The video would record in color during the day and in well lit conditions, and would record in black and white at night or in low light (low lux) conditions.

How does the footage get transmitted to the cloud services?

Hello,
The cloud connection is an easy-connect process between the DVR and your phone app (by scanning the QR code) - video is not stored in the cloud, only on the DVR. When you are viewing video remotely, you are making a direct connection to your DVR via the cloud with your unique DVR ID, username and password, to view live or previously recorded video directly from the DVR unit.

LW2731AC1 series camera - does it include the wireless receiver?

I bought the LW2731AC1 series security camera but it did not have the LCD receiver in the kit. What LCD receiver do I need to get to make this work with my computer. The sales man told me this would contain everything I needed to hook up to my computer.

This is an accessory camera to go with models LW2750 and LW2960 series. It is not a standalone camera and does not come with a receiver, and cannot work with a DVR unit.
