When I press the on button and then press the blend button, the blender doesn’t start smoothly. It makes 3 very short bursts before turning into a continuous blend. Is there a problem.. or am I doing something wrong ? And this is before I add the ice

Is the jar positioned on the base correctly?
Is the blade assembly tightened all the way?
If your blender is getting enough power, then you may have placed too much material inside of it for the motor and blades to function. Carefully remove some of it, and try again.
