I noticed this TV automatically darkens when entering a dark area in a video game. Is there any way to disable this?

There are a few possibilities, please try to adjust the below Settings to prevent this from happening:

First, you may want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

Next, Auto Game Mode might be affecting the brightness. To change this, go to Settings> All Settings> Connections> Game Mode Settings.

What is the distance from the bottom of the screen too the bottom two mounting holes for wall mounting?

BryanB - On the 70" Q60C, the distance from the top VESA mounting holes to the top of the TV is 9.5". The distance from the bottom VESA holes to the bottom of the TV is 14.0".

I have a Samsung UN82NU8000, will the remotes functions and the operating system be the same on this TV and can it receive the free internet channels 1000 and on up as my 82” Thx

Hi Maxy,

The TVs will be a bit different. The TU690T TV was released in 2022, and the operating system will look different. The remote on the TU690T TV is not a voice remote and has a keypad. However, the TU690T TV does offer Samsung TV Plus which has hundreds of free channels. I recommend looking at the CU8000 TV which has a voice remote and is more comparable to the NU8000 although the operating system will be different as it is a 2023 TV.
