I have a 32" TV installed in a cabinet which is about 30" wide interior dimension. Will the soundbar sound OK if mounted in the cabinet on a shelf or must it be free standing? See picture.

You will still get great sound from the HW-Q930C, even if you elect not to use the included wireless rear speaker kit.

If you use the HW-930C soundbar without the rear speaker kit, you will have 7.1.2 channel and lose the surround effect you get by utilizing the 2.0.2 channels of the wireless rear kit.
