmount the occasional performance hiccup, but a small amount of patience (and a willingness to ask around online) will enable average users to get everything up and running.
If you're a Windows users with adequately powered hardware, and want to get into to the world of online streaming, this is an excellent low-cost option that's well worth the software learning curve.
Retro gamers should note, however, that the GC311 has inputs for HDMI only; if you're trying to capture footage from a console that only has composite or component video outs, you may need a capture card with additional inputs. Even the original Xbox 360 didn't have an built-in HDMI out, so bear game console hardware in mind before buying.

This is an excellent device for deep cleaning the inescapable stains that your furry friends will leave somewhere on your carpet. The tanks are easy to fill and empty, and though they feel a bit fragile, you shouldn't have any problems with them becoming unseated from the main unit or with valves breaking off. The main vacuum head generates sufficient suction, though certainly not as much as your standalone vacuum cleaner. The water jets attached to the main vacuum unit are where the device really shines. A simple squeeze of the trigger and you can adequately wet a good patch, and apply more cleaning solution while running the brushes and nozzle over the stain if necessary. You can deliver just as much as is necessary while treating the area, without having to reload the tanks or grab extra bottles and sponges. The vacuum motor is also reasonably quiet and comparable to a handheld vac. The hose isn't very long, but the whole unit is lightweight enough to make picking it up and moving it no great chore. Clearly marked lines in the fill tanks also enable you to use the right amount of cleaning solution without overdoing it like you can when using a spray bottle. I've used this unit on a reasonably deep carpet and it was able to remove a pretty bad soiling incident that a little black cat left as a present. The device is easy to use and transport, and a lot less wasteful than sponges or towels you'll want to throw out right away. It doesn't have the power to clean an entire room in a single sitting, but if you need a simple carpet cleaning aid for let stains specifically, this is highly recommended.

These are a good choice for gym use and running, but there are better options for people who just want quality wireless earbuds.
I had no problems with connectivity, and the sound was better than I expected for in-ear wireless headphones. Music reproduction was actually better than a typical wired earbud set, which of course in this age of no-phono-plug-in-flagship-cellphones is a strong recommendation in its own right. Be warned, though - these will not last through the day. I maxed out at five hours on a full charge, but that was with consistent audio playback.
These headphones are comfortable, and I didn't have any issues twisting the curved hooked pieces into place behind my comparatively large ears (think Tony Blair), so these will certainly not rub you the wrong way if worn for a long workout session. Where I ran into trouble was with the incredibly sensitive touch controls. These work best if you configure your volume first and then "set and forget." Adjustments to audio are made by touching certain designated portions of one of the earbuds, but these controls aren't very tactile and it's extremely easy to accidentally gloss over two or three discrete functions when just trying to lower the volume. Perhaps as your fingers build up muscle memory these mistakes become less frequent, but I experienced considerable difficulty finding the right touch sensitive area to do something like lower the volume.
In short, these are recommended for people with athletic inclinations who just want a quality headset to last for a good workout. If you need long battery life, or like mixes of music that feature peaks and valleys in volume, you're better served by something else.

There seem to be at least three layers, and the material is primarily nylon and polyester. Great if you have a medium to small nose, not so much otherwise.

Does this filter out covid? Otherwise it's useless!
I encountered continual air leakage from the upper part of the mask, which would indicate that the mask is not filtering out Covid at all. The material is good quality and would provide better protection than standard face masks if this weren't a problem.

Your filter options used to include "depth with stand". Is this still an option?
I have a tight mantle space where depth and overall height are the two main factors in my choice, but your filter options no longer include these? Am I looking in the wrong place or did you decide to remove these options?
The stand adds about 1-1/2 to 2" to the rear of the TV, so you can use that as an approximate guide.

Can Alexa along with any and all microphones be disabled? Is the only microphone on the remote or is there one built into the TV? I don't want my TV/Amazon listening to me.
You have to hold a button down on your remote in order to activate Alexa, so yes, you can effectively disable it by never using the feature. The "listening" seems to be done on the remote's end, so the TV won't pick up any audio from you if you're not trying to use Alexa.

What is the difference between this Netgear Universal Wi-Fi range extender and the Netgear AC750 Wi-Fi extender?
The Netgear Universal WiFi Range Extender broadcasts the a/b/g/n WiFi standards, while the Netgear AC750 broadcasts the newer ac standard. Most WiFi-ready equipment uses the N standard (or something older), so unless you own a device that's capable of receiving ac wifi signals (and you have a fast enough internet connection that'll let you see the speed difference), you're better off with the Universal (i. e. non-ac) extender. Ac-capable routers still run in the +$100 dollar range, so unless you already own one, it's best to hold off on ac extenders.
