I see this radio has the capabilities of XM radio, is it Xm ready or do you need additional things for XM? That's besides the prescription? Is this a good radio??

This model uses an optional accessory, SXV300 to gain Sirius and XM. This is a great standard double-din radio.

Will this deck work with Sirius XM or would I have to buy a separate receiver?

The only way to SiriusXM to this model is via Bluetooth from a smartphone. We do make models that accept a hideaway SiriusXM but this is not one of them.
