Hi Petra, this model of the 5.3 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle Top-Loading Washer has two different options, one that does come with a Steam feature and one that does not. In order to pick the one with Steam feature, please reach out to BestBuy in order to make sure the one you're looking for has that option.

The Sanitize with Oxi & Steam or Sanitize with Oxi (depending on model) eliminates 99.9% of bacteria when used in conjunction with the Oxi option. Preset cycle settings must be used to achieve the proper sanitization. Be sure to add an Oxi product to the Oxi dispenser.

Does this machine retain water under the drum and does it get all the water out of the clothes

Hi marie, it is normal for there to be water under the drum and there is a spin cycle to remove large amounts of water from the clothing at the end of the cycle.
