Samsung - 50 Class DU6900 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024)

When I say "YouTube Taiwanese news" the sound works but the screen is dark; and I don't know how to turn on the screen again? The menu works, but when I choose a channel, it goes tothe channel, but the screen goes or is dark, even though the sound works.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.
2. Test the HDMI cable.
The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords.
To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.

The DU7200 and DU8000 TVs are both Crystal UHD, upgrading everything you watch into dazzling 4K. When stepping up, the DU8000 features our Dynamic Crystal Color technology to provide a more natural picture and increased depth and detail.
In regards to design, both TV Series offer 3 HDMI ports and 1 USB and are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable. When you step up to the DU8000 TV, you get an additional optical cable port for older sound systems that may not offer HDMI.
With features on the DU8000 TV, you will have a built-in voice assistant available on your remote control. The DU8000 TV also offers features such as Multi-video, allowing you to view more than one video on your screen at a time.
