Does this receiver need the JVC app to be installed on the phone to have all features work? If so, what features will I miss out on? Does it require a GPS module to be installed to get the wireless Android Auto or Car Play to work?

The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto feature will work with any smart device that has cellular data and Wi-Fi capabilities. This feature is integrated with the head unit. The GPS antenna is also included with the unit. Please contact JVC Customer Service for more information.

I have a 2008 Honda civic, will the wiring fit or do I need a separate wiring harness?

Does it connect to internal mic for 2020 ram 1500 instead of using the add on mic

This model should be compatible with the 2020 Ram 1500 classic, but it is not compatible with the 1500/2500/or 3500.
