I need to add a CAT6 cable to cables previously installed in-wall with power kit WMC701. How do you remove trim ring without damaging it? Do you need to or recommend removing both in-wall modules in order to run the additional CAT6 cable?

Hello. The trim ring snaps on/off the module. Use a flat head screw driver to gently pry the trim ring off. Routing cables through the upper and lower holes will be very difficult without removing the modules. Please review our installation instructions using the below link. Thank you

Yes, although you may need to figure out how the studs are positioned (the geek squad should be able to help with this). Another alternative if you do not need additional power sources is to use cable access plates like the below link.

What is the depth and width of the covers?

The channel measures 1" W x 1/2" D and can fit approximately 3 cords or cables.

Is it safe to place above the fireplace? I have drywall on top of brick, I want to cut into drywall and run power down to power source, just to the left of the fire place.

This will depend upon your local code, but in most cases yes, this would be allowed.

Trying to cover tv cords. Is the back to run a plug through it

Yes, the Cordmate II does have a back (base) as well as a cover to completely conceal the cord. Overall Cordmate II dimensions measure 1" wide x 1/2" deep.

I just moved into a home and the previous owner had this kit set up directly in the middle of the wall, where I would plan to place a TV mount. Can anyone recommend a tv mount for a 77" Tv that I would be able place directly over the center of this kit?

I bought this legrand concealment on wall Tv power kit. I received it while I was in LA. The deadline for return was 7/5. Today is 7/7. I couldn’t see if it would work until I arrived back home in hawaii on 7/5. It won’t fit inside cement wall. Now what
