The oddest, most subtly dark entry in the Zelda franchise gets an awesome makeover in this 3ds release. The side quests (such a prominent part of a game with only 4 main dungeons) are now more easily tracked and completed with an improved Bombers notebook that allows you to view each quest's relevant characters and see what times of which days they're generally available. I might actually be able to reunite Kaifei and Anju for once!
The graphics are identical to the N64 original, with a little polish and some smoothed-over spots that improve some of the character and background textures.
Fans of the series absolutely need to play this game, especially if they've aged with the series. Between lost Deku scrubs permanently transformed into trees, a central character distraught over impending doom that he himself might be responsible for, and a lonely kid whose mischief is the result of feelings of abandonment channeled through an evil artifact, this Zelda game has more dark themes threading through it than most of the other entries put together.
Game players new to the series might find the in-game timer a bit annoying, but there are enough means to tweak it to your advantage to prevent from seriously ruining the experience.
If you like Zelda, you need to play this game.

Good, but flimsy

This is a pretty good replacement for the netbooks of old. Load times are speedy due to the onboard SSD, and the screen, while nothing fantastic, is much, much better than what you would see on a Chromebook of an equivalent size. The docking hinge for the tablet half works reasonably well (Asus has a lot of experience with this via its Android Transformer line).
The major drawback here is the build quality. The chicklet keys on the keyboard dock are a little flimsy (and small), and the body of both the tablet and dock have a terrifyingly fragile feel to them. I don't imagine this would survive a moderate drop on to a solid surface, so make sure you handle with care.
You do, however, get access to full Windows with this device (NOT the now-defunct Windows RT), so you can run the full suite of Office apps and use this gadget for some real work. You're limited to 2 GB RAM, however, so you shouldn't look to this device if you want professional photo or video editing.
All in all, a pretty solid product for a good price. I didn't have any issues with a malfunctioning device, unlike the previous reviewer. Most Asus stuff is pretty solid, and I didn't find this device to be any exception.

Underappreciated genius

Sony phones have truly come along over time, and the Xperia Z3V represents a major step towards smartphone perfection. Fast processor, 3 GB RAM, a microSD slot, Playstation streaming capability, a gorgeous 1080p screen, and waterproof design outfit this phone with virtually everything a smartphone shopper could possibly want. True, there are some imperfections, such as the flimsy port gaskets that must be kept shut in order to retain the waterproofing, but the improvements over previous Xperia models put this phone at the top of the smartphone heap. The anti-shatter film that was the bane of the z1 and z1 compact? Gone. Uncomfortable with having to pry open the flap that covers the USB port and feeling the need to invest in a Sony-branded magnetic dock? You can pop this phone on any cheap Qi charger and forget about having to delicately remove the USB port cover. And charging, of course, isn't that great of a concern anyway, because this phone is equipped with a veritable monster of a battery, and convenient battery-saving modes. The battery is built-in and can't be removed, but by the time this phone quit we should be well into the 7th or 8th iteration of the Xperia Z line. Sony's phones are praised all over the world except the USA, where they have curiously limited availability, so check reviews on GSMarena if you're interested in additional feedback (and think I sound a bit too excited).
People sometimes fault the rectangular design, but I personally prefer it to the sloped, slippery backs of some smartphone models. Even the venerable Samsung has shifted further and further away from the "inspired-by-nature" design and more towards the angular with the most recent Galaxy S and Galaxy Note.
One warning, however - Sony is notorious for sticking to hyperactive refresh cycle, so expect to feel a bit burned when the z4v or the z4 debuts about two months from now. The Z3v, though, is equipped with the hardware necessary to be sufficiently future-proof to prevent byer's remorse, though.

Fast, quick to respond, and kitted out with an fun (if not always useful) voice feature. Some of the games on offer are also worth a look, though the selection comes nowhere near the slate of games available on iOS or Google Play (some also require the extra $40 gamepad). The only drawback is the fact that services like Netflix and Hulu get "second tier" status; you won't find the loading or search times to be any different on the Fire TV than they are on the Roku 3 #and some would even say alphabet searches on the Fire TV are a little more difficult because of Amazon's on-screen linear letter carousel#. The major caveat with this device has to with presentation - Amazon does a real lousy job of highlighting "free for Prime users" videos. There's a carousel of popular and most recent titles present on the home screen, but Amazon provides no comprehensive way for users to see, at a glance, the full slate if titles that are available for Prime users. You kind of have to employ an "internet pre-screen" sometimes to find out which movies are Prime-streaming-ready before digging through the Fire TV's menu.

The software features on this phone are excellent, particularly the Active Display notifications that let you know what's happening behind the scenes when your phone's gone to sleep (without needing to wake it up#. The build quality, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Apply a little force, and you can separate the face plate from the pack. I accidentally did this while trying to remove a TPU case. Nothing horrifies you more than seeing your expensive new phone start to come apart within weeks of getting it. The screen, being 720p, also leaves a bit to be desired. The worst feature, though, is the awful, awful camera. Being able to open the camera app with two twists of the wrist is nice, but you'll find yourself wondering why more effort was put into figuring out a method for making the camera more accessible instead of more, well, functional. Seriously, camera shots from the Moto X look like they've had a mud filter applied to them. Outdoor shots are blurry and washed out, and indoor shots all become an unintentional tour through every shade of brown imaginable. Best to skip the original X and go for the far superior 2014 Moto X #2nd gen)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The perfect phone, save for one little detail

Grab this phone if you can, now that it's about to be retired in favor of the M8 and M9. The size is perfect (nowhere near phablet dimensions), the screen is far superior to Samsung's AMOLED panels, the 2 GB ram keeps browsing and loading times to a minimum, and the speakers are the best you'll ever hear on a cellphone. The only issue is the lack of a dedicated recent apps key, but a software update sort of fixed the issue by allowing you to quickly tap Home twice in order to see your open apps. No SD card expansion, but 32 GB onboard memory is more than enough. Camera lovers might be a bit disappointed by the Ultrapixel lens, but the camera is certainly serviceable for regular use. If you want an expert smartphone camera, the model to get is the Lumia 1020, if you can stand the older hardware and the Windows OS.

This is pretty much a no-frills L-shaped metal-and-glass computer desk. The biggest asset is the fact that the kit is a cinch to put together (less than 45 min.). The pieces, screw holes, and hardware are all molded perfectly, so you want have to break out a wrench to screw in a bolt that has a deformed head. The only reason I'm taking off a star is because the desk feels a bit short.

Significantly enhances WiFi coverage and setup was a breeze. Simply push the WPS setup on your router, push the same button on your extender, and you've got a network extension with a new SSID that you can move to any location you need in your house. Full disclosure - I paired this unit with a Netgear router, so hardware compatibility may not have been an issue in my case.

The bundle is an excellent value, given how expensive Vita memory cards can be, but interested customers should be aware that PlayStation TV is extremely limited compared to the PS Vita. At launch, the PlayStation TV has no support for either Hulu Plus or Netflix, which is a massive oversight on Sony's part, and quite baffling given that both applications work perfectly fine on the PlayStation Vita. Plus, many of the games available on the Vita are NOT playable on the PlayStation TV. This was expected for games that were heavily reliant on the touchpad, but it's extremely strange to see that titles like Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is playable on the PlayStation TV, while the Sly Cooper collection isn't. Make sure to consult the official list of compatible software before buying!
Complaints aside, the fact that you can play what Vita games you can (as well as the library of PSOne and PSP titles) on a big-screen TV makes the system worth the purchase. I'm looking forward to playing Blazblue without worrying about damaging the square button!
Hopefully, Sony will tweak the software with time and extend the functionality of this little box. Until then, if you own both a Vita and a PlayStation 3, then you might be better off holding off on buying for now.

There seem to be at least three layers, and the material is primarily nylon and polyester. Great if you have a medium to small nose, not so much otherwise.

Does this filter out covid? Otherwise it's useless!
I encountered continual air leakage from the upper part of the mask, which would indicate that the mask is not filtering out Covid at all. The material is good quality and would provide better protection than standard face masks if this weren't a problem.

Your filter options used to include "depth with stand". Is this still an option?
I have a tight mantle space where depth and overall height are the two main factors in my choice, but your filter options no longer include these? Am I looking in the wrong place or did you decide to remove these options?
The stand adds about 1-1/2 to 2" to the rear of the TV, so you can use that as an approximate guide.

Can Alexa along with any and all microphones be disabled? Is the only microphone on the remote or is there one built into the TV? I don't want my TV/Amazon listening to me.
You have to hold a button down on your remote in order to activate Alexa, so yes, you can effectively disable it by never using the feature. The "listening" seems to be done on the remote's end, so the TV won't pick up any audio from you if you're not trying to use Alexa.

I had no trouble with the cord for the Tarah Pro sticking. The braiding could perhaps attach to any clothing that has small, protruding fibers, like a sweater, but not on a sweatshirt or T-shirt.

What is the difference between this Netgear Universal Wi-Fi range extender and the Netgear AC750 Wi-Fi extender?
What is the difference between this Netgear Universal Wi-Fi range extender and the Netgear AC750 Wi-Fi extender?
The Netgear Universal WiFi Range Extender broadcasts the a/b/g/n WiFi standards, while the Netgear AC750 broadcasts the newer ac standard. Most WiFi-ready equipment uses the N standard (or something older), so unless you own a device that's capable of receiving ac wifi signals (and you have a fast enough internet connection that'll let you see the speed difference), you're better off with the Universal (i. e. non-ac) extender. Ac-capable routers still run in the +$100 dollar range, so unless you already own one, it's best to hold off on ac extenders.
