can I load games onto Nook on DSL

NOOK coonects to the internet via Wi-Fi, so no DSL connection is needed. If you prefer to shop NOOK Apps on your computer, you can do so on BN.com - then when you sync your device to the cloud (via Wi-Fi), your new apps will appear in your library. However, NOOK Simple Touch is a dedicated reader, and does not support games and apps. For those you would want to explore NOOK Tablet or HD.

Major difference beween the Nook ST and the ST with glow light model?

Is there a back light in the soft touch model for reading in the dark?

The main differences between the NOOK Simple Touch and the NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLight are the adjustable GlowLight, the built-in screen protector, and the A/C power adapter that are included with the GlowLight model.

I can't use it

I bought nook in bestbuy store in SF a couple of weeks ago.
We were asked where we intend to use it and we said that we are from Israel and we will use it after we return home.
Nobody told us that we must have local credit card and adress in order to but nook books from barnes and noble.
Now we are back home and the nook is useless.
Hope you can help me with this issue.

There are also instructions online for making returns by mail:
1.Pack your return in the original shipping package, if possible.
2.Include the packing slip and return label, and indicate the reason for the return.

Can buy and use a Nook, if I am from abroad and I don't have an adress at the US?

Your NOOK must be registered to a valid US address and associated with a US credit card in order to ensure digital rights management compliance. Once your NOOK is registered, you can use it to download books anywhere.

does nook ereader support international fonts (specifically russian)?

NOOK supports ebooks in languages using a Latin-based character set when fotns are not embedded in the file; NOOK can display ebooks in other languages when the fonts are embedded in the file.

i noticed another nook simple touch has back light. What is this?
