I have 2 hdmi monitors a wireless keyboard and mouse. I want to connect my desktop and laptop to be able to use the monitors and keyboards and mouse for both devices can this be accomplished with the iogear 2-port USB KVM switch?

IOGEAR says: We cannot guarantee a wireless keyboard will work with the GCS632U except for an IOGEAR wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Our KVM’s emulate a standard 102 key, keyboard and generic 2-button scroll wheel mouse. The reason for this emulation is to allow the hot key functions to operate. A side effect of the emulation is that in most cases the special key sequences required for gamming, and key programming will not translate correctly through the KVM, for gamming we recommend connecting directly to the computer.

Although our KVMs will work with most wireless keyboard mouse sets, we cannot promise an individual multimedia / programmable keyboard and mouse set will work through the KVM.

Due to the large number of manufacturer's and each manufacturer's wide range of models it is impossible to maintain any meaningful compatibility list.

Ive had for awhile and works great, but a day ir 2 ago it stopped transmitting and the reciever part makes a horrible noise when plugged in. Has anybody had this problem or know how to fix it?

If I purchase 2 of these kits, I would get 2 transmitters & 4 receivers. I only need 1 transmitter & 3 receivers but would like to have a backup of each. Will the receivers and transmitters interchange or do I need to purchase 1 kit & an extra receiver?

Will I be able to connect two screens with VGA inputs?

IOGEAR say: The GUD3C02 does not support DP++ so Video adapters cannot be used . You will not be able to have 2 VGA connections using this doc. Thank you for choosing IOGEAR
