Another customer indicated that the size of the washer was 1.5 cu the specs say 2.3 cu, which is correct?

Hi, I have an island and the opening is only 34" can the feet be taken off the unit?

Hello LB, even thought the unit would fit your island, I need to let you know that it is a free standing model. Our free standing units require at least 5" of clearance on each side in order to prevent overheating, our units have an inner wall condenser so the majority of the heat created by the motor is dissipated through the skin on the sides.
