All HDMI cables support both audio and video. As long as your Samsung Sound Bar has HDMI connections on it, the Vodka HDMI cable will pass audio to it.

Hello, this cable uses what we call semi-solid concentric packed conductors which is a type of stranded cable with thick strands that comes close to the performance of our solid conductor cable, but at a lower cost. For the Slip 16/2 cable, it is composed of 37 strands each for the positive and for the negative conductor. The metal is Long-Grain Copper (LGC), a premium grade of oxygen free copper. Both the positive and negative conductors have individual PVC insulation, and the outer PVC jacket is CL3 rated; there is no additional shielding.

Hello, both silver and copper are highly conductive metals, with silver being the more conductive of the two, but also the more expensive of the two. For digital connections, such as HDMI, most of the signal will travel down the outer part of the cable which is the path of least resistance. Starting with a high quality solid copper as the base metal and then using silver plating for the outer part of the conductor (the outer 5% in the case of the Carbon HDMI) allows for the most benefit.

Should I Clip the Banana plugs off ?

I just purchased two sets of the Audioquest Type 4 cables and only now realized my Yamaha CA-810 amp won't accept them. What should I do? Should I clip the ends off and use bare wire?

Hello, bare wire is one option you could do. Looking at images of the Yamaha CA-810 it looks like it is using the older spring clip style speaker connections. For Type 4 there are two options I can think of, one is the aforementioned bare wire connection, the other option is to have the cable terminated with our bendable pin connectors. The benda-pin is what I would normally recommend as these are a straight pin which fits easily into the spring clip style connectors that your Yamaha amp has.

Hello, the difference is the length of the cable. The first one is 1 meter (3ft, 4in) in length, the second one is 2 meters (6ft, 6in) in length.

The specs say 6.56 inches....is it really that short? And if so, what are you going to connect at that length???

It's a typo on Best Buy's website. It's a 2.0 m. cable, which is 6.56 feet, not inches! I hope this clears things up.
