I've come to trust the Plantronics brand name and the Voyager Legend doesn't disappoint.
Quick Points:
-light
-easy paring
-great battery/standby time
-easy to transition between left/right ear.
-ease of use, however, buttons are small so a bit of a learning curve to locate and activate them easily.
-easily recommend as voice only headset
-stylish/high-end design
As some one who owns and tests quite a few wireless headphones/earbuds of various brands, I must remind that the Voyager Legend is not that. It's primary purpose is for voice calls not media listening. So the audio is geared towards that end. I had no problem hearing anyone I talked to, but it is not a "rich" sound, it drops the bass for a clearer sound and in doing so sounds more hollow. But it took some use for this to go away as again I typically am using a headphone setup.
The fit is great, light, and I always prefer the ear-clip design to bud-only design (they never stay in my ear). The ear-bud on this set does not actually go into the canal, but rests against it, so it is not designed to be noise-cancelling in that way and will also give you a greater extended use feel.
The noise cancellation is quite good. Driving in a vehicle with windows down, the background sound is barely noticeable from what I am told only when I am speaking. In comparison my vehicle built-in bluetooth I cannot have the window down nor the vent fan on medium or higher or it is constant background sound.
When no background noise is available the call as no feedback during my speaking portion. To be clear, what background noise was available during the calls, the persons on the other end did not find it distracting from the conversation.
I can highly recommend this product if you are seeking out voice call only device as it is designed just for that. If you are in a noisy environment consistently, it may not be adequate, but I would have to think given my experience with vehicle use and windows down there is some toleration of what the background noise environment you would be using it in. Wind sound is constant, where backgrounds with varying sounds maybe harder to cancel out, but it is good to know that the sound only comes through when the user is speaking.
If you are hoping to pull double duty of both a voice and media tool, I would recommend any other Plantronics wireless headphone setup. The trade off is not as good background noise capabilities that the Voyager Legend has as they are designed for media consumption. So really think of your needs there. This has a sweatproof rating with technology from by P2i. I did not find an IP rating anywhere on the box or in the included material.
Plantronics for quality and value is the brand I recommend the most to anyone asking. Throughout the years of using bluetooth devices I have found myself returning to them time and again.
I only gave it a 4 star rating as 5 means it is perfect and that is hard for anything. However, I always deduct a star when a device that needs to be charged does not come with a wall charger; this has become and an industry standard and it burns me just a bit. Especially when the "user warnings" included language that voids warranties against using a charger that was not included with the device or to follow proper charging times, etc. In this case, this is the first device that while it states to only use the charger included with the device, which it does not come with, that also only use the charger that came with your mobile device. So in short only use OEM chargers. That at least is something. There is no information on the input/output currents recommended, just don't charger when wet or out of temperature ranges typical of most devices that require charging.
The charging cable is extremely short, ~8 inches and also made it easy to warrant the 1 star deduction. Also this typically means the device is to be charged by computer usb port. Which is typically only 500mAh.
The charging status is a little awkward, when connecting it lights up blue and flashes 3 times then a 10 second pause and flashes 3 times again.
I have never found issue NOT recommending because of this as it just become industry standard. However, those other devices come with a case to keep the headphones in and that doubles as the charging device and power bank for charging.
The Voyager Legend has an accessory that is advertised in the packaging that is a case/power bank that is 40% the cost of the MSRP of the standalone mic set, that's not bad. Being used to having bluetooth headphones with this included (at higher price points) I will definitely be purchasing that accessory.
The charging port is a proprietary kind and magnetic which makes it easy to make sure it makes good contact. But traveling I can see this easily getting damaged over time throwing in a bag etc. So the charging case is really a good accessory to have here if the device will not be sitting on a desk all the time. I would like to see a combo unit with the headset and case/power bank included. The packaging design suggests that this may be possible as there is a large void
I've tried to hit all the points over the past two-ish weeks of use.
Included in the box is the device, charging cable, replacement ear tips of different size, and foam covers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Typically these reviews are not to be compared to any other product, but since I own a 1st Gen Wonderboom, its hard not too. And in short its upgraded in every way!
Better sound, better range, better battery life (claimed)...just better. And the 1st Gen is still a great product that I have had no issues with.
The 2nd Gen is just a few mm taller and with a few mm bigger circumference. The sound is richer and a little louder to my ears.
I easily linked my Wonderboom 1 and Wonderboom 2 together to create dual speakers. I separated them out by almost 60 ft, with about 4 walls in between and the sound never stuttered! The phone I used I moved between the distance to see if anything would drop out and it never did. Disclosure the phone was connected to the WB1 and the WB2 was the add-on. When comparing I had both WB1 and WB2 connected to my phone and just switched back and forth in my phone settings to change the speaker to play the sound. When linked them, the WB1 just happened to be set at the main speaker. I like too how you can independently control the volume of each speaker on the device itself when linked. Or use the phone and raise and lower the volume of both devices.
I stated above about "claimed" better battery life, full disclosure I'm not going to log the true time. I know with the WB1 I get great battery life for my uses, which is daily for about 30 minutes. I only have to charge about once a month. I see no reason to get the same, if not better, experience.
It is a great product that I can highly recommend. For those out there that have a WB1 there are two differences I noticed:
1. The charging port is "up-side down" compared to the charging port on the WB1 so beware your muscle memory.
2. It comes with THANKFULLY a longer charging cable.
This device still doesn't come with its own wall charger and the connection is a microUSB on the device. Which at first I thought was odd, but in my case I am grateful so I only really need to have the one charger cable. But I have to still charge two devices, so does it really matter? I did dock it 1 star here for both the USB type and lack of wall charger. No where did I see the length of time to charge the battery, but there is a light that goes off when it is full.
The included instructions (which feel waterproof) does not state anything about charging time, a lot of disclosures about not charging the device when it is wet...duh I think. And this is the part that always gets me, in the last 2 years that I have reviewed products that must be charged and do not include wall charger there is typically some sort of disclaimer to only charge the device with the included "power supply", in which, there is not one included. That just burns me, therefore I always dock 1 star for that.
I still highly recommend this product. I have had and still have other brands of this type of device and I love the value to quality with the Wonderboom 2 series (and the predecessor) and its smaller size means it gets a bit more use than some of the other devices I use.

I've always been a fan of the Skullcandy brand of wired earbuds. I had purchased one of their 1st Gen wireless earbuds, but eventually returned them due to some issues. Not sure what gen the "Indy" falls under, but they are definitely a great set of true wireless buds.
Battery life is great, sound is what I have come to expect from the Skullcandy Brand, and surprisingly they fit nice, buy the looks I thought it was going to be very tight as they look big. I typically prefer the ear clip style, but these are the first I have tried that are not that style and I really like them. Having the extra tips as usual helped to achieve a great fit. The "fin" silicone piece is removable but it doesn't appear to come with replaceable parts for that or at least to truly customize the fit.
I love that they are haptic touch (not sure of true technical term here, but there is not a physical button). I have reviewed a lot of wireless earbuds and I can say that I am done if it doesn't come with this setup at least for most of the volume/play/pause/skip controls. I don't like jamming the bud into my ear to get a good press on the button, the "Indy" has no issues there.
My only complaints are:
No brick wall charger in the box, super short charging cable, nor any info in the included printed material that states proper charging technique (all of this has become industry standard practice; and I dock a star each time)
No software/app to change/swap controls. It does however, come with a pretty deep control suite backed in, however, I did find the double press, press and hold and such don't really work as advertised a 100% of the time. The hold technique may take 2-3 seconds longer. Vol +/- worked fine though. ON/OFF is a little tricky too. Honestly, this set had the steepest learning curve of all the wireless buds I have ever used, but that is because they pretty much every control needed baked in. Whereas other brands via software app let you pick the control set, it is always limited to preset functions, no full customization. The only draw back I can see to Skullcandy's approach is that there is no firmware updates without a companion app. The learning curve too may have more come from their device schematic and trying to decipher the layout. Everything is picture related now, instead of written word (Ancient times here we come) so just seeing which bud does what took a bit of deciphering. Again though, they give you all the controls and knowing the limited set of other brands, its not really a complaint on Skullcandy, just my observation.
This also means that there is a master/slave setup and the Right Bud is Master. It will function on its own without the left, but it doesn't work the opposite. Left follows the Jerry McGuire effect, and needs Right to be complete.
The charging case is a nice size, not the smallest I've seen, but also not the largest, The shape will make it easy to slip into a pant/cargo pocket or any pocket on a bag/purse/etc.
I'd like to seem them do some fun colors like they are known for in the wired headset line.
Bottom Line, these are great set of true wireless buds, and the price point only makes them all the more a great buy. To get the companion app feature of other brands you are almost doubling the cost, keeping in mind they too don't offer a charging brick/wall outlet, provide a short charging cable, and have only a preset configuration for controls.
I would easily recommend and buy these buds to anyone.

It works extremely well for what it was designed to do...however, it was designed to only do, what it is advertised as, so it use is extremely limited.
I will admit, this product is a bit lost on my needs as my TV's are Roku equipped and I can listen to the audio via the Roku App on my phone, plus control the player.
I was secretly hoping that this would connect to my laptop that has bluetooth and then transmit the audio to a pair of klipsch desktop speakers, giving me a wireless experience via bluetooth for my office, but the signal transfer is one way only. There are devices that do this already, but they are way bigger and at least if it worked would be multi-functional.
My Lenovo Yoga could not recognize it, nor could my Galaxy S10e.
Pairing was super quick with my Plantronics 2100 Series headphones; just make sure bluetooth on your phone is off or your bluetooth headset will connect to that first.
I did notice when I tested with a Roku TV that my headphones would not control the volume, I had to use the Volume control from the TV remote. Trying it on my Lenovo laptop, my volume controls where restored to the headphones. Dunno, either way I was able to still control the volume.
I cannot fault it for what it is, does a great job, the battery life while I have not reached its limits yet should yield what it estimates. There is no way to know the level of the battery exactly, however the guide does say what the blinking lights mean. There is a PDF on the website if you like keeping the instructions handy; it takes a few clicks to find though. Have to go to Support in footer of page, AirPlay, scroll to bottom of FAQ's and select Owner's Manual, then Owner's Manual again on next screen. A PDF is displayed. A few too many steps for that if you ask me. I don't fault the device for that, but could be easier.
One HUGE plus for this, it will transmit audio and charge at the same time!!
I can recommend it, just know this is a niche device and so if this is all you need it to do, then I highly recommend it.
Even though I mention I play audio through the Roku App on my phone and either use bluetooth or wired headset for that, the audio is not as good as using this AirPlay device so that is a huge plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Produces great sound and great bass. Definite upgrade over any tv's built-in speakers.
Game sound setting seems to be the best for best overall performance. There are no manual equalizer settings. Overall most settings seem hollow and produces an echo effect. Game does it the least.
However, every setting has very good treble making voice audio very clear and crisp. Game seems to have the best Mid-bass, so it won't leave that setting for most of my tv viewing.
There isn't an LCD screen to indicate sound level, input, etc. just an led indicator. It is quite bright and can be turned off easily (and thankfully) and will only flash when changing a setting, sound, etc.
It has just 3 inputs: HDMI ARC, Optical, and Bluetooth.
The design is quite nice, there is no speaker felt anywhere so it won't collect dust and is easy keep dust off. It is textured and looks and feels like leather, but is plastic.
My tv set is a bit older and has a center stand and sits higher than most tv's these days with legs. I don't think it will cause issue with blocking the tv screen on newer models, but I would definitely check the specs and your setup just in case.
The setup and pairing of the soundbar and subwoofer was super simple.
I can easily recommend this soundbar setup.

I've always used Google Assistant on my smartphones while driving, but it just didn't always pickup my voice properly and just had general overall issues. Guessing it was 75/25 work/no-work split. Current phone is Galaxy S10e and previous is OnePlus 5T.
My truck has an aftermarket Sony media receiver and so I thought I would have to bypass that and just connect to the ROAV wireless and push the audio out via 3.5mm. That was wrong, it recognized my bluetooth headunit connected to my phone and then said it would route audio through the headunit. Paring was super simple just like any other device.
Charging is great is it adds a second port and if you don't already have a bluetooth headunit it has the 3.5mm port to hook into your car.
If you car doesn't have 3.5mm jack, this device maybe lost on your needs. It definitely works as a great charger, but Anker sells plenty of other devices cheaper without the assistant.
Charging speed seems on par with my included charger with my s10e. Honestly I'm a poor review in this category after having been on OnePlus devices for the past two years nothing charges faster using their proprietary chargers, so I don't really expect much from a standard charger. It definitely doesn't seem too slow.
Like other reviews you will find, this device is really just a Google Home for your car. So if that's what you are looking for in a car charger, it should suit your needs.
I will mention the size, it should fit in most 12v sockets where ever they may be placed in the car. In my Mazda5 however, the 12v socket sits below the on dash gear shift and above the hand brake. While it does fit, it is a little big for that space.

This is my first Dyson product, but I have heard the great reputation of the company and know others that praise their products.
My rating being based on all factors, is docked one star for some minor details that do not represent any flaws in the device itself...in short the vacuum is great!
My main complaint has to do with the dock and attachments.
Dock Mounting: The included drywall mounting anchor are barely adequate. It is a typical low weight drywall fastener requiring a 7/32 bit (not stated anywhere) and a hammer to properly insert. That style while rated for holding the weight of the vacuum itself for sure, is not going to hold up to the constant docking and removal, the down force of making sure it seats properly will eventually pull the fasteners out of the wall. In my week of testing has this happened, NO, but experience tells me otherwise. I recommend either a toggle-bolt style anchor or Zip-It equivalent style anchor. The included fasteners tend to strip out the drywall and the backing plate will come loose. The included anchor also works with concrete/brick/block walls where as my recommendations do not. At the cost though, we are talking pennies so just included a better drywall anchor as an option.
Attachments: The vacuum has a clip that will hold two of the attachments on board, and the dock has a further 2 spots to hold attachments, however, I found it frustrating that only one configuration exists to allow all attachments to be stored. Like I said this is definitely minor, but when a company prides itself in its innovation and testing (just watch their videos) and assumes a level of superiority over other products, I will hold it to the standard it says it has. The ONLY configuration that works is where the largest (and most used) floor head is attached to the dock and the fine bristle head (not combo unit) is attached next to it, leaving the upholstery head attached to the vacuum itself and the other attachments mounted to the extension pole clip. I just find that irritating as the most used part cannot be left on the device and keep all the other attachments neatly stored.
A secondary complaint has to do with the included documentation or rather the lack of proper battery care instructions. This is becoming a major concern for me as ALL (yes ALL) products I have reviewed lately while extensively warn against the dangers of batteries and what will void a warranty, yet it never gives full detailed instruction for battery care. This device never actually states if the vacuum can be left docked past the charging time, one would assume so, but it doesn't actually state it, it does however state that if not being used for extended periods of time that it should be removed from the docking station. So what is Dyson's definition of "extended periods of time"? One week, one month, multiple months?
That being said, you probably won't run into that problem in your normal routine because you will be using it a lot!
Trigger: I get the design here is to give the maximum battery life per use, however, I question that when you start and stop using the head attachment as their is about 2-3 second delay before the attachment gets up to full speed. Also, for larger jobs like continuous floor space or car cleaning that may have your arm at awkward angles, it would be nice to have a trigger lock.
And that is where the negatives end! It's a short list.
My main intended use was for the dreaded carpeted stairs. I've dealt with corded handheld options, vacuums with extremely long extension tubes, battery-operated versions, and none have ever really cleaned the carpets and to the point where it is was pointless to even try. WELL NOT ANYMORE! This Dyson V11 sucks! But in the truest definition of the word. I have two small indoor dogs and have been living in my current home around 6.5 years, and it was a little embarrassing how much dirt and dog hair it picked up. I had to empty the bin half way through the task.
Battery Run Time: I cannot say if it hit the claimed 60* min run time or not. However, I did manage to clean 150sqft of kitchen tile floor space (Eco), tested it out on about 20sqft of carpet (Eco), cleaned the stairs as mentioned (Boost), and cleaned a Honda Odyssey after a road trip (Eco) with said two dogs before the battery alerted me I was done. That's quite a few tasks completed on one charge, requiring bin cleaning 4 times. Oh and cleaned a sectional sofa twice (Eco). Always using either the larger floor attachment or the smaller roller attachment, both which use battery power to turn the heads, which is a huge plus to the suction based ones which are all but pointless.
I would highly recommend this product as a spot cleaner, stair cleaner, household shop vac replacement (not for wet use), car interior cleaner, baseboard/crown molding cleaner, couch cleaner, etc. I would NOT get rid of you regular vacuum unless you are in smaller living space. The carpet cleaning will require Boost to get a good clean. With a 3.5 hour charge time in between fully depleted and fully charged, I'll need to space out my cleaning duties either by morning/evening or by days.
This vac is going to get a lot of use and the construction and durability is solid for sure. The power is equivalent to a standard vacuum. Dumping the dust bin is an absolute cinch and a cleanable reusable filter is great. Accessing the bristle head in the rollers is also easy, so getting rid of tangled hair will be simple. Highly recommend doing it too, if not once it gets thick enough it will rob you of battery life by causing the bristle motor to work harder and vac motor to work harder.
I think you will enjoy this greatly if you know what you will be using it for ahead of time, whole home cleaning, maybe if you space out timing, but as a do-it-all spot/specialty cleaner...DEFINITELY!

This is definitely a different approach to the traditional mesh setup, in that the system begins with a full-power traditional router and adds the convenience of adding "mesh nodes" easily via the app.
Setup and Install was very straightforward.
I don't have a dead zone anymore in the living room. The router connection is in the bedroom on the opposite side of the house and in between were walls, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, and a brick wall. If I put the old router in the hall on a chair I would get a great signal, but that wasn't very convenient.
I cannot say if this Linksys MR8300 alone would have solved my problem from my last modem (it is brand new, just lower spec'ed), but combined with the mesh node my issue is solved.
I don't have a lot of square footage needing to be covered, just had obstacles in the way. Most other mesh systems come as single or 3-pack and I knew I wouldn't need a 3-pack, so it would just be something I paid for that went unused.
And, yes I could have crawled around in the attic or fished the extension into the basement and tried centralizing the original setup, but there wasn't a good central location and I didn't want that hassle. Setup in less than 20 minutes and problems solved with better equipment, just seemed like a no brainer for my application.
Mesh Wifi changes everything from the old method of setting up repeaters/bridges. I think your layout and situation will determine how much coverage you will need and which solution may serve you better. I like the fact that this setup has the ability to bath my property in WiFi and just adding a node to get around an obstacle is great.

I have my favorite pair/brand already but wanted to give this style and brand a shot. I can recommend them, but I definitely prefer for normal use/light workout use the clip style. However, some intense push up, sit up, running, obstacle course.I can see these being the ticket.
The Quick
I can recommend with some drawbacks as I have seen better implementation of button presses (physical button, pushes further into ear) and mapping; keep the phone close by! Minus 1 Star.
Ample "ear tips" and "fins" to get the best fit for each ear, but my experience I could not achieve that fit. Won't be able to use for more than 1 hour. Could change with extended use, but not sure I wan't to push it.
Phone Calls are right ear only, downside uneven battery use a 15 minute phone call dropped the right battery 6% more.
No included charger. Minus 1 Star
JayBird app is nice and very informative, well laid out. Better Start Guide than the printed version in the box; makes sense.

Could not find a comfortable fit, the smallest Fin #1 won't hold the bud in my ear. Fin #2 too thick. I found I must have the "fin" to put enough pressure in the ear. Did use #1Bud tip though. Comes with 4 different Bud Tip sizes and 4 different Fin sizes. You definitely have options to get the fit you need...if any work though.
It is nice not having anything over my ear. Won't worry about the 4 hour time limit as I won't be able to wear these for long; 1 hour will be the limit. This is obviously based on my ears, yours may be different.
Buttons
Not soft-touch, physical button that clicks, very stiff, pushes the bud further in the ear. Can "remap" buttons to available presets.
Choice for Left:
Option 1 Single Tap Google/Siri Launch
Option 2 Single Tap Vol -, Double Tap Skip Track
Choice for Right:
Option 1 Single Tap Play/Pause, Double Tap Accept/End Call
Option 2 Single Tap Vol +, Double Tap Accent/End Call and Skip Track
Find its about a 2 second delay to vol+/- change, so click slow.
Sound Quality
Cannot complain here, not much bass, but if I wanted some serious headphones with that sound, I'm not buying tiny ear buds.
These are definitely for work outs. I can recommend all day long for that. If your not really caring about that as much, would recommend the clip style/over the ear for longer use, longer run-time...typically. I only have one recommendation for that style and its name is a combination of plane and electronics.
Phone Call Quality
Phone calls right ear only.
Sound quality is good, the quality on the other end sounds fine. Headset disconnected though when call came in; music was playing at the time of call. Call Incoming sound did not play through buds. Used phone to answer call, headphones reconnected.
Miscellaneous
Bud storage is proper, right is right, left is left. Pill charger case is small, can easily fit in a pocket, gym shorts if needed. It is not rated for any splash/sweat/dust proofing.
Charging is done through the base; 5 minutes = 1 hour of audio use according to App Guide, 4 hours of use from the buds, 2 full charges from the base giving a total run-time of 12 hours, with 1 hour charge time each time for the buds. Not sure how long or what size the battery is in the charger case
I always deduct a star for any device requiring charging that does not ship with a charger. And I contemplate another star if they do not give specifications for charging. You cannot just use any charger, nor can you just leave something plugged in for hours. Pretty pathetic if you have to legislate to force companies to disclose at the very least a maximum charging time limit. Sure any charger will work, but there are parameters for charging properly.
My guess is that since the charging cable is 12 inches tip to tip it is meant to be charged off of a laptop USB, so your typically talking 500mAh. I don't know if that is the limit because they don't disclose that info. Looking on the charging base Input says 5V/1Amp. This may seem pedantic, but you will get the blame when you charge "incorrectly" and the company doesn't want to offer a claim for destroying your property. I would think with the issues we have seen with smartphones of late, this would be taken more seriously?
I do notice a signal drop from one side to the next for a split second when playing music.
Right ear bud would be Master and left bud the slave. This cannot be changed, honestly didn't event test if the left would work independently as it doesn't matter if I only get half the use and will be tethered to the phone for any other changes.
If you are going to keep the phone handy or on an arm band that may not be an issue for you.
In the paper warning guide, it was the first time I have seen a chart detailing recommended usage times based of sound level, 90db = 8 hours, 95db = 4 hours, 100db = 2 hours, 105db = 1 hour, at 115db hearing damage occurs.
I have no issue recommending these even with the downsides I have found. This category of product continues to evolve and they are getting better. It is industry standard to not include a charger, this makes my 5th set of wireless ear buds and none have come with a charger (same goes with portable bluetooth speakers).
That's my $0.02, not good at inflation rates, so its definitely worth less than that. If helps great, if it doesn't ask me a question and I'll try to answer it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Using with OnePlus 5T, no custom ROMs on Android 8.1.0 and latest software updates as of writing.
Out of the box it did an update, so cannot comment on previous Firmware version.
Obviously this is a niche device, I was hoping for it to make the one-handed, family holidays and event selfie taking less of a chore to get everyone in the photo. However after the first 5 minute run (pretty darn short), I've got a nice headache from the whir of the drone, very high pitch.
Photo/Video: It won't save photos or videos. It is supposed to save the photos directly to the 16GB built into the drone and then transfers to the phone wirelessly. However, it won't show them in the App...NO FILES is displayed in each folder section in The Gallery. The Gallery is a bit confusing too with the folder menu, options are: Device Photo, Device Video, Local Photo, Local Video. I'm assuming Device = Drone, Local = Phone...so why not just say that?
I also had it set to take 3 Multiple shots, I'm not 100% sure if it did or not since I couldn't see them. I also had 3 second delay set (off, 3s, 5s, only options) and it only ran the 3 second timer once, so again not sure if it supposed to do it multiple times or just once and take 3 burst shots?
Flight: If you are used to drone flying the concept won't have much of a learning curve for you, however, what may be a learning curve is if its you or the drone flying? This thing is going rouge on me. It has 3 options for control/launch: Easy, Medium, Expert. I couldn't get the device to lift in Expert mode. Most of the time in Easy or Medium it either went straight to the ceiling or to the floor. A few times though it did it properly I could control it just fine. The speed settings are slow, medium, fast. Honestly it felt like this thing when flying auto was on fast the whole time.
When it was hovering, it was slowly drifting, so not sure this is any better than my outstretched arm.
Battery Life: 5 minutes...You will need an powerbank if you actually plan to use this. For an extra fee you can purchase a 15,000mah power bank, but its proprietary and only works with the drone. For what they are charging for the drone, it should be included. Even so, you can find others for cheaper or close to the same price with larger capacity, and they work with other devices...that's the main point here. What they are charging is not so bad, but it is a sleeve for the drone.
I do like the app has many options to change settings for the drone and the user manual is present and legible. There is a short video tutorial as well.
Functionality: Indoor or Outdoor, which is it? If you watch the video tutorial it says not for outside use. If you read marketing material and instruction manual it says no wind or bad weather. However, every promotional photo are ALL outside! So, tell us, does it void the warranty if used outside or not? Please make up your mind and get back to me.
If all the photos are outside, does it do a bad job of inside photos?
I'll update this review once I get a new unit as I am pretty sure this one is defective (or its all firmware?). For now, I guess twiddle your thumbs, don't know of another drone marketing to this category of Pocket Selfies. There are plenty of cheap drones with tiny cameras but none marketing with high quality optics that may end up on a wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Texture or feel of the keys? Are they hard plastic or do they have a somewhat spongy or soft rubbery feel to them? I type on my fingernail tips is why I ask.

The texture is a matte textured feel. It is not super slick. They are a hard plastic and don't appear to have any sort of coating on them. I will say as hard plastic goes, they are not as hard as some other keyboards I have in my personal office. So if using your finger nails, your might be noticing the clickety clack, but compared to my to other older keyboards, your probably going to notice it is a duller than usual. The keys themselves are very quiet like that of a nice laptop with really good feedback. It definitely feels like a laptop experiencing for my desktop, which I am digging!

In the photo the bigger the keyboard, the louder the keys. The middle keyboard is an HP set that came with a desktop, it too has textured keys, but it is definitely a harder plastic. And the Logitech on the bottom is loud as can be and definitely has hard hallow sounding keys that would definitely give some extra sound when typing with fingernails.

So of the 3 three the Dell is definitely going to give you the best sound experience.

Is the keyboard backlit?

Nope, that would have been a nice touch, but I think battery life may suffer and for me, it don't type much in the dark when using my desktop, but if you are using this as a travel set, i could see the benefit of having backlight. I won't buy a laptop without it anymore.

does this drone have the the ability to return to the controller?

YES, it is called Return to Home. Each time it takes off it will set a GPS locator. If you are outside of the 20 meter radius (~70ft) the RTH function will work. Inside of that you can see the drone pretty easily and fly it back line of site or via the live feed.

hello do I need any permission or authorization to fly my Mavic mini in Miami Beach?

You don't need a license or registration to fly the Mini Series drones. However, when drone is locked on to GPS there are areas that have restrictions. Some of those areas do require you to register and you can do so via the DJI Fly App.

To keith131 the battery from mini 1 dose fit mini 2 but the mini 2 won't fit mini1. So back to my question will it damage the mini 2 using the battery from mini 1.

From the DJI website.

No. Mavic Mini will not function with the battery of DJI Mini 2. Although the international version of DJI Mini 2 can use Mavic Mini’s battery, the power will decrease and the total weight will exceed 250 g, requiring registration in some countries and regions. Please check local rules and regulations before use.
