are headphones for one volume /can i still listen to tv too?

Yes, in fact--I have a pair which is used the exact same way. But there is something you need to look for on your TV: Your TV needs to have a fixed audio output. That means, a pair of RCA connectors (generally white and red) that output sound no matter what the actual volume level on the TV is set at. If you have a TV like this, you can set the TV to a level that is comfortable to you, and you can connect the headphones which have their own independent volume control. If your TV does not have this kind of a fixed audio output, you may be able to find it on a cable or satellite box, or even an old VCR that is connected to the TV, and you may be able to make the headphones work that way.

The Everio is compatible with external battery packs that connect via USB. Keep in mind that when used this way, the sealed door is open and the camcorder is not waterproof.

The built-in battery will give you 4.5 hours of continuous operation.

are these suitable to listen to tv

Hi, Yes, they are a good choice for listening to TV. In fact, I have a set and that is exactly what I use them for. The trick is the TV needs to have a fixed level audio out, so that it outputs sound to the headphone transmitter even if you turn the speakers on the TV down or off. If the TV does not have a fixed audio out, you may be able to use the audio out on a VCR that is connected to the TV. The HAW600RF does have its own volume control, so you can adjust the level to your liking.

Are the specs & description wrong? Or am I missing something?

I just received my shipped JVC Marshmallow Earbud Headphones (black), Model: HAFX32B. Best Buy's website product description and specifications indicate that this model has a built-in microphone, which is why I purchased it, but it DOES NOT. Also, the description indicates that it comes with an owner's manual, and it DOES NOT; and the product box indicates "Instructions inside," but there are none and no manual. Am I missing something, or are the specs and description wrong?

All JVC headphones are a standard 3.5mm (1/8th inch) stereo mini-plug. The plug is the new slim design which is iPhone compatible.
