Is the Only way to get audio out from this TV is by use of the optical cable? When choosing sound options on the TV it only give two options, TV or Optical even though it has HDMI and RCA ports. Why is this?

We are sorry for any confusion regarding audio out options on the CU7000 TV. This TV offers optical out, HDMI eARC, and Bluetooth. There however are not RCA ports available.

When connecting a device via HDMI, make sure it is connected to both the TV and Soundbar. Then, Set the Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.

Also, please check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.

Does come with roku built in?

No, the CU7000 TV does not have Roku built-in, but you can connect one via USB or HDMI.

55" CU7000 stand width stand width as it touches the stand is 41.6" (and not where it attaches to the tv). As I look at the diagram it "spreads" out to get wider. My table is 44" so I must know if measured at widest part of stand. pls see image.

Hi Cam,

The distance between the two ends of the stand of the 55" CU7000 TV is 40.6 (you mentioned 41.6). The TV should fit fine on a 44" table.

I purchased the 43" Class CU7000 and when I turned it on a woman's voice announces all of the inputs to the TV including turning it on and turning it off. The voice is very loud and irritating. How do I turn the voice off?

If your TV is announcing everything you do, then Voice Guide is turned on. Voice Guide is an accessibility function to assist users who are visually impaired. It is possible that you have turned it on by accident by holding down the volume button on your TV remote.

To turn off Voice Guide, navigate to Home > Settings > All Settings> General > Accessibility > Voice Guide Settings > Voice Guide.

Hi Samsung, I searched but did not see any similar questions.I turned off the ice maker function but I am still can hear the refrigerator's trying to make or push ice to the bin. Why is that? How do I stop this noise? it's not loud but you can hear it
