Do I need a separate satellite antenna to get SXM in this unit?

You will need the adapter part number SXV300. That is the adapter that will be needed to get Siriusxm on it. Once you get it, it plugs into the back of the radio and it has its own antenna. Once connected you will call Siriusxm to activate your services.

Does free installation mean Free or does it not tell you about all the other expensive stuff you have to buy to make it fit your car??
