I read a review that said "disappointed that you have to choose between listening to radio and using hands free features." Is it difficult to take a call if radio is playing? It seems like you would be doing one or the other anyway.

I believe you are able to answer phone calls in the middle of playing music through your radio with the Roadtripper, because your music will be interrupted by the phone call. You don't have to choose between listening to music or using hands free features, you can always use the Siri or Google Voice Assistant features. How can I remove the sticky plate from back of my phone?

For example, an old gift card or something of that nature could be used to get under the plate and remove it without damaging your device. A toothpick would also work. I can't seem to get 87.5 my radio goes to 87.7 then starts over with the higher numbered stations

Hello, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. I believe standard radios range from stations 88.1 to 107.9, so you will have to use a station in that range. We recommend using a station that is not already broadcasting audio (therefore, use a station that has a lot of static already). In order to change the station you are using on the transmitter, hold down on the red phone symbol on the transmitter until the red LED numbers start flashing. Then, change the station to the one you want using the arrows on the side of the transmitter. Make sure your car radio is on the same station as the transmitter. How can I find a way to connect the radio station to the car audio Bluetooth fm transmitter?does it have to be on a certain radio station??

Hi Marisa, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. Yes, the transmitter and your car radio have to be on the exact same radio station. Make sure you are using your transmitter with a radio station that is not already broadcasting any audio (therefore, use a station with a lot of static), otherwise it won't be very effective. In order to change stations and find which one works best in your area, hold down on the red cell phone symbol on the transmitter until the red LED numbers start flashing. Then, change the station with the arrows on the side of the transmitter until you find one that works best for your area. In my experience, turning the volume up all the way on your phone provides the clearest quality audio. Lastly, make sure you have your car radio on the same station as displayed on your transmitter (the red LED numbers). i have paired my iPhone 10x with the roadtripper, but it is not connecting to the radio. The only response i am getting is that it is prompting Siri to ask if i have a question. I have a 2006 Toyota forerunner with Roadtripper plugged into lighter socke

I received this as a gift. The rubber grips inside the clips have come off (I assume from me running the heat). Is this normal? The mount itself has dislodged from the vent and has fallen while I've been driving, startling me. I'm really not happy.

i hear mostly static. I hear the music im playing but there is so much static it is not enjoyable. Do i need to turn down the volume on my phone?

Would this hold an iPhone 6plus with an otter box?

Hello Amy, if my research is correct, I believe the width of an iPhone 6+ with an OtterBox Defender is 4.75 inches, and the OtterBox Commuter is 4.4 inches. Unfortunately, this mount does not fit a width of that size. If you didn't have the OtterBox on the phone, however, it would fit in the mount.
