Will this tv fully sync with the xfinity cable remote control so I only need the xfinity remote control to operate the tv with xfinity cable service? I am returning an Insignia fire tv because you have to use both the tv and xfinity to operate

Can I disable Alexa and turn off the microphone on the CU8000 series?

Yes, you can disable the voice assistant feature by going to Settings > All Settings> General > Voice > Alexa Voice Settings > Voice Response > Off. Then open Voice Wake-Up Settings and set it to OFF.
